Doesn't look like the CO is going to do anything about this cache. Needs to be archived to stop others wasting their time.
DNF at 4:50 PM. Second time here and once again no luck. Checked the advised changed co-rds, but the GPSr was bouncing all over he place.
There were signs of a flood through here btw.

Can the CO please check on this cache as it seems that there has been quite a lot of water come through here recently and the cache may have moved.
1200 - 1300 Using both coordinates I had a good look here, but no joy.
Maybe a cache check would be in order, as others have said there seems to be minor damage to the mulch, etc from an ever-widening search. I even looked at T3 levels up to 20 m away, but found 'nadda'.
Had to move the car out past the front gate when the locals who had been mowing the lawn were locking up.

You probably need to update the coordinates or move the cache to a new location as the flora and fauna around it looks to be suffering a bit from avid searchers!
Still no find been here more then 4 times now. Maybe the cache needs to be placed elsewhere as the plants are being damaged from people trying to find it. Thanks anyways
I should have read the previous players before going out to this site. I was not disappointed with the place - love these old schools. Thanks anyway.
This cache has niot been found for a while & unfortunately Geronimo the Geo G G has gone missing. Otherwise the cache is in good shape. TFTC

Wish we had read previous log from Radnoski with new co ordinates so a no find for us today
Thanks for bringing us to this bit of history anyway
Thanks for bringing us to this bit of history anyway
Thought this looked like a typical small country school. The ground are beautifully maintained.
Took awhile as our GPS had us in an area, not where we had found the cache. I'm sure it was a lucky find today. Giving it a favourite more for the location than the cache.

Looked around the area of the new co-ordinates with no luck. Stopped to read the description again, previous logs were no help to where it was only where it wasn't. Went back to search and found it straight away. Lovely area and old school, bet there's been some brides here. TFTC Team Hylton.
This one was a real challenge..wildly roaming gps had us searching around the big tree as we were sure it was there..there were three of us caching today and we were determined to achieve a smiley...we gave up on the gps and widened our search...just looked everywhere and...success....its not near the big tree!...well maintained shady grounds...thanks for the cache Team Hylton.
Well after probably an hour of wandering, searching and booting up the lappy to have another read of the description and previous logs we have to admit defeat on this one. GPS wouldn't zero in very well at all on either set of co-ord's. Considering the amount of places the cache could be it seems ridiculous to us that there isn't at least a descriptive hint to help those that have come a fair distance hoping for a find.
Area is simply awesome to explore and geohounds really enjoyed stretching their legs here. A great place for a cache - GZ might need a rethink though.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Followed GPS, to large tree then it went crazy, maybe to much interference with branches. Will try again when I have time.
Came out a long way to not find a cache today
I had not read the previous logs, and now I can see that the co-ords should have been changed - that would have helped a lot in my quest for a smilie.
Now that I have time to read the previous logs and look at the picture of the cache, I can see that the cache is large enough to be able to be found if the co-ords were correct.
Please update the co-ords for future cachers - unfortunately, I was only in the area for a day, and who knows when I will be in the area again to have another look

Found it No. 3756 ... glad I read the new co ords, made it an easy find ... TNLN ... TFTC
I pulled up at this one and not a soul was to be seen (thankfully!). I got to GZ and stopped. I was in the middle of a wide area. Checked a few areas.. nope. Checked the logs. Hmm co-ords are out Back to the car to find the log that has the co-ords. Came back and found the cache well hidden.
Not sure why the co-ords have not been updated on this one? I have re-posted them for the next finders. A very beautiful area indeed. TFTC Team Hylton

Second last Cache for the day. Beautiful area, we hadn't driven down this road before so this opened our eyes again to yet another wonderful part of this area. Took us a while to find this, read back through the Logs and compared the 2 sets of coordinates before widening search area slightly and hitting on GZ. Geokid 1 was the finder and it kept her busy looking. TNLN SL TFTC
Didn't think we were going to find it as quick as we did. Have been here before but there was a wedding on and we couldn't look for it.

As with the previous searcher not sign of the cache in what appeared to be the only place available according to my GPSr. Lovely park, wouldn't have minded going to school here.
I didn't have alot of time left before having to be in town but made the diversion to have a quick look for this cache anyway. turns out I needed the extra time so I could search the past logs for the vital peice of information ( the correct co-ords). Anyway I enjoyed coming to this great little park and old school.
Thanks.
Thanks.
We saw a lot of very nice and big trees. A volunteer was mowing the grass and told us something about the surroundings. It was interesting. No TB in the cache.

After eventually finding this one, I wondered how it survives the children when the markets are on. Had to hunt around a bit (disturbed ALOT of mozzies while i was at it. Also it wasn't where my gps said it was, more 'jungle' to it.

Second try , this time without the rain and the mozzies. Retrieved, logged and replaced. Took yellow duckie and left rubber ball. TFTC
Found the cache with jolen & on on home (my 2nd visit too),but this time no assault from mozzies ,rain or the sweet caretaker man !!!What an interesting relic form the past well worth the visit twice TFTCx
Have had two attempts at this one with no luck
Only live 5 minutes away so will have another try.

Oh, my, thank goodness! Finally found this one. Came once before with two friends new to geocaching and the four of us hunted high and low and in a wide area but had to finally walk away with a sad dnf. We came back today quite determined and hoped for better luck. We spent ages with the gps leading us here and there. It really couldn't make up it's mind. We must have disturbed 3000 mosquitos, so be warned, come with the repellant already on all exposed skin - I'm still scratching. Hubby walked away, said he was covered head to toe in the blighters. The garden was a lot more sparse with plantings this time around and we poked our brolly everywhere. Widened the search, poked in lots more places. Even poked where cache was but didn't see it, find it, hear it. FINALLY found it when checking that spot for about the third time, and yep, there it was all the time. SO GLAD to be able to cross this one off the list.

Used the McKenna coordinates (S 29° 38.552 E 152° 56.979) and they took me straight to the cache, only I didn't see it! Used the posteds and they weren't so far away either. Went back to the first spot and this time found it, without getting scratched. There are two lovely big trees here too.
Cache Number 2 of 9 in a day caching in and around Grafton. The grounds are so well mancured - would have loved to spend more time here. Eldest daughter found this one quickly - I was looking in completely the wrong area. Took a magnet, and left some foam stickers. Thanks for the cache!
Found today without much trouble using the now perhaps famous Mekenna Co-Ords. Cache is a bit wet but the log is OK! No swap, Cheers from Sydney!

Found by Mary & David at 0840. We weren't too hopeful with so many previous DNFs. The engineer loaded each of the available coordinate sets. McKenna's were very good and led us straight to the cache within 30 seconds. Beautiful grounds. Our thanks to Team Hylton.
DNF at 10.10pm. A peaceful walk along the driveway in this moonlees night, but then the frustration of finding that the owner hasn't bothered to update the co-ords even after 2 or 3 previous cachers have supplied the correction. We wasted a lot of time around the big fig tree and then around half a dozen other trees before deciding to pull the pin as we didn't want to trample into the garden bed amongst the prolific spiders!!
An unfortunate experience for us we re affraid.

No luck today, after reading the last log I thought I might have trouble.

What can I say! I do hate, just HATE, to have to log a DNF!! Four of us searched and searched. We searched using McKenna's co-ordinates - still no joy for us. Got cobwebs over our hair. Even a spider on my hair. Scrambled through leaves, bushes, plants, trees. Just couldn't find it. VERY reluctantly we gave up after a long search when we were extremely hot and bothered on a hot and humid day. But thanks for bringing us here. A very sweet little school that is well tended.
Found while travelling to grafton on a day trip. Prettyplace no travel bug in cache left a lanard and a phone charm
A lovely location. Went by with Magpyre and she warned me about the coords so I just systematically worked my way around the GZ. Love the old school.

Found it at last, using MC KENNA's co-ordinates. This was about the fourth try - I don't like spiders... TFTC. snikpoHKS.
An interesting location. Thanks for bringing us here.
The streets of Grafton looked great with the Jacarandas in bloom.
It was a tricky hide, but perseverance paid off in the end. We used the co-ordinates provided by MCKENNA.
There were endless mosquitoes. So we left blood, took nothing.

Took a caching visitor from Queanbeyan, MC KENNA, to try out one of the most difficult caches in the area. The co-ordinates sent us quite a way off GZ but after a long search she found it.

Finally, 4th time lucky, found the cache just as I was deciding to give up AGAIN!!
Being short of time i had to call the search off sooner than i liked, but i did manage to find a pair of rats hiding in the garden.

Walked in to GZ, and of course, found nothing. I really dont like these caches that the coordinates dont take you to GZ. I scouted around a few likely locations, but the rain, mossies, and the need to keep on the move dictated I give it away after about 10 minutes.

We had GZ in the middle of the roadway so 'Bedmaker' went left and I went right. Tough find as it's very well hidden. TN/LN/SL.
Found with Geo-uncle Lat & Long Junkie while on our Top Gear Tour down south. Was very well hidden. We found the co-ords out by about 15 meters, so future searches may want to consider this. TFTC
Have updated the difficulty for this cache due to so many DNFs but it still being there.
Don't know why previous cachers had so much trouble with this as coords are spot on and we found it easily after delving down in the obvious place. Maybe it's beacuse the gardens have been cleared as there were no overgrown stuff or weeds and no ticks thankfully. Only a few mozzies to contend with.

I agree with eatmorchikin regarding the gardens being trampled and I do think that that is one of the problems with caching. This cache had gerrynewgirl searching around that great big old fig tree whilst I took notice of my GPS and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC TN left token.
Yeah, another find in the company of weroamin. My GPS was playing silly buggers! TFTC.
This one eluded us like so many others before us. We looked and looked but felt too uncomfortable being in the flower beds where the GPS sent us. It is a shame that the gardens are getting trampled about by so many looking for this. The gardener must wonder what is going on. Not a good day for us looking for caches in Grafton. Thanks... ...eatmorchickin and stigglepot from Brisbane.
Congrats on one of the best hides I have seen! I was poking around with a stick and almost missed it.......went back to do a double check and there it was . But man the mozzies are vicious....I came out with bites all up my legs and all over my arms. TSLSSL, TFTC!

This made for a lovely stop on our day exploring the area. It's a pity we will not be nearby when it next opens. We found the cache well hidden, about half way between the co-ords listed and the ones posted by Team Bloopy. TFTC
Well the clan voted this cache the worst DNF of the day, no of the week if not month.
The co-ords placed us in the middle of a dirt track, Team Bloopy's co-ords placed us in the middle of a Spider infested, Tick infested and Mossie infested forrest.
We searched for about 40 minutes and came up with nothing except heaps of mossie bites, spiders all over us and ticks in clothes.
I spent the night pulling the little buggers off me.
I also spent hours rubbing my little geodaughters legs with sting-goes.
There are some many nice buildings to place a cache under. maybe you might think of moving it and actually placing a hint.
Big drive for no goods.
But the place was beautiful and looked wonderful.
Just those bloody mossies, spiders and ticks ruined it.
Thanks

Dropped in today while travelling the Lawrence-Grafton road. GZ to me to the middle of a road. Searched the obvious places nearby up to 17m from GZ with no luck.
Didn't search through the gardens as I don't like trampling the flora.
Keep a watch on this one.

Spent a good half hour looking for this one to no avail. Had to abandon further searching as someone arrived to prepare the area for the markets tomorrow.
We found lots of spiders, bugs and a small frog but no cache for us today - shame to finish the day off on a dnf but that is how it played out for us today. We will be back (one day...)
Despite a reasonable search with team bloopy we couldn't manage to find the cache today. First dnf - very sad.
I was heading north again today through the jacaranda city. I couldn't not go and have another look for this cache
With fingers crossed that the gates to the park would be locked, I arrived once more in time for school
No one around, so I picked up where I left off last time. Nup not there!! Maybe over there?!!
Nup not there either [:o]
Another hour and suddenly, there it was
Grrrr!! Why not in the obvious spots ?
Maybe that's why the cache name is what it is?

No time for school today, there's a cache to be found
But no sooner had I stolled across the oval to GZ, a car appeared at the locked gates. It wasn't soon before the gardening brigade had the gates open and were milling busily around [:o]
I managed a surrepticious search and soon spotted something that might be a cache. I bided my time till the gardening chores took the muggles elsewhere. Eureka!! I've found.... a chip packet
Oh well !!
