Pitstop to grab some numbers I saw that GZ was only a few km away. Not knowing when I would return I thought I would go for it although hesitant with no reception. Thankfully no issues cache located and signed time for a second lunch.

Found by Aussie Train Driver 22/01/2024, find number 1756.I was travelling North a few days ago and obtained the final coordinates and made plans to find this one on my return to Melbourne. After heading to GZ I made a quick find in a beautiful rural location. TFTC.

JTreeTrack2 was out and about with Mr Dromaniax and the company of our Muggle parents. They Thoroughly enjoyed the trip, the sites, the effort gone in to placing caches in fascinating areas and places. The caches that we came across were all in good condition and were signed and returned as found. Thankyou to all the effort that has gone into placing the cache. Sorry for the generic log, my logging has 7 months of unloved. Thanks again for placing this cache.

25-Sep-23
I was out and about with JTreeTrack2 and our parents, and this was day number two. We decided to take Mum and Dad away for a trip down memory lane, and while out and about, we were picking up some caches along the way.We spent two days travelling around the central North region of Victoria and had some fantastic weather. All caches we found were in excellent condition unless otherwise noted.Thank you, Team Megradel, for this Multicache.

After working out the new Z we set off on the 7.0km round trip to a quick find. What if any is the significance of the hiding spot??

20-Apr-23
Not sure what I did wrong here, I double checked my numbers, but the GZ seemed to be on private property. My phone reception wasn't great either, but 85m from the roadside wasn't correct. Oh well, never mind.

A great find in a peaceful place, internet connection dropping in ad out but got it in the end... TNLN TFTC

The local history is always better than the factual history.

The kids were keen to get out of the car, and Zade needed a huge nappy change here. So onto the grass it was then counting and doing some maths.

At the final it was a great place for them to have a play while I searched and searched. Read past logs, extended the radius and lo and behold you beauty.

Thanks for the final, enjoyed this one.

29-Mar-22
Great little offset even though it sent me back in the direction i had come from. Tftc

The long weekend is upon us and after organising to pick something up from Strathmerton Saturday morning, I checked the map before hand and here is a place that I have not visited before which was Moulamein.
I guy I work with stayed here in January and recommend that it was worth a visit.
So after detouring via Conargo to see if the pub has finished being rebuilt (not open yet) I arrived at my destination.
After touring around Moulameinand spending a great night in my cabin at the pub that overlooked the Edwards River it was on to my next destination Lake Boga then Kerang as it was the only accomodation that I could find.
I was taking the less travelled roads which usually meant dirt roads but that was fine by me and then the bitumen.
After spending the night in the pub it was time to head towards home, went for a walk around the the Loddon River and Levee bank then now to head south again.
Now who’s story do I believe the first one or the second one.
The escaping bears has a better ring to it.
Worked out what was required so headed off to GZ.
I love these back roads away from all of the traffic.
Soon came across a large cache and added my name to the log.

Thanks The Morris and Team Megradel TFTC.

07-Dec-21
With the group camp now all wrapped up and the last stragglers having left I was now on my own. I set off today for a drive around the neighbouring areas and grabbed a couple of caches along the way.

I arrived at the posted coordinates and made quick work of the details required. The final was to be later on in my loop around the area so I left it for the return journey.

Arriving at GZ I took a look on a few spots before widening my circle and the large cache appeared.

Thanks Team Megradel for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

25-Aug-21
Travelling home to regional Victoria, stopping for short breaks from driving during the day and finding isolated camps as we get closer to home. We do enjoy a multi cache and figured this might be a suitable lunch spot. After a short detour to sign the cache we decided to drive a bit further for lunch. Thanks so much for a generous sized cache and another brief caching distraction on our unusual journey home.

15-Aug-21
Sadly even the sign proclaiming Bears Lagoon has disappeared since I lived north of here. Collected the information and enjoyed the short diversion to the cache. A favourite point here TFTC The Morris

Find No. 3100. Found at 2.08pm.

A public holiday so we decided to go for a drive in the van with geodog Penny on board to find the caches in this area that we still had left to find.
A nice quick and easy multi to work out, just off the main road. After putting the final co-ords into the GPS we were lucky to find the cache was in the direction we were going and that we didn't have to double back.

Suscoe was working our way homewards today.
We had enjoyed a few days caching around the Kerang region.
We decided to take a slightly longer way home to find a few more caches and to enjoy some new countryside.
Thanks to Team Megradel for this multi.

We sorted the GZ location last Monday on the trip north. It was nice to find this on our way home today.
This was our last find for this 7 day trip to the Kerang region.
It has been lots of fun and we have found some terrific geocaches on our travels.
Time to head for home in a serious manner now.

A nice multi that took us in the complete wrong direction LOL. Who travels in straight lines on the geo trail anyway? All is well with the cache.

I said to Muggle Hubby this morning, as we left St Arnaud after the Mega, that I didn’t care which way we went home as long as it was past a large cache, as I needed that type for a challenge.
He obliged and we were delighted to find it, then I suggested another, not far out of our way at Serpentine, and lo and behold there’s another Brownlow Medal one by our friends Aussie Fun Seakers so we’d better get that one too, so we did! Thanks! Now we can go home.
But, there’s a very interesting shearing shed just up this road I’d like to see, so we did, and found the cache there too. Thankyou for bringing us here.
And there’s another just up the same road, so he was most obliging.
Look, a little cemetery cache not far away too.
What a sad little tombstone memorial. Thanks The Morris for placing a cache there to bring it to our attention.
It was almost Unbearable! Speaking of which, a short diversion would bring us to another large cache, could we go there?
Of course we could, and did, and thanks so much for the well stocked large cache.

A good tale to read Big Grin
I prefer to believe option 'A' Smile
There's a bear out there !! [:o]
Or maybe two Big Grin

And after clawing at the coords,
I headed out there to find the cache Razz
In the rain and freezing cold wind,
I couldn't help but think that the suspects might have been polar bears Smile

First look didn't go well !! [:o]
I retreated back to the geomobile while the worst of the rain passed by.
Back at GZ,
I widened the search,
and found this bear in an obvious place Big Grin

TFTC.

It sure is well stocked !!

We came to the area with Locus Cache today to find three FTF's and after that job was done we looked around for what else we could find and came across this interesting cache. The information was gathered and then a short drive to find the final. We found a container full of wonderful swag suitable for children, this is great to see. SL TFTC

In the area on my way home after visiting Kerang for training with the local Vicses crew.
Didn't find at the numbers I had come up with, but after expanding my search area I had the log soon stamped.
Cheers for the cache.

This year our plan was to spend our "summer vaction" in Australia.
So arriving on the 7th November we took over the campervan and started our tour from Sydney to Adelaine. On that tour we found a lot of caches. This was one of it.

Thank's a lot to all CO's that placed and maintain the caches here in "Down Under".

Another targeted cache as I cached my way back home after the weekend in St. Arnaud. Things may have been truly unbearable if I hadn't nticed that I had parked over an ant's nest. Well, even in the minute I was stationary I still managed to attract a traveller that I dealt with later.
Cache was found soon after and well hidden.

A road trip up to St. Arnaud for the standard trio of events plus a bonus event on the Sunday. I hadn't made it up last year and I was looking forward to the new series (including night cache) plus the socialising.
Well Tyred'n'Cranky and FUF009 didn't disappoint. I had a great time at the events and the caches comprising each year's series were of the standard that attracts so many caching teams to this small country town annually. I only wish I had had more time to appreciate them as I was on a bit of a mission to find at least fifty for the day on the Saturday which meant minimal time at each one observing the quality of the metal work. Next year, with any luck, will be different.

A cache I have driven past many times before. I have always been in too much of a rush to make this find on my previous visits, This time I was with my boss and we were already accepted that we were on target to hit Melbourne right on peak hour which meant we weren't in any hurry. After collecting the info I accidently wrote one of the digits in the wrong spot and had us a fair way from GZ. After a lengthy search without luck I rechecked the numbers and realised my mistake. From there it was a short drive to a much more likely GZ. The cache was soon found in excellent condition. Its certainly great to see a cache so well maintained after all these years TFTC

Find #1636 for me. Found after work at 8:20 pm. I'm so glad I made the trip up north to get a few caches in the area this evening! It was just perfect with the sound of birds squawking as I arrived at GZ and the sun setting in the west adding a wonderful touch, so I delayed my search to take some photos and just enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. After the sun disappeared below the horizon I made a quick find of this nice large container which was in great condition and full of good quality swaps which I left alone since my kids weren't with me. Too bad for them! This was my last find for the day since the sunlight was no more and I'm not one for caching the dark. Thanks for bringing me to these two wonderful locations (waypoint and GZ) this evening The Morris, and thanks for the cache!

What a delightful spot for a cache! Thanks for bringing us here. So peaceful! I found coordinates were about 13m off, but there's a very logical place not far away. In fact I headed here first the followed the GPS. TFTC

*7/5/17, Found @ 6:10 pm, Find # 6664.*

Off on a weekend road trip to Swan Hill, going the long way on my 1400km adventure to pick up a few new LGA's along the way as well as a few caches of interest.
The time has come to head for home but there were still caches to find along the way.
I was going passed the start of this one so I stopped and gathered the required information, shortly after I had the final GZ.
I had a look where it was, a little out of the way but not too bad so I headed off in search of this cache.
I arrived at the GZ area and headed over, a short time later I had found the cache, a little smaller than I was expecting but it was found.

**Thanks to The Morris for placing this cache.**

We got the numbers sorted and headed for GZ to find the well concealed cache neatly hidden. A pretty spot too. Thanks for the multi The Morris. Found today with The Lookabouts and Traveling butterfly.

08-Apr-17
We gathered all our information , giving us a likely set of coordinates, which turned out to be a very pretty spot. Unfortunately the rain had finally caught up to us and we searched in vain in the rainRazz
Our devices were really all over the place but eventually MrT's zeroed in on a more likely position, where with a lot of scratching the good sized cache was revealed. Thanks The Morris for bringing us here to this nice spot and for the cache.

Nice final location. So many cool camping spots out this way!

Today I cached Wedderburn and surrounds with The Tritonz and Wozzle68. We had a fabulous day exploring the area and finding a great variety of hides. So many creative hides! Many thanks

I think we were all just a bit tired by the end of the day and had somewhere lost our caching mojo [)] Red Face
We did get 1 FTF though, to brighten our journey Cool

We're off on another family geocaching holiday! The geofamily: Geoparents = moneydork and tounga, geosis = locus cache and myself. Another raid into Mexico and that other state to the north of Mexico. The car was loaded and we were set off on the long road east. Who knows what adventure we would be in for this trip. Today Geodad had us all over the place but the underlying theme of fun and maniacal murders remained with the family all day long.

Geosis had some final coords for this cache. She was still beating around the bush when geodad says 'this what you're looking for?'

Normally I do multi's the proper way but at this time of night a smilie is a smilie.

Thanks for the cache The Morris.

Finally found this cache. After getting the required coordinates many months/years ago I finally had time this morning to take the slight detour off my route and mark this cache off my to do list. Wonderful well stocked cache too. TFTC

Found on our way back to Bendigo after the Wedderburn event. Interesting name, which we used to wonder about years ago (BG) on our way to the Square Dancing in Swan Hill.
The cache was a little exposed so we rehid it again just so it would not get noticed.
Thanks for the cache The Morris

Read the interesting information at the start point gaining the required numbers while there. Headed to GZ and was intercepted by a friendly and garrulous local muggle. Ran out of time to complete this so more of a DNFinish rather than a DNFind. Will be back but don't know when Thanks for highlighting this air race

Pro: This was a large, well stocked cache

Con: I have had the song "Running Bear" going through my head for the past few hours.

An easy to solve multi took me a few clicks down the road to a large, well-stocked cache. TFTC

Initially, as usual, I did my maths BAD! We headed off to be near a Piggery (with the expected pong - no offence meant to the Piggery Owners of course). "Plod have you mucked up the sums again!?" I cussed to myself. Yes, again. A re-check with stronger glasses with new co-ordinates obtained and surprise, surprise (as Gomer Pyle would say - who is Gomer Pyle, well if you are over 50 you'll know, sadly) there was the cache as promised in the caching notes. Still, always good fun and another enjoyable caching experience provided by 'The Morris'. Found with 'The Comrades'. TNLN.

10.13 AM,

Today is day one of my epic journey from home in Melbourne to Alice Springs in NT via the Flinders Ranges is SA. It is not purely a caching holiday, but I still hope to pick up quite a few caches on the way. Day one, home to Mildura.

After finding the nearby serpentine cemetery I decided I would backtrack the few kms to find this cache as it may be a while until I am back in this area again. Nice easy find, I love these sort of container, thanks again to the Morris for the cache. Tnln.

There was some plan on jetskiing this multi, but due to a malfunction with some technology, and a slight disagreement between driver and navigator (children, children!) we almost did it as written. Smile

Almost unbearably frustrating when we collected the clues and drove halfway to GZ only to find the road under rather a lot of water. The Geomazda hasn't learned to swim yet, despite a few paddling lessons in the Flinders Ranges recently, so we turned around and left this one for another time. BTW, It's not the Murray Valley Highway, it's the Loddon Valley Highway.

09-Apr-10
Heading through with the kids thought we would break the boring trip to Kerang up by finding a few caches, really enjoyed this multi, thanxs.

Took rubber snake, left wrist band.

17-Mar-10
Last night found wp1 and write down the final coords - today went there and confuse me so return back to the car check the maths to see if I am error but not so read previous comment so back search - finally found the cache - 16 mts away from GZ. No swap. SL. Thanks The Morris for organising the cache and hunt.

27-Dec-09
Well, got the info we needed and headed off to find the cache.
After having a look at GZ, we could not work out where you would hide a "LARGE" cache, as per the cache page listing.
After reading a few of the past logs we determined that the coords may be out...so we widened our search area to see what we could come up with...and yep, they were out by about 10m.
We think this listing should be changed to reflect that the cache size is only a REGULAR and not a LARGE as this affects the way you search for the cache.
According to GC guidelines a Regular is a (plastic container or ammo can about the size of a shoebox).
Did the swap thing and signed log.

28-Nov-09
Found by Team Ladava on our way to Swan Hill for a family get together.
To be more specific, we did the initial groundwork for this one about 12 months ago on a similar trip but declined to backtrack to GZ at the time.
This time we headed off the highway and found the magnificently cache with it's incredible stock of goodies quite quickly.
While we were busy signing the log our white dog wandered off and found a very muddy and smelly puddle in the creek to wade in so it was not very popular for the rest of the trip.
As a matter of interest I think the highway is not the Murray Valley Highway at all although there is a story that you are not alone in this misconception as a road crew were sent out the replace a bridge x number of kms from Kerang on the Murray Valley Highway and so a perfectly good bridge was replaced rather than the one in poor condition on the other highway toward Cohuna.
TNLN
Our thanks to The Morris for yet another very enjoyable cache.
Cheers
Team Ladava

We stated this one on our way up to Swan Hill and finished it on our way home, some interesting history on this one. Even after the resent rain the creek still looked rather dry. Thanks to The Morris for the cache.

Found way back at Easter, but a few problems got in the way of logging. I have travelled this road so many times and remember stories from Dad about the Bears. However, the stories we now remember are which kid didn't get car sick before Bears Lagoon. Caching the Calder and Loddon HWYs makes for great stops for the little ones. T4TC TNLN but memories.
