We were camped at Black Rocks for 4 days. Headed here to look for the cache. After looking around, and following the hint, we couldn't find anything
Drove down 10 mile Beach from Iluka then walked over to GZ. Gave it a good 30mins of searching but had to give us as the others were waiting for me back at the beach. Next time.
Well, did a welfare check today as no finds since the February floods and a DNF reported late November.
GZ has been washed over and a good layer of silt and gravel deposited on top of it. Retrieved the trusty trenching tool from the cachmobile and started digging. No cache found, so guess it is somewhere out to sea now.
This is the second time we have had to excavate GZ to reactivate this cache so decided to relocate it to a higher location diagonally oposite the otherside of the creek.
New coords determined and entered.
Happy caching.

Cache check and log on a cache chambos and I left 15 years ago. In great condition. Left a storm trooper ooshie for the next kid to pass through.
With time to waste, we decided to go do a cache check.
Thankyou to DiamondJs for replacing this cache in August.
Well, we looked and checked with no luck. Contacted DJs to confurm it was replaced in same site.
After much excavation of silt and rocks with tyre lever we located it, totally buried under run-off from the road. Contents still perfectly dry.
Relocated it at same GZ and hopefully not in a position to be buried again.

I normally work on Saturdays so when I was told that there was no work this Saturday because of a broken machine I took the opportunity to go camping. Black Rocks was the destination and black rocks is what I climbed over all the way to the creek entrance at high tide this morning for fun. After the long walk back along an easy path, I did this cache.
Nice spot down here. I'll be back to kayak the creek another time.
TFTC:)

What an amazing walk, full of history. We came here to paddle the creek, but the walk was easily as good.

Coming home from a weekend in Yamba and this had been sighted on the map the day before but hmmmm thats a beach track my car doesn't do that, so we thought we would do it on way home from a different angle. We had a bit of trouble finding how to get to the road now that the new highway is open, but we did and we on our way to the cache, a few ?? klms on and we were at the GZ and after a PAF a log was signed and we were on our way to the most gorgeous camping spot, wow must come down one day with a bit of time to spare for a really good look and maybe an overnight stay. TFTC
Thanks for bringing us to a cache that led to a beautiful spot, we wouldn't have bothered with the drive without the cache. TFTC
Camping here for the weekend, first time, beautiful spot so don't doubt I'll be back. Tftc
I was in the area today, so decided to make the drive into Black Rock to grab this cache. I’ve been here plenty of times before – kayaking on the river and exploring the nearby caves. Such a nice area. Never camped the night though – I’d love to do that.
Found the cache and signed the log, everything is nice and dry. It was well hidden too. Thanks for another reason to pop back in here!

TFTC! Found on a lovely sunny day with KearnsAU after completing the Jerusalem Track.
Returning to Brisbane via Yamba, we came to camp at Black Rocks and are soooooo thankful we did...IT IS SPECTACULAR HERE!!! Excellent campsite (although off grid and no water access), beaches to yourself, stunning scenery, infinite stars, swimming with dolphins...our one night here has been a dream, and we’re already discussing our next trip back!
As leaving the campsite, we picked up this easy cache. Good size and a little swag, although the contents was sodden, including a totally destroyed and unusable logbook Have cleaned it out as best we can and someone had already placed a temporary logbook inside, which we have added our name to. Took the bear clip for a caterpillar . TFTC, and do yourself a favour, fellow Geocachers, and come see this GZ! Probably the best beach I have been to in Australia

Took a drive up from Yamba to have a look here. Good spot for bush camping if you like the beach just over the dunes but a little scrubby for our tastes. Found the cache nice and quickly. Had noted others logs about the soggy log book so took a spare in a zip lock bag and added it to the cache. Can’t have these rare NP caches getting archived can we. pretty hot day should taken our togs for a swim in the tee tree coloured creek. TFTC
Find #1154
Great place to enjoy a walk and a swim. Log book and contents still saturated so photo in place of log. Tftc

East find but we'll hidden. Too wet to write on log so left orange Post It tag.
Found it! Good hide but log book was soaked. I didn't have a replacement as this place is perfect for camping and didn't think to pack it. Tftc
Pretty sure we need to return to camp along here!
Thanks for showing us this glorious place

While staying in the area we picked this cache up.. An easy find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We were off for a bushwalk up Jerusalem Creek, so looked up caches in the area. Found this one easily, with accurate coordinates leading us to the right spot. Gourmet somehow managed to get rather muddy and sooty, neither if which were necessary to the find. We continued on to our bushwalk and made it all the way to the creek mouth, very proud of Geo6 and Geo2 for doing awesome walking. We didn't see another (human) soul the whole adventure.
Found this afternoon at 3.45pm, while on a wander around the park. We are camped here for couple of days, just enjoying the sunshine. As we rounded the bend after logging our find, a car pulled in. Muggle or cacher, who knows, whatever, I beat you to the travel bug.
Took the Tick Tag, and left a whistle.
Thanks for the hide chambos.
Wombat the Anthus laptop Geocoin visited, as did Runciple's Grasshopper, a tassie trekkers pathtag, a sweet - sour pathtag, a grannysmith path tag, a geo achievement 500 caches award, an f14 Tomcat, a scotch and soda, a monkey and a tick tag - oh, and a bundle of keyrings that I have collected since caching in WA in August 2013 (current count is 24)

Dropped off a Travel Bug and collected one that was there. Loved the campsite nearby and the paddling up Jarusalem Ck.

Would have been a nice place before nation sparks and wildfires came and fenced it all up TFTF TNLN hoo roo
Found it TFTC, used to go camping here when kids were little, really disappointing to see how regulated it has become. I don't think I'll ever bother going back.
Found it after a fun weekend camping at black rocks. So exciting to be the first to find the new cache along with mine_cacher.
New cache installed at GZ.
The Christmas fires definitely cleaned up the old one.
Happy caching to all.

On our way out to Black Rocks for some birthday camping, nice to come across a cache out here!
Came here to stay on the campground and had to search this cache. Very nice place! Out: gc
Quick stop here as we were leaving the camping ground. Cache is in good nick. Left a TB here to encourage visits to the campground. TFTC Chambos!
As we were staying in nearby Evans Head with local cache legend J-Vegas, we did a quick search of available caches and couldn't believe this had not been uncovered since Oct 2011!!! A trip down the dirt track was required. The previous log (a note) said they had attempted the 4X4 option shown in the cache description. There is no way you can get from Shark Bay in Evans to Black Rocks (unless there's a Shark Bay to the south of here?). In any case, the beach between Snapper Point and Jerusalem Ck is Crown Land and used by the RAAF as an air weapons range - don't go here as death may rain from above. All this aside we were absolutely stoked to make this find. The container has one broken clip but is otherwise good condition.
Great camping area nearby! Thoroughly enjoyed grabbing this one with Enzo and Zita as it had been a long gap between finds on the log.
We wanted to find this cache by traveling by 4WD from Shark Bay over the beach to Black Rocks. But we found that the beach acces at Black Rocks was blocked. So we had to travel back over the beach without reaching the cache.
Nevertheless a nice beach drive.

Set off on foot after setting up camp. A nice easy find. Left a peace dove, TN, thanks chambos.
TFTC chambos. A lovely drive to GZ and a quick find to retrieve the cache. Introduced a friends daughter to the wonderful world of Geocaching today and I think she loved it. No I know she loved it as she has just told me she has signed up. Welcome to Geocaching binky-boo! Anyway SL. TN. LN. A great day in all.
Enjoyed the drive in here, new territory is always interesting, nice easy find TFTC
Nice drive in today after a long day in the car.
We decided a swim would be nice but when we got to the beach, it was blowing a gale and the surf was very messy. We settled for a afternoon walk before heading home.

Love a great drive up the sand. We did this one in the middle of the day and forgot to take water, bad idea.
Found and made a swap.
After all the rain it needed a good clean and dry out.
Needs a new book due to moisture.
Hint There is another near by. H2O

While out camping with Radnoski and LocutusOfBris, we decided to tackle this cache in this wonderful national park. This campground has been a favourite of Radnoski and I for 10 years now. Anyone looking for a great place to camp - this is highly recommended. Found the cache in excellent condition. TFTC Chambos & Y4DoDis
