A Southwest escape again with Barnzy12 starting in Perth heading to Margaret river via Dunsborough yallingup and down the coast road.
Day two had us visiting Augusta to Pemberton with a great drive through heartbreak track with stunning Karri Forrest.
Day three was spend visiting Windy Harbour ... living up to its name and then through to Walpole where an epic walk up GC18W4D fire lookout ended the day.
Day four was to be spent walking through Walpole-Nornalup National Park to complete the Hop on Top walk and series of 7 geocaches. A great walk spend with a team of others.
The day ended with a huge drive back to Perth ready for a day of work on Monday.
During the 4 day adventure plenty of caches found around 90 with a good range of types and container sizes. Some great photos and memories to take away.
Team Carnage I found your cache Sizeable Stream thanks for placing this hide for myself and others to find.
Have you logged your will attend for WAGB18? Dunsborough is where it’s all at this year check it out at GC7GXQA October 13th + 14th.

Out on a 4-day south west exploration with Cravo10 with the eventual goal of meeting up for a group assault on the Top on Hop in Walpole Nornalup National Park.
Day 4 saw us leaving Pemberton heading to Walpole via some back roads and a lovely detour to Windy Harbour.
We completed the rainbow trail around Pemberton first thing which was a lovely set of walks including all the caches at Big Brook Dam before heading down to Lake Yeagerup to grab the two caches down there.
We continued to Northcliffe with an unfortunate DNF there before moving down to the highlight of the day which was the location of Windy Harbour, an absolute picturesque place with some great sights the highlight would be their "natures window" which was simply awesome.
We continued along from Windy Harbour to Walpole where we completed all the caches around town and the surrounding before having a final walk upon dusk to Fire Lookout at Mount Frankland, which was absolutely stunning and a great way to finish the day.
Thanks to the local COs for their caches.
Have YOU logged your "will attend" to this years WA Goes BIG Event in Dunsborough on 13-14th October at the Naturaliste Community Centre.
Log your WILL ATTEND now on GC7GXQA and I look forward to seeing you there

TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Spending a couple of days in Pemberton, we checked out the Big Brook Dam & of course had to find the caches on offer.... We made our way around to this cache after first checking out the dam DangerMouse09 was searching on the wrong level, so went to help him & quickly noticed just where it would be
Great spot Team Carnage... Thanks for showing us Cache was in good condition.

Thanks team carnage. Out to try and find some caches in Pemberton. Definitely took the long way around to this one doing the old we can drive to this when it would've been easier to walk from the camp or lake.
While in the area to do the rainbow series we took the opportunity to grab this cache . We will have to bring our bikes back next time for a trek around the dam.
Working in pemby for the week and finally have the chance to tick off some smileys in the area TFTC
Cache went walkies but has been replaced with a spanky new one.
We took our 6 week old boy Kade on his first Caching trip to do this maintenance. We took him for a lap of the Dam in his Pram.

Ex-STREAM-ly excited to see this one had been replaced and a lovely new log book and cache was waiting for me TFTC
Searched for awhile think the rains of winter have hidden this even better ;(
Visited this Cache together with Apfelsine during our Holidays in Australia.
Had some Problems with the accurancy of the gps, but we could find this Cache after some minutes of searching.

On our travels around Australia doing a few caches on the way. Great views of dam TFTC
Geomum spotted the cache as geodad and TTW were about to venture into the bush. There is no need to do any bush bashing as the description and hint provide all the information necessary. SL TFTC Team Carnage.
Coords are a bit off, but managed to find the container quickly. No bish bashing necessary.

Found it after 15 min! Gps unstable and I did not read the comments. Time to walk around the dam now tftc
In all the years I have been coming to big brook I have never walked around it until now. TFTC
Nice walk along the dam, knew I had gone too far when the branches closed in! Easy to reach from the path though. Tftc
10:50 Despite a bit of GPSr instability, this was a quick find, aided by a good hint, on this very pleasant walk. TFTC
Our GPS had us too high off the track. No need to climb and damage the embankment.
A great walk without being able to hear anything but bush sounds.
Thanks for a real caching experience.

A quick find today whilst on a walk with my boys.
Cache is fine, but log is a bit damp.
Traded nothing, came unprepared.

All family members getting in on the act now, another good cache, took bracelet, left eraser, thanks Team Carnage for the cache
Happy to report that this cache is still here - I found it very quickly in what for me seemed to be the obvious spot. A bit muddy on the outside due to recent winter weather, but when you look behind the camouflage in front of the cache, it's soon in hand. Wonderful walk, TFTC Team Carnage.
Found a log at GZ but didn't find the cache inside. Had a look around in the vicinity but couldn't turn anything up.
We enjoyed a lovely cycle around Big Brook Dam and found this cache as added bonus.
It is small and had nothing to trade, but we added an armband and a Woolies Hero card.
Thanks for the hunt!

Found while out doing the Rainbow series. I tried this on a hope that it had been replaced since I last loaded the pocket queries for WA caches.

Our 1st DNF today.
[red]We spent quite some time here at around 12:10:00 PM, but even with four pairs of eyes we couldn't locate the cache.

We suspect the cache isn't here going by the previous comment & also our own search all around the bottom of the tree base. Maybe the owner could check on it to confirm its existence?
Working around the Rainbow trail and since you have to walk past this one ... A little exposed (Maz could see the cache as we walked up the path) so signed in and covered up better
A quick find while touring round the Karri Explorer Trail today. Decided to walk from the dam to the arboretum and back around the other side of the lake, a very pleasant bit of exercise. Signed log, TFTC!
Easy find. Team Starks and Team Waulchie found it with me.... team effort alround : ) TFTC
Found on an end to end hike along the Bibbulmun. A good excuse to stop for a break on the walk into Pemberton. TFTC.
[:(!] Went for a four day caching run to Denmark, Pemberton and then back to Perth, this is our last day as we head back to Perth and this was one of them, parked the geoGrand Vitara as close as possible to GZ and we walked in from there, on arrival at GZ and this cache was in my hands in a matter of minutes.

Thanks Team Carnage for another great cache - beautiful locations and nice walks to get them.
First to sign the new log book! Lovely stroll around the dam this evening after a sharp thunderstorm. Thanks
Nice hide, my little daughters first discovery. As mentioned by others, logbook needs to be replaced.
Found @1006 #2553
Day 5 of a caching holiday around the south west of Western Australian and after stopping in Pemberton last night it was now time to explore the region. The weather today was much better then yesterday with only some overcast clouds but no rain which was nice.
Another cache found along this trail today, too me longer then it should have as I trusted the GPSr where I should of read the description first. Nice find. TFTC Team Carnage

Thought we may as well grab this one while finding the Rainbow Ramble series. The log book is completely chockers. I had a spare log book with me but it wouldn't fit in the cache so we just left a small bit of paper to cover maybe 5-10 more logs but it will definitely need replacing shortly.
Thanks for a nice hide on an excellent walking/cycling trail. Thanks Team Carnage [^]

Got this one while on other mission. But very nice spot! Afterwards we thought we should have walked the whole trail around the lake.
