Quickly found but cache still in a waterlogged condition.

I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

MAINTENAINCE REQUIRED?
I notice from recent log entries that this cache would seem to be in need of owner intervention as there are one or more comments in regard to the state of the cache log. Therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

A basic tenet of geocaching is that the cache log needs to be signed to record a find, see here; http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#logging . At the moment this would seem to be extremely difficult if not impossible to meet that requirement in regard to this cache.

Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be welcomed by all seekers and your assistance in this aspect of geocaching is greatly appreciated, see here http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance
The rule is; if you can't fix it straight away then Disable it till you can and here's how; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235

Please respond to this situation by 25th February to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

And don't forget, once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log see here; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404 and an "Enable Listing" log see here; https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 to get your cache up and running again.

In glorious sunshine, this is one of a wide variety of caches we found while out and about with Liz and Bruce. We started at Myrtleford, travelled up the Ovens Valley as far as Smoko, stopping by the river for lunch and visiting a number of lookouts with spectacular views.

Feedback to CO: The container for this one is not waterproof and the log is very wet, so the cache is in urgent need of TLC. Sorry we could not leave a dry replacement.

Thanks to sarrett for the hunt.

We were able to find this cache while out exploring the area around Bright with Phetlern. A glorious sunny day displayed the area to its best though an Autumn visit is something we would like to do. Nice one. Big GrinBig Grin Thanks to sarrett for placing this cache.

This one has me barking up the wrong tree. If I had only followed my GPS it would have been much quicker. It took me right to it. The log book was wet as the plastic bag was punctured, but a nice hide had me staring at it wondering if that was it?

Great

Although my gps died before I could log the contents, I'm pretty confident this is one of many I found on the day. Let me know if otherwise (not signed).

After a busy 5 days caching with Team Crackers and Alansee, we headed out to pick up a few more caches.
Cache was found quickly in it's unusual camo, but log is very wet. Needs some TLC.
Many thanks for placing this cache, sarrett, for us and others to find.

29-Oct-14
Just finished the High Voltage Power Trail and my brain had a short circuit and though that another 20 caches to bump the daily total to 121 would be a good idea.
Quick find and the log book is soaking, just barely sign-able.
Thanks for placing this cache sarrett

Found this on our m2m ride. Great cache that blends into the surroundings. As mentioned, log is saturated and unable to be signed.

Passing by again today and we were determined to find the BB Mystery Cache clue, being unsuccessful a month ago. We did find the cache last time though. We looked at the obvious things, and the photo seems to offer a good hint, but no luck. Is it still here?

17-Aug-14
A whole weekend out of town and no time for geocaching? Had a quick stop for this one on the way home, despite the drizzle. GPS jumping back and forth across the side road, so where was it? Used the hint in the end, and we found a container that wasn't a film container, with a plastic pouch with two very soggy strips of notepad. Couldn't sign it, but assume because it was the only cache in the area that this was it.

Couldn't find hint for BB mystery cache nearby either, despite there being several objects that related to the description.

TFTC.

I've been up and down the Bungalow spur today with my year 11 outdoor group from Beechworth SC. After claiming the Feathertop summit cache (plumage) the kids were willing to help me find another cache today to continue my streak. Day #189 of consecutive finds! I even bribed the first student to find it with a coke. This was a quick find... lol!

19-Apr-13
We didn't expect to be geocaching today but after lunch with friends in Beechworth we had free time to ramble back to camp at Freeburgh. We picked up six on the way, this was the fifth at 4.15 pm. Not on bikes, of course, and unlikely to do the series either but when they are close to road the temptation is just too much!Thank you sarrett, TNLNSL. The ziplock bag for the logbook was torn and the book a bit damp so we replaced the bag and put silica in the new one.

One of many caches throughout of Easter Long Weekend trip up the Kiewa Valley and the Victorian High Country.

All Were Great Caches, Thanks to all for giving us a reason to travel and taking us to some unique places up in the amazing Victorian high country.

I would recomend to anyone and everyone to travel and let the caches guide you thoughout the mountains.

At time of Caching I Was Know As "adrian.robinson" / "ar", Due To Facebook Automatic Naming and now known as "VicMap", Much shorter and easier to write.

Found with S.Piddy, roverman88, ashleigh.green, Jesstu666 and team purple pen.

OK, so .....
Yes !! I was on the bike again pedaling, but not peddling back through time Razz
With nothing to sell I was just happy to find the cache Big Grin

The place across the road looks like it is more into peddling than I am, and I'm sure you could buy something to eat, drink or take home for the mantlepiece from them Big Grin

Found with the help of Mrs Yowie, we found the BB Mystery Cache clue first than looked for the cache.

On a very hot day we managed to pick up a few finds on our way to Bright, for a two day getaway of bike riding and Geocaching. Unfortunately our stay at Bright was cut short after a beetle made its way into Yowie’s ear and tried dig through the eardrum.

On the way back to Melbourne from a couple of days skiing and this was one of a few caches found on the way back.
This was a quick drive by cache today and at the time of signing was not aware this was part of a series so will need to return to gather the clue when I am next in the area doing the others in the series. Great to see a cluster and a large number of caches along this rail trail. Keen to come back with the bike soon. TFTC sarrett

I was up in the Cobram / Tocumwal for a few days and as it turned out TDC (Trailrunning and Blacklegend (and a couple of mini-Blacklegends) and I) was able to meet today for a huge run of caching along with our good friend Roostaman who was staying in Wang. We started off in Wangaratta and headed east to Myrtleford before concentrating our efforts there and then heading back west to Wang. We met our compadre Trailrunning in Myrtleford for a huge and legendary TDC day of caching. We managed to clean out the whole Myrtleford area apart from one multi cache that was MIA.

The weather during the day was initially on and off with showers hindering our run but by the early afternoon the weather had cleared and the sun had started to show its face. We had a nice variety of finds for the day with a range of multis, puzzles and trads baggged, all of varying terrain and difficulty and hide type. Overall we had a very enjoyable day which had us ending up at the Maccas in Wang for a well deserved meal of burgers and fries.

I was initially a bit confused at what we found at GZ (or WP1) then a further search not too far away and we had the cache. Thanks sarrett.

12-Jul-12
Found on another great trek with The Demolition Crew. The weather was clearing for a while so it looked like a dry day but it changed and the rain turned on and off but eventually cleared up again. We had a full day of caching from Wangaratta to Myrtleford and beyond. Overall, an excellent day and great company. This was another of the easy driveby cache finds with just a short stroll and a search at GZ. Nice hide too. TNLNSL TFTC,
Roostaman.

12-Jul-12
What a mammoth day for TDC (Blacklegend, Quasar3671 and I) as we all converged on this area to make some finds. BL and Q3 moved in from over the border while I came from the south and Roostaman from Wagga also joined in the fun. What a day it was! I’m sorry for the generic log but I don’t have time to do individual logs before leaving Melbourne tonight. TFTC and the fun! Smile

We had another day devoted to caching - we wandered all over the place today - our numbers weren't very big but we saw lots of nice places and had a lovely time. We'll come here with bikes one day.
