As there's been no cache to find for some time, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Maybe in the long wet grass and at no landmarks but I wasn't going to search it all.
Dnf must be very well hidden among the grass. Didnt have heaps of time to look so will try again later on
Up for the Weekend, so it would be rude to not get at least 1 in. A nice quick find. Then back to the BBQ.

Took a few minutes to find, hight didn't make a difference! Found as part of a road trip to Oamaru over Queens Birthday weekend. Thanks for the hide.
It was a nice wonder around some of the walkway. We are on our way down to the Botanical Garden Below so grabbed this one on the way passed with the whole family.Very well hidden so no chance of it going missing.Tftc
Found this neat cache during the 2012 Mega Event. Apologize to the CO for the late log but issue's have had us put some things on hold for a while.

Decided to go down to Dunedin to attended the first ever Mega in New Zealand and my first ever MEGA. Managed to work it out so that I was able to team up with -gonefishing-, fozzmiester and agcnz on an 9 day caching trip around the South Island, this was day 7 of the road trip. Today we were making our way form Oamaru to Timaru for the night and picking up a few caches on our way and it was another beautiful fine day.
After finding GC3BR0Y - E. Cordata (North Otago), this was the next cache that we had on our list to find today. The walk to GZ didnt take too long as we making our way around this area in an orderly manner and as we neared GZ, reading the description. As we neared GZ, our GPSr started pointing us to a spot that looked promising and we soon spotted something that required a closer inspection, and we soon realised that it was the cache.
Now how the heck are we going to get into this cache, lucky for us we had managed to bring along with us the TOTT and we had the prefect tool to help us get into the cache. All geocacher never leave home without their Geocaching tools.
Managed to retrieve the cache, signed and then replaced the cache back where I found it. Thanks drawp for placing this cache here and for bringing me to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (5236). Another quick and easy find here today, glad that we managed to find it quickly. I was glad that I was able to finally find this cache and turn the to a .
We were glad that we were getting around the Skyline quickly, now how far is the next cache, oh yes just over there, this is 13 of 15 caches to find up here .

Found as part of an epic NZ Mega Event trip. Day 7 - Oamaru and surrounds before heading North to Timaru in the company of agcnz, -gonefishing- and Yeetrees. Thanks to the owners of the 500 + caches which I had the pleasure to find along the way and which contributed to a very fun trip.

Found on the great post-Mega roadtrip with agcnz, fozzmiester and yeetrees. A great trip from Otago to Wellington, taking in many backroads and some fantastic scenery along to way to over 400 caches. Thanks to all the cache owners for the great caches we found on the way.
Thanks for the cache, Bitsprayer.

Came here with fozzmiester, -gonefishing- and Yeetrees on on a morning's caching around Oamaru. The cache was found quickly - sgned log, TFTC!
Nice Hide. I passed right over it before checking a little closer and made the find.
Grabbing a few caches in the area while passing through, on our 'how ever long it takes' NZ tour.
Thanks for setting this up.

So. I walked several kilometers today. Up and down the hills of Oamaru. Found a lot of caches. Some very cleverly hidden, some very tiny and some at kinda obvious places. And the biggest container of the tour managed to remain unfound. I am not amused.
But, Sir Bitsprayer, I salute you for the very fine caches! Very well done! Way to go!
TFTC and TFTH for all the caches!

The lesson here? Never give up. We took Archie, so that he can find a new home in the States!
A DNF with YuGeo4, we took the wrong track in but managed to get to GZ without any major issues, BUT once there check some likely spots where we thought the cache should be but no-one home, oh well may try again next time.
Found on the way to Cape Canaveral. Brrrrr. Very cold up here today with snow obviously falling on the cloud topped hills to the south.
Actually set out to try to solve the puzzle cache Cape C and got to the first stage but thought I had more chance of finding this one whilst in the area. After following a high electric fence for a while I was able to cross and then walk back and sign the log in this cache. Continued the walking track and then the trek back to the cachemobile, a great area for a good view of the town on a nice day.
Thanks

Easy find when you get closer. Steepish walk but refreshing.Pity the land owner hasn't got rid of the nodding thistles just over the bridge. TNLN TFTC
Could not find cache on first visit. Took Mrs drawp back on a second sortie and she easily found it. TFTC
Nice hide. This is a good example of how a 'cacher line' certainly isn't always the best way to get there. It was certainly an interesting trip getting in though, and a few roads on the free autorouting GPS maps got fixed up in the process of finding the way in. Also interesting to see how few logs this cache gets compared to others locally.
TNLN, Thanks.
TNLN, Thanks.
Came at this one from the northwest, by the observatory. There might be closer access points, but I had a lovely walk with great views. Nicely hidden cache, with plenty of red herrings nearby!! Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1398)
2281. Found a good access point and went for a walk along the skyline path to this cache. There were really good early morning views.

Did this one around 7pm in the evening and found OK, rather confused that the owner replaced it the next day?
Very good hide.

I must have sat on it last time I was here. This time I had the right cache page and didn't climb inside the thorn bush - found the cache very quickly once I'd decided on that path!!!!
We must have walked most of this walkway now. Pleased to see the thistles and nettles on the path have been sprayed as there are heaps of them.

Was on the way home when I managed to get some wireless interent coverage for a few minutes. Quickly copied down the co-ordinates for this one and "Camo man", briefly read the descriptions and then lost coverage.
Arrived at these co-ordinates and thought I was doing "Camo Man" - Prickly situation indeed!!! (Even though it was pitch dark I can assure you it is possible to get right inside the big thorn bush here)
Ah well, all's fun in the world of night caching!

Did "Bird's Eye View" then crossed the road to the other side of the walkway and did this one. By the entrance on Eden Street we spotted the ute that was being driven by the guy who abused us in the Oamaru Cemetery while caching a few months back (I never forget a rego number!)
We were hoping to be first. After a climb up thro' thistles it a find after a bit of a hunt. We were tired that's our excuse.
Saw this one come up before leaving Christchurch. Hoping to be FTF was first stop on arrival. Who should spot us parking up but the owner. You're going the wrong way - the start of the walkway is back that way, he said but we took no notice and braved the pickly thistles and went up the step hill to the cache. Didn't look carefully enough in the most obviuos place and eventually came back to it. Left Big Z TB
