We were determined to find this one, but unfortunately our fate was similar to the previous two cachers. We searched up, down, in and out and couldn't find anything. Given the low difficulty rating we were surprised by our failure.
We will kept our eye on this one to determine whether maintenance is required, or whether it was our lack of effort causing our result.

Yep it was there....
In Geelong for work and decided to to knock over a cache or two...
I worked this series backwards, due to the fact I started from the southern end.

Better weather, and a more accurate GPS had us finding this cache without any trouble second time around. Found @ 13:00, signed log, took nothing, left nothing. Had us laughing at our antics last weekend in the rain - just a tad off course. Thanks again for this one, RedPaw64!
Got to the co-ordinates for this location just as another shower finished, and after our success with #3, thought we were going well. Unfortunately, this one had us foiled... which was very frustrating on such a cold, wet and blow-ey day. Looked all over the place, but couldn't come up with the cache. Thank goodness the rotten weather had frightened all muggles away. Could see the irony in that we seem to only find every SECOND cache in this series - we just don't like it! Doh [B)]
18/08/12 9:41 AM Find #1200 Its back out with Square Pegs towards Geelong to pick up a few caches and explore some areas we've never been to. We've had all sorts of weather with rain, cold wind and some welcome sunshine to help us along. The cache was nicely hidden. Thanks RedPaw64.
There were very few muggles about this morning as it was still cold and rainy. After a wander along the linear track we were soon at GZ, and made a quick grab. Thanks RedPaw64 for the cache.
Not so much foot traffic during today. Some nice camo on the cache - it blends in well. TNLN TFTC
Found on a day round this area of Geelong, cleaning up what I've left before. Parked the car halfway between #4 and #5 and did the two walks before returning to the car. This one was in hand after the GPS got it's bearings right. My Thanks to RedPaw for the cache and for the series.
Finally a quick find with this one after 2 failures with others in the series - TFTC!
Decided that I would walk to find the next two caches. It was a quite pleasant walk - a pity the line was closed.

A line of small green boxes showing on a map.
We went for number 4 and had it in a snap.
That leaves only 4 that we still have to trap!
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt RedPaw64.

Fourth find today. Fortunately reasonably quick as the mozzies were ready for lunch! TFTC

One of 46 finds for the night while out with my good mate Blacklegend (Marshy) for a night cache run down to Geelong. Third of 5 of the Linear cache series we did tonight - saved the multi till next time we are in the area. Cache found and log signed. Thanks for the hide.
One of 46 finds for the night with my good caching mate Marty (Quasar3671) on our Melbourne to Geelong night cache run. Working through a nice series. TFTC.
Found today at 13.40hrs, had to leave it initially as about 30 "nurses/carers" were out having a puff very close by. Came back after #4 and luckily found the area quite. Nice Hide TFTC.

12 of thirty finds for the day on our try-and-find-as-many-multi-caches during our G-Town visit.
Another quick find. Lots of creepy crawlies find refuge to the outside of this container (ewww!).
Again we wished we had our bicycles for this one!
Thanks again RedPaw64.

I noted evidence at this location that drug users had been there - homemade bongs, vanilla essence bottles (for the alcohol content, presumably), etc.
Id suggest cachers should keep an extra careful eye out while searching in case of nasty muggles or, although I didnt SEE any evidence of hard drugs, potentially discarded needles.

Walked back to this one while we pondered where Mckean Linear #5 was!!!
Nice quick find in a very cachy hiding spot! All contents lovely & dry though!

Find #26 of 27 on our day in Geelong. Quick find under the unnatural pile of rocks. Good to see Eudes had been here earlier today, too. Cheers!
I hadn't had a chance to look for this one on previous trips down to Geelong for a variety of reasons so it was good to have the chance today. I parked around the corner and walked straight to GZ for a nice easy find right on 11:00 to finally complete this great series . It's a pity I wasn't a bit later as I might have had the pleasure of meeting up with with pwags. Next time .

Searched in what i thought was a likely spot for a hide for about 5 minutes and couldnt find, I was about to give up on trying to find it until I tried to look at it from another angle, very soon after I realised my mistake and soon had the container in hand, Took Army Man, Left Butterfly & Rooster TFTC

Nice walk on part of the rail trail that I had not been on before. Had to walk past the cache and double back to avoid some mugglers but found it without any problems and without being seen. TFTC

This one took us a while to find, and like previous finders, we had to use monkey tools to get the container out of its hiding spot.
The log was a little damp after the torrential downpour earlier today, but still signable.
Thanks for the hide!

Hmmm, somehow we skipped No4. However, this too proved to be an easy find. Now for the walk back to the car. It was getting cold and blustery, and we didn't fancy walking too far to the next couple, and getting stuck in a downpour. Thanks again RedPaw64 FTC, TNLNSL
