Logs
Found the original cache about 20 feet down the hill. It was melted in places but everything inside was still intact. Replaced with a bit smaller container and updated the story to reflect the new coordinates for the cache.
As reported by Jimp59 and Ungkulu, this cache was burnt to a crisp. Will replace it as soon as I can.
Came by with Ungkulu and Jst My Luck to get this cache and unfortunately the area was swept by fire. I know exactly where the cache is located and it's not there. Two of the crosses survived but everything else was burnt to the ground.
Caching with Jimp59 as our guide in helping us pick up a few caches we haven't picked up. This cache being a puzzle is the one's that always puts my brains into 'too hi' speed that I purely miss the solving part! don't ask me how do I do that I just know I do.. Thanks to Jimp59 he lend us to this cool cache hide. brain here is still on overdrive! dang puzzles making me gain more gray hair before my time! hehehehehehe.. upon arriving at GZ we tell Jimp59 the area has been hit with brush fires almost daily. But we still take the sweet short hike to the top to double check if cache is alive or has been destroyed by the fires happening in the area.. darn it.. it's dead.. warped melted to literally nadda thing. I do have to say this is a awesome place for yet another cool cache hide. Will come back when ya got it up and ready for us seekers.
After sannROX breaks the code she hallers at her boy and her girl Sher_Bear to come with. We had just opened the table at my house to eat when I was man-napped from the celebration. Again you should not cache when you had one to many to drink, I've been celebrating the Christmas with spirits of all kinds.
We get within 400ft of the cache and damn, it’s a hike. We begin the hike and realize that its damn sakati (sword grass) that we have to forge through. But hey nothing is going to stop the duck hunters. I take the lead while Sher_Bear and sannnROX follow. We get half way and I begin slipping in the clay soil. I’m yelling for help because I’m stuck and my yori is broken. Such girls cause they respond, we can’t get to you, whatever if I can get up Mt. Lamlam during lent this is a piece of cake. I get unstuck, fix my slipper and continue towards the poles.
We get to the summit, and Sher’s blackberry-ps is bouncing crazy, we read the logs and the girls begin searching. I’m to fascinated with poles and the little poles, that I being singing, “I love you lord and I lift my voice” and if a sign to shut up and behave one of the giant poles falls down. All while I complete the line “may be a sweet sweet sound, in your ear.” I guess the sweet sound was the pole falling. We all froke out and I felt bad for making all the noise that I take the rosary and begin to pray. And as if a voice had said its over there, I follow the voice and low and behold there’s the cache. I walk back to the summit there the girls are looking and I stand there waiting for them to see me. But because I was to into saying the rosary and it was getting dark, I yell out “I found it.” We log our find and head down. Way to funny with the pole thing though.

iJosh: SAAAAANNNN IS THIS SECATE???!!
me: *whispering to sherbear* what's secate?
sherbear: *whispering back* swordgrass
me *yelling to josh* just be careful when you walk thr---
josh: OW! my zori BROKE!!
me: MERRY CHRISTMAS, buddy!
Okay, SO. I was done with my family's Christmas festivities and I called these two to see what they were doing. Sher was free and josh was just about to eat...but one caveat, he'd been "celebrating" the birth of JC since this morning...and he really shouldn't be driving. I tell him to come with me to get this one cache and then we'll return him to his celebration in one piece. Okay *he shrugs*....he jumps in the car and off we go. The sun is threatening to set, but once we get within 400 ft of GZ we already know where we have to go. As we reach the bottom of the hill it starts to get slippery, and josh even has trouble on one path, but sher and I take another way up and we make it up in no time at all. We immediately start looking in obvious places, but after a few minutes, still can't seem to find it.
We (and by we, I mean Josh) are fascinated by all the "poles" and josh starts singing a hymn from mass (he attended midnight mass last night). I actually start singing along but when my back was turned I just hear "OH MY GAAAAAAWD!" I turn around with just enough time to see one of the poles fall. HOLY CHRISTMAS, JOSH-SHOOO-WAAAA!!! WHAT DID YOU DO?!?!! (already blaming him)...He's all like: "well its been RAINING" He's right, so I didn't want to blame him TOO much...but I'm sure him poking around in that area wasn't helping.
Boldy (sher's cacheberry) was having a little trouble with reception so we just keep on looking, but dark is setting in...and fast! Josh, feeling guilty for the pole falling, picks up a rosary that was hanging on one of the small poles and starts praying the rosary. "josh we're not gonna find it unless you stop messing around and help look" Then I realize what he's doing and I'm not about to stop him from being all HOLY on the religious of all holidays. As I'm digging through the grass, I even find myself responding...in chamorro. Boldy starts up again and sherbear reads that the cache has been moved back in April...okay so we get to the side where it should be.
My flashlight drops and I reach down for it. OWWW I got sliced! darn you, SECATE!! Just then, I see Josh standing there (still in the middle of prayer, mind you) but he stops mid "Our Father" to say "I GOT IT!" I look up at him, uhm sher? Sher's not paying attention. SHER, He's got it! Sherbear: "where the heck did you get THAT from?" He's in the middle of wrapping up his rosary but manages to point to where he got it.
I look at sherbear..."you know he was down there like a whole sorrowful MYSTERY ago...so he's been holding that thing for some time, now." We both start cracking up, but its getting darker and darker so we sign the log and throw in a rubber duckie and get the heck outta there! Its super slippery cuz it was raining elephants yesterday, but we manage to get down and as we're walking back to the car it gets PITCH BLACK. I guess that just shows you what the power of prayer can do. Merry Christmas, everyone!
Thanks again for the adventure. TN / L-Rubber Ducky, SL

Its about 5pm Christmas day when SannnRox calls and says she wants to find Billy Goat's Gruff. She had decoded this one a while back and what a perfect day to find this cache...except...it had been raining the last few days. We set out on our mission only to find it a little difficult to get there. The sun was setting and we were a little nervous about being there after dark...but we were determined to find this cache. After reading one of the logs...Josh looks for the obvious and calls bingo. We got back to Lola just in time before the sky went pitch black. Again...I never knew this place existed. Thanks for brining us there!

Grabbed this one today while out by Leo's Palace. It took me a minute to find the cache due to it being moved about 20 feet from the original location. I have the new coordinates for where it is now and I'll e-mail it to the owner. TNLNSL TFTC

Another one of 9 caches along this road! This was one of 25 IslandWave, book_freak, Cora-Chan, an I did today.
I figured the code last night and when we pulled up we realized it wasn't just along the roadside; but no worries the hike was short and easy.
There were a couple of guys bush cutting and repairing the railing--getting ready for the Easter assent. There was no way to get the cache with out having them see, but it turns out to be a good thing because one of them had found the cache and set it out near the crosses. He wasn't going to muggle it, but didn't know what to do with it. We talked for a bit and he told me that he had found the one at Tarzan Falls as well and had left it too. Nice guy and a muggle-friend!
In order to protect the cache from the upcoming Easter assent, I placed it a bit further on the downside of the hill, past the crosses. I'll send the owner a PM and give him a landmark. After the weekend he can move it back to the correct GZ.
TFTC! It's a great one for pics!

No trolls or billy goats were harmed in the finding of this cache. I think finding the darn trailhead should count as a separate find of it's own.
Found today while caching with Jimp59.
This cache provides a full spectrum of activities for the cacher! A very colorful story, an interesting puzzle, a fantastic view at the final location, a good sized cache for trackables, etc. Blygoat never ceases to amaze and entertain with his caches. I will need to import him to Okinawa for some fresh ideas! Thanks for all the time and effort that you put into caching on Guam.

Checked on the cache today. Still in good condition. The grass is really tall though. Need some goats to eat it all up!
** Coordinates Changed From **
N 13° 25.791 E 144° 45.295
Distance From Old: 190.8 feet
Remember, these are NOT the coordinates for the cache. I'm changing the coordinates to reflect an easier trailhead to the cache. The cache is still in the same location as before.

Checked on this one today and couldn't believe it...there is a new trail that leads to the cache because of the recent visit by hundreds of people over the Easter weekend. From my car to the cache and back took less than 10 minutes! It's THAT easy! Now's the time to find this one if you haven't done it yet. Refilled the cache container and discovered 2 geocoins still in the cache.
Please note that the color for the small billy goat is now black. Thanks to Kaipoop for catching this error.
