I noticed that this cache has been in need of owner maintenance for an extended period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) and then repair the cache within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication/action.

No find for 17 months, needs a look at please, I would love to do this one as the first one was great.
I had a look again tonight where I thought GZ was based on WPC and a number of logs as I did not find WPD but no luck again . We'll keep watching, thanks
Unfortunately we couldn't find WPD . We took a stab in the dark for the final but no chance this time We'll keep a eye on this one and see, cheers
Well after finding GeoBugs 1 yesterday I thought the Future Finder and I would have a go at the sequel this afternoon. The weather wasn't as good today, with very blusterly wind and the odd heavy shower. Still, we made very quick finds of both Bug C and Bug D. Then it was off to the final. Found the cache in the first spot we checked. It was a little exposed so we covered it up with some natural camo on return. Cheers for another fun multi-cache experience!
Took a while to find bug C, but quickly located D and the final cache. TLNL. TFTC.
Strangely the gps kept trying to send me out into the mangroves when I came upon the GZ. Luckily the tide was right in so I knew that couldn't be right. So using the clue it was quickly found. Cache could do with some camo tho cause it stood out a bit. Don't know if it can be classed as a FTF but we are definitely FTF at the new location.
I've re-established this cache with new bugs C+D (at new coords), and slightly altered cache final with new container. Have fun!
No response from owner. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 21 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
See last log, same.

Found the Bug at C fairly easily but nothing else there. Wondered if it was cryptic but after reading old logs think there should have been something more!? Went on to D but didn't find a bug at all though the clue seemed clear. We'll watch and wait...
Finally found the final cache. We did this as a family as usual and it took us an hour to get to the location since the 4 kids wanted to revisit another cache nearby. Plus we had to revisit bugs C & D since we lost the numbers from our last hunt. We had a general idea where it was anyway and we knew the clues were as useful as the coordinates. You can't rely on one alone. We knew the final cache had the wrong coordinates since bugs C & D were off the mark too. So we knew we didn't have to go to muddy or watery places.
I was about to give up because I knew it would be almost impossible if we rely only on the coordinates. We I lead the family along a path and looked for a cabbage/s and poke my gumboots on dead leaves and found a dirty plastic bag with a plastic container inside. The kids didn't want to touch the plastic but were very excited when we opened it.
Will suggest to Phillapillar to correct the coordinates on those bugs C & D. The reading on my gps of the final cache was off by 10m. The coordinates I posted of bugs C & D are accurate to 2m
Actual location of Bug c -36.8139429921826, 174.78625908493996
Actual location of Bud d -36.81374944522461, 174.78738494217396
My coordinates suggestion of the final cache to Phillapillar will make the final cache more accurate as well

We found bugs C & D on 2 days because it was getting hard too look with the weather slightly wet and 4 kids hungry and getting grumpy
Bug C was off mark by 10m and Bug D by 15m
Using this link http://itouchmap.com/latlong.html
I was able to get the exact location of both bugs. Just click a point on the map and it gives you it's coordinates. I think people should use this when placing a bug so that the only margin of error are on the hunters and not the bugs as well.
Bug C Latlong, -36.8139429921826, 174.78625908493996
Bud D Latlong -36.81374944522461, 174.78738494217396
Go to http://maps.google.com and paste the coords above as they are, including the negative sign and the comma
I haven't yet found the final treasure but I already have the coordinates. I won't tell you the final coords of course lest I spoil the game.
The final hunt will be another day. And when I find it, I will get the actual coordinates of that cache and suggest corrections on the values that are stuck on bugs C & D

Here for a 2nd attempt - better luck this time. Had 2 new cachers along with me and caught up with AMANDANON between Wpnts. - Buterfly + ladybug ring. TFTC
Found with Helefant, UGTME and AMANDANON. TFTC, loved it even though it was raining
First time visit to this park; great views and fun. Had to stop and start with the huge number of cyclists and walkers enjoying the sunshine. Interesting idea for a cache. TFTC
Was in the area today and had some spare time.
Cool waypoint's. WP2 took a while (coords where a bit off)
Nice walk to the final.

Another cool concept. final a bit out to sea!! Found easily with hint. SL -TB TFTC
My first for the year and i am not sure if I put 2010. The final put me out to sea but the clue was good. A very good multi thanks.
I really enjoyed this one. The WPs where not hard and the walk was through a pleasant area. I did have to recheck the cords as they had me in the water on the final. I wouldnt have found it without the hint for the final. Thanks.
Caching with Seattle's Best this afternoon. This was just brilliant, enjoyed this multi. Bugs they were great....!! Had a few good laughs. Final had us 30metres off track, let just say in the Mud!! Thankfully we decided to use the hint.. that put us right! Thanks heaps for the adventure and fun! TFTC! Left - TB.
This cache was great fun! Go the Geo Bugs!! Kayaknkiwi was the geo bug finder and I found the cache by poking around with my stick! The final coords had us 30 metres in the mudflats, though, but the hint saved the day (and our shoes!) Great walkway. Didn't know this was here! TFTC!!
Enjoyed the walk this multi took us on, though part of it was very wet underfoot with all the recent rain. Found the bugs nice and easily, and then the final using the clue. Thanks for bringing us to this area.

What a neat idea, had heard about the geo bug caches and now understand why everyone thinks they are so neat . Easy find for the first two way points and then on our way to GZ. With the correct co-ords loaded on the GPS, (we checked on the way back) we had reached the spot mentioned in the clue but still had about 30m to go. Cache was found very exposed beside the walkway but everything seemed intact including the geocoin. Have replaced behind the tall vegetation but you may want to check that it is in the right spot. Thanks for an enjoyable walk T4TC.
Found this one while out on a day's caching with MandyP. Great place and a good hide. Thanks
I rather enjoy your multicaches. Team WELSH were great with this one. T4TC Left Geocoin
This was good fun! Used the hints to speed things up as we didn't have long to spend here. SL. TFTC.
Nice cache idea. I was spied on from afar, and timed, by fellow cachers Tufty and Coldstream as I made my way to the final. I found that the GZ was 30m out but the hint saved the day (apparently the others also agreed with my discovery). -Earth Day 2008 geocoin. Thanks for the cache. Will do the first of this cache series on the way home.
The sequel took a while thanks to forgetting the clue and not looking carefully enough. TFTC.
Found this about a month ago, however only just found the scrap of paper that I wrote the names of all the caches I found on that day.

4.40pm. Found the first two WP`s without much trouble, but like XC+TK our co-ords were out by 33m for the final. Had to wait for some muggles to finish there photographs at GZ then it was an easy find with the help of the clue.

Finding the bugs was quite trickey. The cache and bug co-orddanettes were a bit off the real hiding spot.
Finally got this one, with a bit of help from Skatelong, and from the clue, after finding the bugs months ago. Thanks.
Found in the company of the inimitable XenaCommander.
TechnoKitten has been very slack with logs and is finally catching up.

XC and TK hunting caches in Devonport on cycles.. Enjoying a break in the constant rain we have been experiencing.
Enjoyed the buggy waypoints... although the final coords were showing 33 meters off... Might need to check final coords.
TK found cache by chance from the clue. Signed log and replaced.

Used the additional waypoints to find the bugs only because when you download to the GPS it seems to put them in. We are learning all the time - were wondering what all these extra waypoints were on our machines~!~!. Another lovely park and walk and the bugs were wonderful insects - such a lovely idea Philly. On to our next cache before the rain comes ...
Lots of fun for all the family looking for the bugs. The WP coordinates are all out from small to large amounts, but the clues help.
Swapped over our bugs...

3.15pm. It was a relief to find this one after two DNF's earlier in the day. Enjoyed this cache hunt a lot. It was a beautiful day and we had not explored this little area before. The bugs in the trees create excellent waypoints. Well done. We did find the intermediate waypoints C&D a little out. In the case of C we were about 5m out and with D a good 10-15m astray. However we got there in the end. Looking forward to doing the other GeoBugs cache now!!
+ Little green "alien" bug (if you have a bit of imagination) and a TB (what better type of bug could you leave!!)

Thanks.

#851. Lovely evening accompanied by Junior Ouenette on bicycle - (Sounds like Viv Stanshall and the Bonzo Dog DooDa Band) - Strolled along the walkways now equipped in the knowledge of what to look for. Nice theme. TFTC.
Lovely walk on a beautiful Easter Sunday. Found WPs no problem butfinal was a bit more tricky. GPS wanted to send us out into the water. Needed the clue to get there.

Spent ages looking for wp1, then had to take a muggle break, and on returning the GPSr finally took me to the correct tree.
My GZ for the final was 32m on the wrong side of the track , in the swamp, but the clue got me there easily.

Nice cache, nice views again, gz seemed off? maybe that was a keying error by me, thanks for this cool cache.
Thanks!

Fresh from finding Geobugs 1, we continued our cycle ride onto Geobugs 2. Again we had no problems with the waypoints and 6 year old son personally found both to his delight!
Then on to the final, where it all went pear shaped! Firstly we were confused about whether to correct the co-ordinates as per the previous logs or to assume they had been already corrected when the cache maintenence was performed. It didn't help that our GPS was pointing 30m off the walkway. So we took the PAF route, in fact it took 2 PAFs before we found the cache
So we took a reading at GZ for what we think the co-ordinates could be, but possibly a clue may help more with the final, especially as others may not have as may helpful friends as us!

Quick find. Bug C is moulting badly and the clue was very hard to decipher, needed to use a PAF to confirm our numbers. Cool hide for Bug D and no problems there. The final presented no problems once we applied the posted adjustments. The kids really enjoyed both these buggy caches, and are looking forward to future caches in the series, thanks Phillapillar.

Had to phone a friend to assist with the readings on WPC as it is illegible. My GPS also had me searching in the wrong area for WPC. WPD was OK. Though the corrected coordinates should now be put on the Waypoints.

Also, the co-ords for the FINAL are inaccurate, so please minus 15 from S. Minus 10 from E.

This one is as good as the first and I am wondering if there are going to be any more. With some small adjustments to the coordinates this is going to be a neat walk or ride. I certainly enjoyed it. Thanks a lot!
Too fine outside to be in the office today so what better than a bit of Caching. Turned out very hot and TT missed the AirCon.
This was the sequel to Bugs 1 and so the method was set. The Co-ords were a bit out so suggest WP D = S36 48.828 E174 47.245 but the clue will also work. Agree with FunkyMonkeyZone regarding the final - S minus 15 and E minus 10.
Thanks Phillapillar for the obvious work and interesting concept.

Another pleasant walk in this area. Coords had me a little off for these waypoints - first one found just by hoping it was there and not where the GPS was pointing and the second was obvious from the clue. The final was pointing over 30 metres into someone's back yard so for the final I recommend future finders subtract about 0.015 off the S minutes and 0.010 off the E minutes - this might not be exact but it's much closer. Another really good multi cache, thanks.
Didn't notice any TB in there, but may have missed it.
