Unfortunately this one is outta there

Went in search and could hear plenty of music from the nearby hall, but no cache sprung out at us today. I did see a needle on the ground so one guess what the locals get up to out here - Owner may wish to check and let others know if it is still there or needs replacement. Thanks for a fun hunt anyway.

With Alchemy2 we did have a good look but cant find anything.. Maybe it is missing.. please check if the cache still alive there.

Came away with two DNF's. No cache and no Koala's. Returned a second time after reading the hint but still came up empty handed.

Found by Mary & David at 0745. The cockatoos screeched at our arrival and we stood mesmerised counting 70 fully laden coal waggons on the train, pulled by 3 engines, that struggled past. We've had a couple of trips to Gunnedah in the past. Our daughter married a local, so we met up with his Mum last night to swap stories of grandchildren. Collected 'Reutlinger Mutschel' TB, dropped off 'Bruce the Quoll' TB. Our thanks to lilla07.

I didn't manage to spot any koala on this trip but it was team vainui's lucky day cos' he spotted koala and the cache .. beautiful park. TFTC

Cache was found rather quickly, spotting a koala took a bit longer. We eventually found one up a tree closer to the Visitor Center.

We drove down View Street which according to the Tourist Information Centre is where the Koala usually hang out, but sadly we didn't see any. Oh well. We'll have to make do with seeing some in the zoo!

Found at 1.05pm GAFF1. We could see why some would have a problem with this cache as we found it 12 metres from GZ - but luckily in the first place we looked.
We were intrigued by the Dorothea MacKellar story nearby and even posed in front of the statue for a picture.

Found at 0855Hrs. Funny that this town claims to be the Koala Capital of Australia. There were no Koala sightings or even any word of them when I used to live there! It was a few years ago but still ....

On a pretty quick drive from Tamworth to Dubbo, we managed a quick refreshment stop here & also a quick cache. A nice area & a nice quick find, followed by a visit to the info centre.

Surprisingly there was an infernal muggle hanging around today which meant we had to act steathily! So acted like a greenie to grab the find. Took TB Hum, LN, Thanks lilla07 for the cache.

Found easily ahead of weroamin, left TB to send on his way. TFTC.

Wandering around GZ as a Queenslander, in bare feet, I found the Khaki Weed before I found the cache, but in company with gerrynewgirl I still scored a find. TFTC Took Micro Coin and left a token.

Parked very close by and then took about 5 minutes of searching before the prize revealed itself.

Nice shaded area so all was good.

Visited whilst on our return trip to Bendigo. Our first visit to this town – thanks for the interesting information in the cache notes. A quick find of the treasure and we were on our way again. Satellites had the GZ 9m east of the cache site today.

Don't think I've ever been to this town before. Last time down the New England I continued on to Sydney so nice to see a little of the town although it was dark by now. Thankfully found the cache easily.

Twelfth for the day and cache two hundred and sixty-three on day ten of our Brisvegas trip, the cache was found at 1785 in the company of chewinprickles on our way home. This was a nice park but we saw no koalas, I liked how th silo had been turned into a Museum. Thanks lilla07 for the cache.

easy find in the early morning

Called in for a quick cache check. All good and still in place.
Picked up the GC to move on and dropped off a Diabetes TB.

XC on another trip to Australia on business from NZ.. This time to Gunnedah.. Woke early this morning so decided to try for a couple... Parked rental nearby and walked towards GZ not feeling confident because of the 2 DNF's previously logged. But when 5 metres away I spotted the likely spot and sure enough!! Nice placement.
Dropped in Fishermans Love Geocoin...
Was hoping to see a Koala.. but no... Lots of Galah's though.. They are worth $2,000 each in New Zealand.. There was a fortune flying around the park!!! lol..
