It does look like we will need to rethink this cache. Why would anyone remove the light pole???
Good Day,
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Looking forward to hearing from you,

No luck with this one. Looks like a significant lightpole is being repaired/replaced. 5
I found this it was a very smart idea I didn’t log myself because I didn’t have an account yet I was with other people
Couldn’t find this one! I could easily have missed it but right where the coordinates were there’s been some recent earthworks.

We reached the Hervey bay, the northernmost Australian city on our trip. Hooray! Unfortunately, that means it's time to get going south again. So we had a short walk around the beach, pretty much deserted at this time of a year. Next, we went for a quick visit to the Rainbow beach, Cooloola and headed for a night to Peach Trees camp near Jimna. It was a great day, and it just happened that a huge rainfall caught us around the Fraser Island. Lucky we didn't plant a trip to the island, it might not have been pleasant. Maybe next time!
Thanks for the cache!

Beautiful part of the world. I'm not used to everyone saying good morning to me as they walk past. TFTC.
Quick find, our second cache in Australia and the log is a Red Rooster receipt! Tftc.
Arrived here yesterday and all I can say is wow. Had to head out early to check out the place and grab a couple of caches. Saw this one as we approached. Grabbed it and it’s lid is missing. Unfortunately I didn’t have a replacement. Tftc.

The kids and grandkids were up for Christmas. The first week was at Hervey Bay.
When we were here scouting the area for sommewhere to stay, there was a large amount of work going on the foreshore near here. Austrees wanted to see the result. We walked to the area, had some time before the young'uns met us, so this cache was nearby. An easy find with the hint

Great easy find... We forgot our pen so needed to do the touristy thing which led to the purchase of hats, pen, souvenirs and breaky. Lol. Back to gz and wrote in log. Placed back in spot not so visible but still a quick find. .. Tftc
Over night in Byron and luckily we could find another cache. So far we have been able to at every over night stop on our trip from Sydney. Together w Haze64. Tftc!
Since in Australia the sun is raising very early we spent this morning to search for same caches. Greetings from a german cache team on vacation.

Went to the Queensland for 10 day's, landing on the Goldcoast, picking up a car rental. We spent the first 4 days staying in a nice hotel in Surfers paradise, doing all the Theme parks and some caching... While at the theme parks we got to pat Dolphins, feed Tigers etc. Then we headed up to Australia Zoo, where we booked a Tiger wall, Which was amazing, after the day at the zoo, we headed to Harvey bay, for 4 day's before heading back to the Goldcoast to return car, and catch flight home. Really loved the new Lego store at Dreamworld, went back 3 times.Tftc
Yeaahh found it...but very high up there ...we put him a little bit lower...tftc...
Found with Zapcyril on a weekend away. The log book is full and we didn’t have any spare paper with us so have uploaded a pic of the log instead of signing the log. TFTC
Found at 1450.
A quick stop from my bike ride and I spotted the cache in seconds.
All good here except the logsheet has only room for one more signature.
