Bummer
Must have fried a few of the snakes in that burn also!
How dare the BFB not check for innocent caches before burning! :->

OH DEAR. Sad but true the cache has been cremated in what looks like a controlled burn off. A few bits and pieces remain like the spine of the log book, the little ceramic pig, solder wick and a bit of melted blue plastic. Sorry everyone but that how it goes. I had left it down as several people had asked me to leave it for a while. My intention was to retreive it this week and turn it into another feature. Looks like I will have to find another place for the next one.

The Fathers Day Cache is dead, all that's left are charred remains of a garden gnome.
Looks like a burn-off in the last week or so.
A minutes silence as the caching world mournes the loss

I will visit the site ASAP. A gnome. There are no mentions of a gnome in any of the logs but we will see. I am sorry you missed it as it was one of my largest. I think I put about 20 items in it.
Fathers day been and gone but not this cache. A bit scrubby but a good cache.
Another high quality !!Snifter!! cache with spot-on co-ords. Nice one.
We of course chose the wrong way into the cache and were ran out of there by a large snake. Back in the car and a re-plot put us right on the track for an easy walk in.
Lots of Sydney Redgums to hug
Took footy and cable ties, left solder wick and torch with batteries.

We headed north and so we where able to visit Fathers Day on the way. We could not hear ourselves with all the noise from the cockatoos and lorikeets. We think it should be renamed the Tardis due to the deceptive size of the cache. Well done, Snifter, lots of interesting goodies swapped a little box for a friction powered toy 4WD.
Nice cache and lots of good stuff!
A baby bushrat ran off ahead and saw it.
We took the 2 packets of celebrations and left a packet of microvaveble popcorn, a packet of pez and 2 dollars for a fathers day scratchie.

Well hidden too. Exchanged some traditional fathers day items for some sweets and a coffee mug.HAPPY FATHERS DAY

G1, Arfa and Stawg found it, in the dark (just minutes to midnight. Went very close several times before it's position was apparent. Great pressies Snifter! Put in a few goodies, took the idiot's puzzle (an all yellow rubiks cube!). Another beaut spot, wonder what it looks like in daylight?
10:14 pm The Ginger Loon strikes again!! Took about 20 mins to find this in the dark, with dogs a-barking and the twigs a-snapping underfoot. Thanks snifter for putting this in, just in time for The Ginger Loon to celebrate his 1st fathers day as a recipient (the Loonette is 5 mths old). In keeping with the fathers day tradition I swapped in a golf ball and a box of tees and swapped out some Shower Fresh (couldn't resist something called Orange Fizz) and the World's Greatest Dad stubby holder. There's plenty more where that came from, so go get 'em dads...
