SS Ngoiro is facing the water, or is it the land - great double ended SS. Stopped here for a tasty (but expensive) brunch. Looks like recent landscaping near GZ. Interesting to see a new life for an older gal.
Had a look on our way up the hill and stopped off again on the way back down, but no luck. Now we know why!
No luck, and the item in the hint wasn't spotted. Suspect the restaurant has recently added the area to it's outdoor facility?
A neat little hide and a relatively quick find, with a nice place to seat and sign the log. Won't have known about this place if it weren't for geocaching! Thanks for bringing us here.
WE HAVE HAD TERRIBLE STORMY WEATHER AND THIS CACHE COULD NOT BE FOUND, HOWEVER WE BELIEVE IT TO HAVE BEEN WASHED AWAY IN THE HARBOUR....CAN YOU HAVE A PEEK AND GET BACK TO US...

Quick find in a very nice spot. Fortunately for us, the SS Ngoiro was deserted today.

We spent a very damp weekend in Tairua and surroundings. The girls did an adventure race with swimming, mountainbiking, tubing and trekking. Me as support team. Arriving on Friday night I went for a run. Crossed via a shortcut from Gazebo Lookout on low tide across the estuary. Had to take my shoes off. Interesting cache site! Thanks for the cache!
Tried this yesterday but too many people on the boat. Up bright and early so easy find without on lookers. BTW we were in our motorhome looking for somewhere to stay the night in Tirua when we stumbled on the "park-over-property" offer by the boat. That's what the wings sign is about !! So thanks for bring to us to this place.
Hot day but thankfully nobody around GZ. Rather odd place for this old lady to end up!
Thanks Glyn
Thanks Glyn
Had seen her on a quick recce on our arrival to Tairua. Easy to figure out where she was. Had to do a couple of circuits round her to find "olde prop"! TNLNSL
Found while out with Naki Clows while on Holiday in Tairua. Love the harbour. TFTC

Lots of people around today enjoying the summer weather. Were able to nab the cache without any problem and admired the views. Nice little hidey hole too. TFTC
Lovely old boat, nicely done up for its new life. Passengers were enjoying themselves. Interesting cache find, nice spot. Has been many years since we visited these parts and was good to see it all again. TFTC.
Sneaky hide. And another FTF - 4th for the day so far.
Thanks,
Chris & Vera
