Searcher this one but no luck. It has numerous DNFs & not found since January.
Owners needs to check on this one, it appears as if it is missing.

Had a wonderful time exploring the cemetery after we found where it obviously should of been but was not. A very interesting place to stroll around.
Romped through lots of trees pushed branches around and aside to no avail

Loved this location and the history this cache shares with the Geocaching community, but sadly we were unable to locate this cache today.
I too wonder why Lanky is far away from everyone else. Is it because he is aboriginal or because he worked as a Police scout. I fav from us. TFTC

From Beachport our drive took us on to Millicent, so it was only a short side trip to capture this cache. The bright lid stood out from a distance, so I had no trouble finding this one. Certainly an interesting headstone! Cache #1,731.
Quick find on the last day of our S.E. Trip. Shame that Lanky was stuck right over in the corner, but I reckon he's actually got the nicest spot! Thanks for the history. TFTC
Today we set off for a nice camping trip down the SE and we broke up the drive with a few caches along the way
Apologies for a generic log as we have done so many along the way its hard to remember details of them all
Thanks for the cache NKJ

Miss GG and I were on a camping trip to the SE, and decided to do a few caches on the way.
We had a wonderful trip and the weather was very kind to us.
Sorry for the generic log for most of the caches, sure you can understand that you can't remember them all esp when you are not logging on the go

would not have known about Lanky if not for geocaching. T dice L lion. TFTC
This was a great cache... more for the nearby history than the hide. Saw the name in town then the face out here. Thanks for the brief insight into local history.
We've learnt a little more about this man, since finding the cache - very interesting

Found on our journey home after a great caching trip to Mt Gambier.
We are suckers for cemetery caches. It was great to be brought to a place of local historical importance. We were intrigued by the plaque on the gate post as we didn't notice any roses. Weird.

Easy find. A shame Lanky's grave is away from everyone elses, but then again, all the graves are spread over the whole block. RIP Lanky. TFTC.
Nice bit of history, it's a shame 'Lanky' is tucked away in the corner...

Hidden spot in the corner of the graveyard, well built memorial quick find as it was exposed TFTC
Found super easy (we laughed at how easy it was) tnln tftc on the way out went and visit some people that we lost to early
Went to visit lanky and pay respects to ones we have lost with my geo sister and her geo man tnln tftc really easy to find
# 1847. As we had visited Lanky's well I had to also visit Lanky here in his last resting place. Even though it is well away from the other graves it is a pretty impressive monument to him. An easy find for me here and covered well after signing. TFTC
Went straight to this one, log was slightly damp due to torn plastic bag so we swapped the old bag for a new one. TFTC
While leaving flowers on the grave of two wonderful people I remembered there was a cache here. Found by my daughter (her first cache). No pen so I took photo.
bitmissan easy find pity the trees are covering it if not you may be able to read what is written on it about lanky
We found this a very interesting place. Amazing that Lanky is tucked right back in the corner. I wish the trees would be cut a little so that Lanky was exposed a little more. TFTC!
Driving from Robe to Warrnambool grabbing a few caches along the route.
It is a little sad that Lanky is becoming overgrown. Some judicious pruning of trees will reveal more of his mask and inscription.
We wondered if he had contracted a contagious disease and so was buried away from the main grounds.
Thanks Jacqueline and Peter #7195

Had to come and visit this one after visiting the well and geoteen excited about a cemetary visit (go figure!). TFTC
We actually think Lanky has the best spot in the cemetery - probably just like he would have liked. Peaceful, near the bush, away from the crowds. We are glad that we did Lanky's Well cache first, followed by this one. We enjoyed learing about Lanky's story, was very nice to learn about him and his service to the community, and then to see his final resting place. This is a very interesting cemetery - there are many quite different graves/headstones/plots. Thanks so much for the cache. Took the TB to move on.
Found this one with Hiluxury tonight.
Put some flowers on Nanas grave for the first time Miss you Nana xox

We've been to Beachport a number of times. Wouldn't have found this place if it this wasn't here. TFTC.
Love this type of cache, We allso ask, why in the back and away from the "regular graves" A very moving story of times long gone. And yes we searched the tree only to stand back and say we are fools becouse its just there but not were we first looked.
What an interesting story, and a beautiful resting place. The cache was very sodden, and we couldn't sign the log, so we stamped the inside of the lid!
TFTC :] cache was very water logged. 200th Cache WOO HOO

Poor Lanky, very lonely spot. Lovely memorial though. Took nothing, left a frog. Log book is soaked, left some extra pages in another ziplock. Hope they survive till the logbook can be replaced.
Well we certainly know what the locals felt about Lanky, there was no way they were going to let his spirits get near the good lambs of their God.
I'ts a wonder they didn't put him on the ouside of the fence. took dog left red necklace.

He certainly is out there on his own, what a beautiful headstone that has been placed on his grave I guess that it is a fairly recent addition. took one of the Gambor coins and left a holy piece of a Saints body part
Thank You too all, as soon as I am near by I will get a new log book & container in place.
Maintenance is required logbook was water logged & container half full of water (lids broken).
