I wonder why we'd taken so long to do this one!! Great autumn day and fortunately didn't rain. Well worth the views and the bit of a bush bash to the top. Went with the owners when they went to pick up the cache container, but they stayed well away admiring the view while we found the cache.. TNLN SL NV QF TFTC TFTGT!!!!!

Ive Been wanting to do this cache for a long time and with this great weather finally got the chance. Biked over to Cobden with a freind and we found the private property sign, spotted the ramp and fence, had a chat to the man that owns the house. The track was easily found but keeping to it was another matter, We must have got it right as we mannaged to find the cross. Cache was easily found, took photo of myself and I took two things the would be useful on my holiday, This cache is great fun and I would recomend it to all the cachers out their thanks Pinot Noir TFTC
Also took some fish hooks with meWink but sadly not the right onesSad The point to wear long pants should be taken.

Definitely a lovely scramble up through the light bush - I'd met the cache owner at the parking spot (they called out across gardens). The track was easy enough to follow, though some "non-trampers" might easily get lost. If you do, just follow your GPS. Great view from the top, then a slither back down through the bush. No swaps, thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1201)

Picking up coin to move on. Its been here a while.

I seemed to do a bit of a circle at the start despite having the necessary preliminary co-ords loaded. Eventually hit the track a little above the trailhead. Suprised at how quick the walk up was but very much a steep and overgrown track in parts.
Easy find and enjoyed the view but starting to get dark so didn't linger too long. A good wee climb.

Well this was a great way to start the second day of the new year, in tpical cacher fashion I missed the track on the way up, so just follow the GPS, found the track for the down hill, and I think my way up was a better option, no slippery track. great view, will try and up log a track log.

Many Thanks for a great cache in a cool place.

Had a run in with the owner of the signposted private property (he lives at number 26).

The outcome was that he now knows about Geocaching and understands what we're up to - however he is clear that he doesn't want people crossing his land to access the cache (unless he first gives them individual permission). He seems like a reasonable guy but he'd like his land left alone as he wants it to develop into bush (in fact he'd like the track left alone as well).

SO - I have update instructions on how to access the cache without crossing the private land that has the signpost - as it stretches further than the cache instructions first lead me to believe.

Park at S42 26.375 E171 12.848
Go up the edge of the vacant paddock to S42 26.363 E171 12.881
Cross the fence and walk to the corner at S42 26.378 E171 12.894
Walk through to the Track at S42 26.380 E171 12.883

Sorry - didn't find the glasses.
Took FTF Prize (to place in another cache).
