Logs
On a roadie of the sth Island from invercargill. A stroll around the cemetery picking up a few caches. Tftc
Nice place to walk. A shame that we couldn't stay out longer and enjoy the pathways and find some more geocaches. Not under my control.
Out for a nice bike ride and having a great time. Log is dry. Cache is all good. TFTC
Found cache on ground so replaced where I thought it was meant to be :- about 1.5m away, above GL, where my GPS indicates. Covered by piece of wood. Log paper is sodden and needs replacing (sorry I didn't have any with me). Thanks for the placement.
Lovely walk with coconuts3 today. Beaut day. Easy find all safe and dry. But log absolutely full. Please Co replace. TFTC
Lovely walk with busy paws and bonus with a few caches great day to be out. Thanks for the cache TheWonderStuff.
Up in this area with Net61 and Jag50 for a week of geocaching .We were here searching for some time....but could find nothing.
Day 5 with Supernannny and Net61 in Nelson exploring this part of the country. No luck here
Log all wet so couldn't sign. No longer a plastic bag there either
Took photo if required by owner.

Lovely walk out here. The area was a swamp thanks to previous days of rain, and it has also changed somewhat. The previous log and gumboots were both useful in locating the cache. TFTC!!
Staying in the NZMCA Park nearby and went searching without geopup Finn this time. No long vegetation to contend with at this time of the year.
Tree gone, just a stump remains Reasonably quick find today. TFTC.

A nice quick find thanks. Pleased to see that the cache was missing the last time we looked, and it was not just cache blindness.
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee road trip to Nelson. Today we cruised around Motueka, after the morning rain had stopped.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Out for a walk on one of our 3 caching days around here. Helped by a previous log. Tftc
Thanks to the other logs (excuse the pun) we found this one relatively quickly. A good day for a bike ride. TFTC
After reading the comments, we searched a lot of stumps. Spotted it after going into the Middle and looking out!
Nice easy find with nanzie on our trip around the place Great day for chaching tftc
Sir belac and I were caching in the Moutere and Motueka area it was a good chance to visit my Mum and Dad who are buried here. Thanks
Located with Ricardinho
A characterful local sprung us finding this one & them proceeded to chew our ear for the next 5 mins, on his distate of cyclists & their aptitude for damaging his native plantings. Very protective of his trees
Proceed with caution & care in this area, the local informal caretaker is very passionate

Yep, the tree is long gone but the cache is still there, tucked in against the stump and covered with sticks.
While replacing we got rumbled by a local who has been doing a bit of planting around here. We had spotted him sifting around on the nearby island a few minutes earlier -my next port of call. No issues though, he often stumbles across geocaches and writes his name in the book, although he has no idea how to log them online.
The title of this cache is not lost on someone like myself who is a fan of Morrissey and Co, thanks for the cache Wonderstuff (once owned an album of theirs too……..)
I had pre-warned RG1972 that we were going to be doing a bit of caching today, because it’s one of the few days I have left (4 I think) where I need to for a calendar project.
So we decided to drive to Motueka and have a bit of a walk around.
A good mixture of caches and 6 adventure labs too, meaning the latest souvenir offering is safely bagged. We had lunch on the waterfront and RG enjoyed walking around the town she grew up in visiting old haunts and telling me stories, most of which can’t be repeated here.
Thanks all COs.

I spent a few minutes following the hint before I read some previous logs and found out that I needed to be looking for something a bit different. This produced the desired result. TFTC.
Day 20 of three weeks winter motorhoming in the upper half of the South Island. Moved on from Port Tarakohe (between Pohara and Ligar Bay) back over the Takaka hill to Motueka today. Picked up a few caches along the way.
Once we were parked up at Motueka later afternoon I went for a short bike ride and picked up three caches. This one was a reasonably quick find at the former tree! #4237. TFTC.

Having spent a useful hour or so at a CITO event in Nelson I took the opportunity to head out to Motueka, a caching area I have neglected for too long.
This has long been a sad, blue face on my caching map following a flunked attempt early one morning several years back.
No such problems today as I almost tripped over the cache as I entered the tree line.
Thanks TheWonderStuff

Came to have a look around. Seems a bit odd that this is the first time here for me even though I grew up in Motueka. Good coords and a quick find. Thanks to TheWonderStuff. Cache and log are in good condition.
That took longer than expected. Although the hint states that we don't need to go in the group of trees we had to. We could not grab the cache from the edge. But once we decided to go a few meters in between the trees it was an easy find. TFTC
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I are on a bit of a Christmas Roadtrip from Auckland to Ingill & back ... we'll be doing a few geocaches on our travels ... this being the 156th cache of hopefully many ... we had been spent Christmas in Invercargill & were now heading back to Auckland, taking the scenic route ... we were now heading North, doing caches as we go ... had stayed the night in Motueka & decided on a short walk around the Estuary before heading to Picton ... be rude not to grab some caches on the way ... another 'smiley face' to the tally ... TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #1,890 for us.

Nothing was found here, unfortunately. Would be great if you do some maintenance here. Like the title, the song by The Smiths came to my mind.

I didn't expect to find this one and others were not to keen to wait long - they just had a rest at a previous bench while I was looking for another cache.
But I dived into the bushes, went to the end, turned around and saw it!
Not too hard to spot (or maybe it was not meant to be there), no leaf cover at the moment (winter time is easier for these hides). But the lid is missing, the log looks like it has been very wet at some stage but it is dry at the moment.
Would be good to replace the container or somehow put a lid on this one.

Had a week in Christchurch visiting family, now visiting family and friends in Motueka area. An early morning walk around the inlet to find some caches. Thanks TheWonderStuff for the cache.
Caching around Motueka today on our last day of our weeks stay collecting new and missed caches.
Container lying on ground looking a little sorry for itself with no lid on. Replaced as hint suggests but co may need to attend for some TLC. Cache bag and sheet also a little damp.

Found it together with friends. tftc. Logged as rejseholdet, greetings from Denmark
In the area so dived in for the find. Took a while to spot it and found the lid on the floor, unable to get it to stay on the top. I think the log was unsignable here and nothing to replace, sorry. T F T C TWS, I am a huge fan of this song by The Smiths, nice tribute to your friend.
I came over to Nelson with mrs capperz yesterday and we had an unwritten list of things to shop for and get, and it was after 2PM by the time I was asked if there were any caches I wanted to get. With one eye on the Museum caper, and slim pickings over my side of the hill, I thought it was overdue time to do a numbers run, and attend the Sunday streak-stopping event too (a chance to say a quick hi to the gang - then head onto the geo-trail). With a sort of list for pre-event and an eye on Cache-rich Motueka area I set off from home at 0630. Called into work to retrieve my TB haul to drop and share, and was over the hill by 0815. Onto the caches pretty quick and by days-end had a healthy haul of 30 towards the challenge. A few DNFs at the end as my searching deteriorated but a good day including a great loop-walk around the salt-flats and surrounds of Mot Marina.

Super fun. Found by tobin, challenging to open and get log book out. Thanks heaps!
Today, D4nielB and me decided to explre Motueka, just wandering around and maybe look for some caches on our way.
This one was an easy find thanks to the hint.
Greetings from Hamburg, Germany.

Since it's relax day for Jul1ane and me, we decided to do some shopping and then explore Motueka a bit, of course not without exploring some caches as well.
A fast find.

Awesome co ords lead me straight to the spot ...fast find and sign thanks wonderstuff. Well done
Great coords led me straight to cache which almost hit me. We had hidden our bikes close by to go out to the island. Thanks for bringing us here TheWonderstuff
Staying nearby in the caravan....and after a morning walk to town and a mid day siesta it was time for another walk before tea. Windy around here but peaceful and relatively muggle free.

I decided to go for a walk along the Inlet Walkway seeing that I had parked my snail sheel right next to it.
Had to hide from the muggles walking along the nearby path.
Cheers for the cache.

A quick find with SJT_NZ, I was looking in the other direction and SJT_NZ spotted the obvious, all in good order, TFTC
Tregearp and I were getting cabin fever with the wet weather, chores, some work brought home over the weekend and study. Time to get out and grab a few caches!
A quick find - all in good order. signed log and replaced as found.
Thanks TheWonderStuff for the cache.
