Thanks for the quick find with the helpful hint! All in good order. Took nothing; left nothing today but would be a good place for swaps if anyone has any. TFtc.
Having just arrived back from Australia, we needed to find a cache to go with the one we found across the ditch, as there is a challenge cache that requires finding 2 caches from different countries on the same day. Quick find here. Thanks miowmix
Had been walking the heritage trail and I managed to persuade Mrs T to return to the centre via the houses on the hill (she likes looking at houses ) - and what's this, a cache just down those steps a short way
Another short walk from the van, followed by a slow chug up the many, many steps. The cache was soon found as per the hint. Oh joy! Thanks for putting this here
I had been in the area last Wednesday with friends, but they had all already found this one so I figured I'd leave it for another day. I just hadn't expected the return to come around so soon, but tonight I had good reason to be in the area again so thought I'd have a crack at it. I was able to park not far from it, and the Hint made for a quick find at GZ. It was nice and quiet this evening so I was able to sit and relax whilst adding my name to the log. No issues to report so the whole thing was soon replaced as found. Thanks for setting this one up.
It always helps to start counting from the right place
Very quick find after my heart rate returned to normal and I caught my breath coming up from the Adventure Lab

Counted the 18 as the hint mentioned and there it was, dry, signed and returned ready for the next cacher. Tftc
Thanks for getting me to this walk way... I've visited Plimmerton a few times now but didn't know about this walk and lovely views. Thanks,
After a busy 3 days at a Block Course I didn't fancy traipsing up all this steps so I cheated and went from the top. Found it first attempt. It's so lovely to see and hear the tuis singing in the trees and flying from one to another. Nice spot up here too. 6770
Found with on a Sunday afternoon adventure. Cache was fry inside but is in need of a bit of love. TFTC. KTG
Out with KiwiKatieG. Log all good. Lots of old loose logs just left in the cache. Not sure if they from the original book or now. Lots of other rubbish in there too. Amazing the amount of times we find a cache that has torn up paper / receipts and that's supposed to be swag. Lol. TFTC
Quickly unearthed after a quick search. Have never been up this way before - great views on a nice day.
Great sunny day for finding caches. Managed to get this one waiting for our fish and chips tftc
easy find while stretching our legs after a drive from Rotorua. Catching the late ferry tonight. tftc
#1778. Grandson is playing cricket at Ngati Toa Domain just down the road. The lunch break was a good opportunity to duck up here and grab a few caches in an area I have never been to before. It was windy as … but no rain thankfully. I need 11 more caches to bring up my 100 for December, the last remaining month for this milestone. And it’s my 6th December of caching! This was the last of the 4 I found, but the first one I searched for.
Misunderstood the hint, so was searching the wrong place, when I was muggled. Decided to move on up The Track, where I found 3 caches, then returned here. It ended up as a nice easy find the second time round. Tftc miowmix.
P.S. my grandson’s team lost by 1 wicket with 5 balls remaining. So 93 December total now.

Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I were heading down to Invercargill for Christmas … parked up here at the NZMCA car park & decided we would go for an evening stroll ... picked up this Cache on our travels ... pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally ... TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #1,951 for us.
Early morning start to find some caches on my to Pauatahanui Inlet CITO 2021 Event. Time to do some around Plimmerton. Thanks miowmix for the cache.
Heading back to Wellington from Kapiti, stopped off in Plimmerton to find some caches. This one a fairly quick find, once the start point (several options) was figured out. All good in container. Tftc!
Initially picked the wrong starting step as that undergrowth looking more promising. Soon realised our mistake, picked a new starting point, and quickly found the cache. Thanks miowmix, nice views!
Enjoyed venturing into a part of Plimmerton I haven't visited before. Took a moment to work out where the hint started, but got there in the end! TFTC Miowmix.
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches.
Found with Fisha1288 but she's not doing Premium yet
Cheers, Cympull.

Out and about with MightyMicra, found this under 20 after a bit of a search, now back under 18. TFTC.
Staying with stormshadow nearby for just one night so went for an evening walk. Nice easy find on a cool evening. TFTH
Wasnt under the right step but with bit of searching we found it.. adventures with sxyjcmchn
Definitely not on the 18th step unless I cant count which is possible hahaha good find!
Out doing various walks in the area with jgirl1880. Thank goodness we found the easy way! Would not have wanted to do that from the other end.
Gosh there are so many sneaky walk ways around here ..it’s a cacher paradise lol....found all good ..but had to wait for a nosey neighbor to move along then grabbed and signed the log replaced as found ...thanks meow mix for the placement
They royal we decided to ride our bikes over this road/ track. I still had oxygen at this stage although I could see that wouldn't last long. The neighbor spotted us and fluffed for ages watching us. I guarded the bikes at the top. She backed up her driveway and stopped, wound down window and asked if we were lost. I had to explain that we were geocaching. With that she nodded sagely and drove off. After that the cache was found. Thanks for the placement miowmix.
Last of six caches located in the area this afternoon. Found this one, with little difficulty, after a walk with the geohound along the Taua-Tapu track on a sunny but rather windy day. Does look a bit like you’re going on to private property, but I presume that's not the case!. #2262. TFTC.
Our family is starting nearby for a couple of weeks. Miss Five and I found this cache while bringing the dog for a walk on our first day here. Thanks!
I was at ground ero but didn't feel i could look for the cache as there were people spray painting there car right there, so maybe next visit we will try again.
A quick and easy find. Thanks
Today we moved lodging from Lower Hutt to Plimmerton. We cached on the way and did a great walk from Paekakeriki to Pukerua Bay. Signed the cache logs as Ms+Mr KR.
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

Today was the last official day of the Mega.
Plans were to collect as many puzzle caches that we had solved in the area plus anything else that came along.
Most of the puzzles were road side witch was extremely busy so parking in some cases were peoples driveways and balancing on road edges and some we didn't go for as they were to difficult to get to. Another day and we have to return.
Al in all a very successful day. SLTFTC

WENZ Mega Weekend is finally here... Our big focus for today will be to clear out the Kiwi Geo Art trail around the Pauatahanui Basin. We are expecting some challenges here - narrow roads and lots of muggles. With Gap (of Fap and Gap), NZFlossy, and McJandals...
Sunday: We were a little more relaxed today, since there were no pressures to be at certain places on time... We came into Plimmerton for a nosey and to see if there were any decent restaurants to stop for dinner... We ended up in the hills, looking for caches. This was one of those finds. TFTC.

Attending the Wellington MEGA, great to visit here from the sunny Bay of Plenty, these finds have been found with my team members, which include myself, NZ Flossy, Squirrel Nutcase, FapandGap, Philip Perry, TNXPRO and Davidson Clan (To save room on logs have signed Team BOP) We are having a blast and gathering lots of smileys along the way. Please excuse generic logs in advance. (as I have saved the template using Cachly) Many Thanks to all you cache owners for the placements. Cheers
Attending the mega with TeamBOP. Great time to catch up with other cachers and visit Wellington lLots of fun and laughs while finding lots of great caches Thanks to all the COs for providing all the caches and the work that goes into them. Sorry for the generic logs will try to add to them once back home Thanks
I'm down for the Mega with my northland caching buddies GraciesGPSfun and thegreatauk. This was one of the trads we collected today while doing the kiwi geoart. Thegreatauk wanted to achieve a new high for himself of 50 finds for the day. We managed that just before the light faded and our energy drained completely. A quick find, thanks
On a long trip down to the mega with Lis's crew. So for me it good for numbers and favorites caches. With several stops and a lot of caches and several souvenirs up for grabs the trip was the perfect opportunity to get my numbers up and get some challenges that I have qualified for. Today we were targeting the Kiwi GeoTrail and trying to get fifty in a day which we just managed. This happened to include a lo of driving back and forth around the inlet and getting other side caches. but we managed a few walks in between for some of the other caches. Thanks to everyone who is maintaining these caches and keeping them going.
Nice easy find with the hint, got a workout walking up all those steps, lots of birds around
Out for some night caching it the area, last one of the night. All safe and dry here. TFTC
Need to improve my counting skills - but once recounted steps an easy find! TFTC!
Cache was easy to find, but pathway hidden a bit, thought we were going on to private property at first
Found while out this way. Quick n easy find as good coords and hint. TNLNSL, TFTC.
Quick find where all good at GZ. Found with wb-jnr. Thanks for another smilie.

Hoping to see you at the [Oamaru Geofest](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC6M2V0_oamaru-geofest-2017) during Labour Weekend 21-22 October 2017. Let’s all help this a successful event!
Thanks to the Cache Owner who has gone to the trouble of creating this cache, determining the coordinates and then averaging them to make sure they are accurate, placing the cache and registering it online for our enjoyment. Without Cache Owners doing their bit, there wouldn’t be a fun hobby that we all love - so again a big THANK YOU. For our bit, all we need to do is find and log the cache that was carefully placed for our personal enjoyment. As we log it we should consider that the Cache Owner also needs to maintain it - when the log sheet fills up, they must replace it. When the container becomes full of water, they need to empty it. When the container is broken, they need to repair it. When it goes missing they need to find or replace it. Well..... the great news is we can do our bit too - make sure your log doesn’t take an entire page - just a name and date. If full of water, empty and dry the cache as best as possible. Be careful when handling the cache and make sure you replace it where you found it. If it has a bag, seal it. Just remember - the Cache Owner showed respect to you by placing the cache - please respect them and fellow cachers that follow you by being careful with the cache. And if you have a spare log sheet and the cache you are at needs one, please leave it behind. Finally, if the cache does need maintenance, please let the Cache Owner know - you can log a Maintenance Log or you can drop a line to the Cache Owner. Above all - have fun and remember the Geocaching Code.

Day three of our mission to complete the 100-10-7 challenge. This was the first find of the day. Nice quick find. Location matched the hint perfectly. Signed as RE as I'm caching with Ethnz.
Yes a man was washing his car and the bird life was great to see and hear as was his little dog. Sure he wondered why we Sunju and I didn't go all the way down the steps. Perhaps he thought we were scared,Ha Ha. TFTC
On a road trip with my mum (CNAH) last weekend with the primary goal of seeing where my grandmothers grave is at Makara Cemetery. My mum lived her childhood in Ohariu Valley so it made sense to explore this area en route. Had a fantastic time hearing snippets of her childhood as we travelled these local roads - it brought back many memories for mum. From there we shot up to Taita Cemetery to visit another gravestone and then back to our motel in Plimmerton. Could not resist stopping for more caches en route. This is home turf for us. I lived my childhood on the Paekakariki Hill Road and went to the Pauatahanui School (I was the only pupil in Form 2 and there were only about 60 kids in the whole school). Learnt to drive on Grays Road - no traffic on the road back then. Had enough time left before dark to grab some around Plimmerton. WOW the views! A neighbour was washing something nearby but we appeared engrossed with the amazing birdlife and soon had the cache in hand, signed and replaced without him even acknowledging us. TFTC
out with RR on our trip around the world, mostly in New Zealand, after I'd taken early retirement but I will still return to work doing 23 hours per week. What a beautiful sunny hot day again. Logs signed DD & RR.
I soon had this one in hand and was signing the log. TFTC

Cache soon found with no problems to our great delight as we wanted to find a cache with Plimmington in the name as we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in the BBH Hostel on Moana Road which we would highly recommend. Many thanks
Travelling around the world with Dartmoor Deliverer helping her celebrate having taking early retirement!
NB Dont forget our Devon UK Mega 2017 GC6JZNY this August in the beautiful East Devon area of our county. UK Megas are over one week full of events and geocaching - a wonderful way to enjoy our county!

Missed this one on the way up the track so went back at end of day. Quick find TFTC
this really was a cache of joy as it was the last one I was able to grab before home, nice quick find after hubby dropped me off so he could turn around, not muggles around while I made the find, lovely views up this way having never had a reason to come here before now. thanks for the placement
TregearP and I visited this walkway today to increase the number of finds for CO Yeetrees for 3 x 100 caches by 3 owners challenge.
This cache is owned by someone else but was on the route we took, so it would be rude to pass without visiting. A quick find, and all in good order. Took nothing, but left a promotional cards for the [Wellington Event 2018](https://sites.google.com/site/wenzgeo2018/home), and completed formalities.
