What an amazing idea for a cache and in an amazing spot!! This area is just beautiful and a spot that I have never been. Thank you for the cache and for the extra bit of fun involved!!
Nice quick find after taking a few photos of the nearby old pier, I made my way to this the hard way and added my part to the story

The cache appears to be missing, with just the logs left. The stories and logs are still in tact in pretty good condition, but in need of a new container.
Today TheRustyDuck and I set off on an epic journey to collect mystery caches. We are attempting the Mystery Month Challenge and travelled from Lara right around to Ocean Grove. We had spent all week solving puzzles and writing a itinerary. After the long week we set off early, for a car full of stuff and a packed lunch. We had a great day visiting all the places we did today.
We approached this one the wrong way, but got there in the end. The cache box is missing, so probably would be best to have some attention before the weather gets to it. TFTC

Today was Mission: Mystery Cache. yellowdaisy135 and I collected mystery caches from Lara, through Geelong, all the way down to Ocean Grove. This was the 12th of 21 mystery caches, in what turned out to be quite a long day. We spent most of the week leading up to today solving as many puzzles as we could. Some were solved almost immediately either by myself or by yellowdaisy, while others required significant time and effort. In the end, time got the better of us, and we had to forgo searching for a few. We had a few hiccups along the way, but all in all it was a very successful day.
Thanks to all the cache owners for putting in the effort to make great puzzles. TFTC.
The cache appears to be missing, with just the logs left. It's in need of some TLC and maintenance if it is to last much longer.

A nice location for a cache, I will have to come back one day with my camera. tftc
Out caching in the area to day with McLookers, Wozzle68 and The_Tritonz. I accidentally slid down some of the way to GZ and after a short search we found the hide. We added a line.........
Thanks for the hide doobie doo3.

In the area today with Glanville Girls, The Tritonz and wozzle68, we slid our way to GZ. The cache was located in a zip lock bag. We signed the log and added a line. Thanks doobie doo3.
Was out on a mini-mission today to clean up the Drysdale & Clifton Springs area. This one was the third on my radar.
Nice little stroll until I fell down the cliff. Done my back again. Oh well, at least I got the smiley and added my contribution to the story - One guess what it was roughly about
Thanks doobie doo3 for the cache
Log eventually signed & replaced. TFTC & smiley face

Found! A great idea on this cache but it hasn't been updated for awhile. I took the easy route in after given an idea from another cacher where to park. A quick search in the dark after going down the hill and I was onto this one. No container? Wrote my part in the story and placed back where it was found.

Was a nice walk to this cache and not to hard to find. The prickles made it a little hard to get to though.
Bag still hidden out of view with a little camo.
Like the idea of a little extra to the cache.

Sadly this cache has been muggled as contents strewn all around GZ. Put all in bag and carried on the story and stashed the cache. Hope CO can replace container soon. Love the concept TFTC
....of a lovely lady, who was bringing up three very lovely girls. They all had hair of gold, like their mother, the youngest one in curls. (sorry, the title got this song into our heads).
Found on our 2013 Geelong Christmas trip. Missed this one yesterday with suss vulture, so we decided to come back to Drysdale with my uncles and cousins to finish the job off. A quick drive to this beautiful carpark, then a quick walk up the tarmac slope to GZ. Nice views from the top, some cool structures around too. Then an easy 20m scramble down to GZ for a quick find. Than sat for a while in the afternoon sun, continuing on, what seems to be a really weird story (but it was fun). Love the idea of this one, we have found one in Canberra before but the story in this was far more creative. Then a lovely walk on the beach and pier before going off to the next cache. Took TB. Loved the bit of adventure in actually accessing this cache and also the trip into fantasy land to contrive a few words to continue the story. I reckon I have got a plan to fix up the gerbils. Thanks to doobie doo3 for this great cache concept and for bringing me to this lovely piece of coastline.
Was very pleased to find this cache and add my bit. I spend a lot of time writing so I think a cache with a storyline is a fantastic idea! Wish I'd thought of it first
Managed to navigate my way in with minimal exposure to prickles, made the find, took up my best composing pose (well, as good as it could be whilst perched on a log, on a hill, near a bunch of prickly bushes, trying to balance a pad on my leg!! ), read what came before and wrote my piece before returning all to its place and heading back along the beach with only a lingering sense of pity for the poor gerbils!
Thanks doobie doo3!

Well took a bit to find at night until we read the clue. What fun this was reading the story and logs.
Lots of fun negotiating the thorns and the hillside. Wonder if there is an easier way, but in the dark was impossible to tell, so hard way it was. Was fun thinking of a few lines for the story. Tftc and the beautiful area.
I noticed a lot of people had approached this cache from the beach. I approached from a different direction and in hindsight the beach probably would been easier. I think it came down to my choice of footwear for the hill descent. My flat soled sneakers provided no grip what so ever, but with a lot of slipping and sliding I got there in the end. Added my short addition to the story. TFTC doobie doo3 .

Took the kids for a play down the beach and we ended up here. They climbed up the hill while I find the cache and sat down to think. In the end I wasn't happy with what I wrote but it's in pen so it'll have to stay.
Thanks doobie doo3 for the cache. We used to do this type of thing in lectures at Uni.

Couldn't get to GZ due to road works closure. Tried the long way round, but ended up in closed roads due to the new develpments going up. Will try some other time.
Grabbed this little beauty while down visiting my wife's parents who live down in Clifton springs. Happy Easter, cacher types! Did my little bit for the story. Tftc!
This was our 4th cache find in the caching run & we found it at 12:46
So this now makes our total find count 5820.

Wow, Ian nearly went base over apex clambering down the path to grab this cache. Penny wisely stayed up top.

Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Under 2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.

Had an enjoyable walk along to this cache. A neat idea. Took up Littlemerpip's train of thought and who knows - it could turn out to be a masterpiece. TFTC
What a great idea for a cache, was in the area today and had to go grab this one! Parked in the court and found the path between properties onto the nice public grassed area, though I wouldn't mind the views from the houses here! Walked down to GZ without too much trouble though some thistles are getting large and spiky near GZ so watch out if wearing shorts. Found the cache quickly and added a small paragraph to the new story. Thanks to doobie doo3 for this one.
Sorry we misread the description and thought the story was online. While escaping from the cold UK visiting our son in Drysdale we took a walk up here and bagged this

27/10/12 This was found with my caching friend Square Pegs on a day spent exploring the Bellarine Peninsula before returning to Melbourne. It was a great day and we scored a variety of other caches as well visiting areas I've never been to which is what I like about caching. Thanks to the CO for bringing me here today.
This cache was found in the company of abl973 while exploring the Bellarine Peninsula. We made our way down to the beach and then followed the trail up to GZ. This is the second cache of this type that I have found, however the first one was completely full of water so I was never able to read what others had written. This one I enjoyed reading through the previous entries and then adding my own lines to the story. It is such a fantastic idea. Thanks to doobie doo3 for the cache.
Found this fairly easy had a few muggles we had to contend to. Jotted down a line of the book. Feel excited to be an author for a wee bit. Thanks left TB took grand final cup pin.
Tag-along waited while I took on the slippery slope to locate this unique cache.
Love the idea and contributed to the story which now is taking place in Ireland.
Very disappointed to see some of the rude comments by the previous finder just because he had slipped. Felt like removing them too.
Any way I enjoyed the idea and was happy to sign the log after all the rain that you must have had.

Found @ 11:50 on a weekend getaway with the family. The others wanted a beach so we came here to combine visit reasons. The kids played on the beach and I grabbed the cache.
Took sphinx, left shark and trackable, signed log and added my story sentence.

Cache is dry, with a new box and new book! Next finder needs to start a new story, as the previous logbook was basically destroyed by water damage. I will attempt to dry it and transcribe the story here.
When I told jsmyong55 that I was heading down to some night time caching east of Geelong he said he was in. Prior to leaving we worked on a few of the puzzles in the week before we left to make sure we could maximise our finds. I think in the end we ended up with about 45 for the night, so we were very happy with our efforts. In Geelong we met up with a local cacher, Bushfire and his caching stories amused us as we zipped between caches. This was one of the caches found tonight. The cache was open and lying on a path. The log was wet, but we were able to continue the story and rehide in an obvious spot. Thanks doobie doo3 for the cache.

Finally its time for our Geelong night caching run. We had spent some time on preparing for this trip, solving the puzzles beforehand so that we were able to pick them off once we headed down here. We had another local cacher Bushfire come on board with us to do some caching too. He was one that I have had contact with via email but had not met up before. Nice ol' bloke he was. Almost all the caches he has cleared out the already so he left us to do what we came for while he watched. Travelling in between we exchanged stories of caching adventures, some of which are pretty amusing. In the end, we bagged around 45 and headed home tired in the wee hours of the morning.
This was one of our finds that night. Stopped at the nearby parking and saw local fisherman sitting and having a chat. It was really cold by this time. Walked up the hill and down again to GZ. A made the find but it was really wet. We signed the log and continued the story. We hid it back so that it was not so obvious. TFTC

Found at 4.55pmm - Our last for the day on the way to an evening in Clifton Springs visiting friends. This was quickly found as we made our way towards our destination after visiting other friends nearby Had to take the long way to GZ and the easy way up TFTC
One of 37 finds for the night with my good mate Blacklegend (Marshy) during our 2nd Geelong night cache run. We were now making our way along to the Bellarine Peninsula. Parked at the end of Korong Crt and followed the path down to GZ. The terrain was quite steep so we took it easy as we got down to GZ. Found the cache and signed the log. The house there has great views too, wonder what a place like that is worth . . Cool concept for a puzzle as well. Thanks doobie doo3.
One of 37 found on another night caching run with my good mate Marty (Quasar3671) in the Geelong and Bellarine Peninsula area. Quite a steep walk to GZ after we found the way into the small park. TFTC.
Found today and added our bit to this amazing story. Would be nice to see the new story up on the description. Great Fun TFTC TNLN.
A story with a lot of turning points, not as straightforward as accessing this neat hide! We like the idea of cachers adding their own twist to the narration.

Found at 2.30pm. To celebrate our 100th find we wanted a cache that was a bit different, and we found it. We had quite a few laughs reading back through the log book, who knew there were so many great story tellers out there? As we were caching with our 7 & 4yolds, we would recommend people walk along the beach. If you are a bit more adventurous the "high road" and accompanying views are well worth the walk. TFTC
#139 - Great cache! Mr.P went looking for this one as Ms.L rather went to the beach to take photos of the beautiful scenery. As he is the writer of the family, he really enjoyed adding his bit to the story .
#124 for the juc_cachers, found at about 14:00 today after a moderately successful day's fishing out from the Clifton Springs boat ramp. Thank goodness for the ubiquitous flasthead, or we'd have gone home empty handed ! After a 6am start, we arrived at the Torquay ramp to discover conditions a bit ugly, so we sought the shelter of the bay. I'd spotted this one on the map as we approached, but we were too keen to get on the water. Afterwards though, while the skipper secured the boat on the trailer and readied it for the trip home, I scuttled off down the beach, made the quick find and logged the discovery. No muggles in the area today and a stealthy approach from the beach. I'd been thinking up a few options for my addition to the story so I added checked the gist of the previous entries, added the most appropriate bit to the story and was back at the ramp in no time. Cache seems in good condition. TNLNSL Thanks for the cache !
Made last minute treck over to this side of the bay to pick up a solved mystery cache that Hazey1 and I had been working on and decided to find a few of the local traditionals while we were here.
Didnt get going till after 5pm and ended up back home at 11:45pm, Still, enjoyed out brief looksie at the area but would like to see it all again in the daylight!.
