What an absolutely great location, great friends and great day - looking forward to next year's do already.
Great day. Good to catch up with several who we haven't seen since last year's Get Together and several who we know by name but have never met before. Much Thanks to the organisers, who did a fantastic job.
A fantastic day was had by us at this very well planned out event day. I think that this would have to go down as the biggest Vic event ever.
A huge thanks to the organisers one and all for the effort that was put into this day/weekend. We had a ball and it was a great way for us to get back into some full on caching.
Shepparton really does set some high standards and should be the place new cachers go to learn how its done.

Good to be here and see a few old friends again. Didn't get to talk to as many as I'd like though before they all shot off caching. I suppose I should have arrived earlier.
Still great day indeed. Thanks to the organisers.

Well I must apologise for the late log with this one as it has taken my parents this long to create a user name for me. Gee, didn't they use their combined imagination as well! My very first event which is not bad for someone who is 3 days old!
Had a great time, thanks to the Shepparton Teams for the time and effort that went into it.
What a great day and a fantastic weekend of events, caching, trivia and drinking. Cdmark, Team GraMon and Team Rubik should be congratulated with an award for what maybe the largest cache gathering to date, plus with Shepparton hospitality of clever caches, and a fun trivia night made this a special weekend to which one should feel privileged to be a part of.
The day was full of meeting new geocachers, caching stories, group assaults and some fun games. Speaking of games there was a treasure hunt with some great coins for prizes and yours truly summoned my alter ego “Captain Caffeine†to take me over the finish line in first place. It seems the teams from Berwick are always prepared for the cache chase and the saying “we breed em fast in Berwick†lived true to its name with 3 of the 4 prizes being awarded to Berwick cachers.
Again our thanks to Team Rubik, Team GraMon and Cdmark for a truly professional, fun, excellent weekend, lets hope this becomes an annual event.
Regards Mr.Coffee and the “Captain Caffeine in Orange to the rescue†Clan.

How good was this…. What a great day weather was fine and it was great to see so many people there took Mum, Dad, Jeff and Alice who all enjoyed the afternoon
Wow,, a big thanks to all those involved in organising this event, definatley a job well done.
It was great to be able to finally put some faces with names too.
Thanks again, and i definatley will be keeping my eyes peeled for any more caching events.

Attended with Highrod and GeoJess(woof)
Thanks to the Shepparton Cachers for a great lunch and an excuse to go to Shep to do some caching and try out our new old caravan! We had a great time and it was good to catch up with freinds old and new!

We travelled down south with 2 other Wagga teams to test ourselves in these tricky hides. The Event venue was as great as everyone else has said & looks like a lot of fun for all the kids. We mingled and chatted & then watched the races when predictably Mr Coffee in his bright orange secret weapons had to take out a prize. Then it was off for a few more caches before the evening Event. Excellent work by the local teams made it a great time for all.
Took vest and left stamp's on a few cachers.
Thanks heaps to the locals for an absolutely excellent get together.
Roostaman.

Thanks to all involved in the organisation of possibly the largest gathering in Victoria. The venue was perfect especially for Emily and the people were great. Myself and Emily had a great time, once again. Thank you again.

I thoroughly enjoy these events and after failing to get to the last three or so was keen to get to this one. Naturally I was not disappointed. Lots of good people with lots to talk about - always a good recipe. There was good caching to boot and the weather held beautifully too. Major thanks to Team Rubik, cdmark and Team Gramon for the location and organisation - well done.
GeoJnr had a bit of a late start to this one as the cdmark team were not sure how that would juggle the event, a hospital pickup and 2 GeoJnrs! All went well and there was a change of members after lunch with D and Tilly heading home and GeoJnr able to come for a bit of a run around after spending the morning placing a new cache with assistance of his Uncle and Aunt. As usual he enjoyed the playground and was most excited that the train was running today.
Well! After all the hard work and planning both events in Shepparton went very well and by the feedback we received on the day, it is safe to say that all who attended on the day and night had a great time, even the kids! We were really appreciative of the distances that many of the cachers travelled to attend. The response was fantastic. It was also great to see new cachers as well and they were made more than welcome by those that have been caching a bit longer.
I would also like to thank Team GraMon and Team Rubik for there hard work in the preparation stages and also assisting on the day, The Morris for arranging "The Race to Denmark", Mary from "Maccamob" for being roped into an unofficial admin role on the day, and also the many baby sitters we had for our new bub Tilly during both events, particularly a certain member of the Partic team! I would also like to commend my wife, Dianne, for being being discharged this morning at 11:00am from hospital and attending both events...amazing stuff.
I found the site of convoys of geocaching mobiles with GPS hanging from their windscreens very amusing as I drove around late yesterday afternoon doing some late maintenance on a few caches.
Thank you also to the many cachers that found our hides in and around the area. I really enjoy reading the logs and the feedback. It really is much appreciated.
Till next time. Cheers.

Thanks to all the organisers for a great day and good to meet so many new cachers - especially Tilly. You can't get into geocaching much earlier in your life.
Many thanks to the organisers, an interesting day!

Mary & David were there as part of perhaps the largest gathering of cachers yet in Victoria. Our own Get Together started last night when we met up with a few familar faces at one of the local caravan parks, and a wine or three naturally followed. We had been to the Event venue many years ago with our own kids and it was a dekight to see such community involvement. A perfect place for a large gathering with such great facilities for all ages. Mary enjoyed helping out with the name tags for the various teams as they arrived and getting to meet them in the process. Superb sunshine, happy families, and the public debut for Miss Tilly. Great to see so many new faces, the Wagga contingent, and so many wonderful old friends again. Enjoyed some lunch from Mrs Crackers, and a lunchtime glass. In hysterics watching the races, and the happy faces all around. We somewhat reluctantly left to pick up a few more caches before the evening Event. Glad this looks like becoming an annual Event - where to next year? Our thanks to the organisers cdmark, Team GraMon and Team Rubik for their excellent preparations.
A really lovely location and a well organised get together. Thank you to Rubik, team Gramon and cdmark for the organising
Attended with Mrs Fred, Baby & Mrs Gopher and Roostaman and Mrs Roostaman. Had a great time, met a lot of great people and picked up some caches as a bonus during a terrific weekend.
Attended between 10.10am to around 2.00pm. What a great turn out! Great weather, well organised and a good location. We were able to meet up with most of the attendies and have a quick chat - once again it's astonishing how easy it is to start an instant conversation with cachers that you have never met before. Great fun.
We were also pleased to be able to take advantage of this event by making it into a long weekend with lots of friends each night around the caravans. Thanks to cdmark, Team Rubik, and Team GraMon for your efforts - we all aprreciated them very much.

What a great event. Once again great to catch up with the usual suspects but even more delightful to see new faces. Thanks for a tremendous day and event. Thanks to "Team Crackers" for looking after me and to "Full on Phil" for his company.
A very hearty thank you to cdmark, Team Rubik and Team GraMon for organising what may turn out to be the biggest event in Victoria. The site was perfect for both adults and kids as was the weather. Everyone there seemed to have a fantastic time, just simply catching up and comparing old 'war' stories. As with most events we did not get around to talking with everybody who attended although we did try. The special competitions, multiple teams and safety vests were fantastic. We were fortunate enough to win one of these races, even if our representative wasn't aware that she had volunteered!! We would like to congratulate the other winners and contestants. After the event we headed off to pick up some of the excellent local caches before catching up with everyone once again at the trivia night.
We were going to meet up with Feathertop and do a couple of caches along the way before the event as we had the times mixed up and thought it was on a lot later, I had a quick look at the cache page in the morning and realised what time it was on and told feathertop we couldnt make it to the caches, so I went to hook up the caravan for the first time to the Pajero and realised the lights cable was too short and all the shops were closed for Anzac day so I had to solder and extension to the existing cable so it would reach, lucky for us there were a lot of cachers attending and thefore was still going by the time we finally arrived and were able meet and greet for a little while. Thanks cdmark, Team Rubik, and Team Gramon for the event as we still had a good time....
My kick-start to 2 1/2 days of great caches and great people, a weekend I will remember from long-time.
A welcome opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new ones.
The bar has once again been raised for the Central Victorian town who hosts next year's event.
I don't think I can add anything else that others haven't mentioned here, what a fantastic day!
A huge congratulations to the organisers for their choice of location, activities, and putting on one of the best events I've ever been to. I was informed of some of the behind the scenes work that you all got up to over the last few weeks (and into the wee hours of the morning) to make the day run like clockwork.
Looking forward to next Anzac Day already.

With great trepidation we ventured onto the location of this our first Event Cache. Our caution was totally unfounded as we were warmly welcomed into the Caching Clan. What a great days gathering of like minds. Thanks to all the oldies that made us newies so welcome. It was great to put faces to names we have seen in logs over the past year, this being the first anniversary of our starting this addictive game.
We can only reiterate the thoughts of other loggers and offer our thanks and appreciation to cdmark, Team Rubik, Team GraMon and all their helpers for putting on such a pleasurable activity.

Facitman, Mrs Facit, e-facit and s-facit all traveled up the Hume to attend this terrific event. We arrived around 11:00 and enjoyed meeting up with other cachers as well as sneaking away for a few finds. Lunch, more chats and then a great afternoon caching.
Thanks cdmark, Team Rubik and Team GraMon for a great time in Shepparton!

Such a well organised event thanks guys. I have never seen so many people come from so far and the weather and venue were perfect. Thanks also for putting out just enough caches to persude us to stay a few days and pump some tourist dollars into the rural economy! Had a great time.
It was wonderful to get together with everyone again and catch up.
Thank you for organising the event.
Thank you for organising the event.
Well done to the organisers of the event - GraMon, Rubik and cdmark. Your efforts are much appreciated.
I think that everyone that had attended the event had enjoyed themselves, we certainly did. This was our first event and I can say I was impressed with the numbers that had attended from around the state, and interstate.
It was good to finally put some faces behind some of the logs. We met quite a few people, and even more out in the feild.
Overall a great experience with good company and some quality caching around Shep, hope to return soon to bag a few more that we didn`t have time to attempt.
Cheers. Darren and Joy.

Great to catch up with fellow cachers, especially those we haven't seen since last year's event in Bendigo.
Big thanks to Team Rubik, cdmark and Team Gramon for organising and financing a great get together.

Naturally I attended my own event! Thanks to all those who came along and made the day so much fun. We were thrilled with the positive response we got and are glad so many had a great day. I'm looking forward to some early nights now.
Thanks to Corey, Di, Mon and Bully for shouldering the bulk of the organising; to Robyn of The Morris for organising so many coins for us!; and to Mary of Maccamob who offered to do the name badges for everyone.

We had such a great time at this event. Caught up with friends, and made a lot of new ones. Thank you so much to the organisers, it was a fantastic effort.
We, Peter & Marian enjoyed meeting old and new friends, it was well organised and thoroughly enjoyed. Congrats to the Shepparton Cachers for their efforts, three cheers.
Having never been to an event before, my wife and I had a fantastic time meeting many of the people that up until now, had only communicated with via phone or email. Many thanks goes to the event organisers for a very entertaining day. Now for a spot of dinner and trivia.
T - GC's to distribute for the Race back to Denmark.

Congratulations to the organisers for a fantastic event. It was good to catch up with friends old and new, and there were so many teams from far and wide. Thanks to all concerned for a great day.
Attended 200804251100-1830 . Geocaching events are good to attend at any time but even better when I only have to drive 60km to get there
Kids Town was a perfect family-friendly venue for cachers from all over to flex in and out of between lunch, games and finds and a good time was had by all
It was great to catch up with 'old' geocaching friends and put faces to names of cachers I had only read about
Hearty cheers for cdmark, Team Rubik and Team Gramon for a great day [^]

The whole Morris family were able to attend this fabulous event. The venue is a favourite of geogirls and the fine weather made it just perfect.
Congratulaions to the organisers - you didn't forget a thing and as you had significant other family events, not 1 but 2 events to organize, large numbers and it was the first for Shepp that makes the success even more remarkable.
Managed to use our discount vouchers on the way home but had to repack the car to fit them all in.
Well done guys

We're missing out on this one now. Adam has been called in to work and Shelly has been called in for extra rehearsals. Have a great day!!
I'm unable to make it to this event, opting instead to head up the high country to undertake some physical torture and battle against the elements (going bushwalking). However I've dropped off all the trackables I had with me (including some quality coinage) in 'Water Shipped Down'. Hopefully someone will collect them and transport them across the Goulburn to the event.
Have fun tomorrow

Just realised that I had documented our attendance as a "write note" and not a "will attend".
Confirming 4 adults and 3 children.
Looking forward to our first caching event.

Just another update:
I confirmed the booking with the lovely Tracey from KidsTown today and we now have the whole Peppercorn area (twice the size of the original allocation) for a few more dollars than originally quoted. Tracey worked some magic as the actual hire cost was twice more than we will be paying! She has also confirmed that the train will be running on the day and we can purchase discounted tickets ($2.00) from the kiosk. We need to purchase them from the kiosk rather than the train station to get the cheaper price. Kiosk is open from 10:00am - 4:00pm. The SPC/Ardmona store has thrown in some discount vouchers that we can hand out on the day for those that will load up their boot before heading home. The City of Greater Shepparton Tourist Information Centre has also cut us a deal on a few touristy bits and pieces that we can use as prizes on the day.
Yes, I should also mention that we have a new Geocacher in the family:
Tilly Louise Mark born on the 22nd April at 8:42 weighing 3110g. Mum (D) and Bub doing pretty well, not sure if they will be able to make it on the day though.
Special prize on the day for a geocaching name for Tilly. Cheers.
I am sure there was something else I had to mention as well but it is gone. Sorry. Tired. .
Remembered! Need to mention that you are with the Central Vic Get Together to get the discounted train tickets.

Will give my geo-mum & dad a fond farewell for their trip north as well. Er, and I would like to attend the dinner if I'm not too late. Regards to all - see you there.
