As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Out on a mission to chalk up as many finds today as possible. Saw that this one has not been found for some time but decided to have a quick look anyway. After a short search I came up empty handed. Must agree with the previous cachers, it appears that this one has vanished.
Three DNF's I suspect this one is gone, can the owner please check or archive. Thanks
Knew this might be missing but was in the area so thought I would fossick anyway. Great location for a cache, but came up empty handed after 45mins. Had a wide search area as well. Perhaps cache owner to check??
I'm certain the cache is no longer there. 4 times down here turning the entire place upside down and inside out. Could we possibly check if the cache is in fact still there? It's really annoying when this is the only cache on your list you don't have haha
Couldn't find this despite having a good look around. Was quite messy around the GZ.
3.50pm.A bit steep and slidy approached from the way we did but we had it in hand quick enough. This was real cause for celebration - our 900th cache find!!!!!. And what a pleasant tranquil spot to reach that number.
Added a green glitter glue tube and took a couple of green spikey balls.

Argh! We travelled over the stormy blue from the land known as Shelly Beach. LAND AHOY, we dropped anchor, climbed over board and started on our journey to the lost treasure. Lost our treasure map on the stormy seas but with thy pirate instincts made the find. Thanking ya for the cache and green treasure
Found on an East Auckland and beyond cache raid with Kiwi Explorer. Quite an out of the way spot but nice to visit anyway. TFTC, Biggles.
Found with Biggles while on a tour of East Auckland. A lovely area but well out of my price range, nice to dream though. Thanks.
Was about to walk out onto the sand, but decided to check one other spot first. Good thing we did!
Popped in to find this one while in the area. Carpark was empty so we had the place to ourselves to complete our search. Quick find and on our way to the next on the list T4TC.
After seeing some of the earlier camo's from WackyB, I was thinking as I approached GZ, that this was not going to easy. Turn out to be a quick in and out in the rain!! Thanks.
The grass, in this case, was browner, and very wet.
There was a guy in a car, I thought he might be a fellow cacher, but no.

It would be very easy to be green with envy at some of the huge mansions and beautiful grounds in this area. Pleasant wander to GZ and a nice easy find of this green cache. Thanks.

A tad hard to see the grass at 6pm in mid winter but the torch did help on this one and a little bit of muscle and we had it found.

I agree the grass is always greener. Lovely drive in, glad I don't have to maintain this sort of real estate.

Last of the day and the weekend of geocaching fun. Lovely park and nice to look back at some of the other caches we got or missed. Thanks for the fun. Out: Dot to Dot puzzle book, In: Green Smiley Eraser. SL TFTC.
Live locally and didn't know that this park was here. Nicely hidden. Now to find the related caches.
Man I don't think even lotto could pay for one of those houses. Amazing. Quick find at GZ, TFTC
Wow! nice houses! Would love to have one here!.
Nobody here today so it was a quick uninterrupted find.
- Frog & Springy Key chain.
+ Tree and soldier.

Had this one on my ToDo list for a while. Had some time before I went home. It was raining and the muggles in the car on the carpark (what were the doing there?) must have thought "what is he doing there?" Anyway I found it, took GeoCoin Wanted to drop Timmy the Traveller TB but didn't fit. Left green spinner.

What a lovely area. We decided to take the cache owners advice and had a picnic at a nearby by table. Wonderful views of the Creek while we munched on our sandwiches... Magic!
No problems with the cache. Left a green spikey ball.

A nice picturesque hide away! And after we took the kayak for a spin and found plenty of spots worthy of a aquatic cache. TFTC
Quick find with return2nai while I was being attacked by a tree on the way! Took dot-to-dot book and added green frog Croc decoration. Such a nice spot we took our new kayak for it's first spin up the creek. The fun part was hauling it (all awkward 56kilos!) back up the steep hill to the car! Phew!
I was intending to sail in my sunburst from Mellons Bay to Browns Is to visit robbie, but conditions got a bit boisterous around music point.
So as any keen cacher would do I went for Plan B and scooted all the way to Shelly Bay, and rowed up to the reserve. Thankfully the tide was full, but I had to be quick because it had turned.
A quick run to GZ and a quick find, then I had a sit down to enjoy the surroundings for a few minutes before heading back to Jay Vee.
It is such a nice spot that I left behind the down under explorer TB, otherwise TNLN.
Getting back to Mellons Bay was fun too, as by now the wind was up around 20kt, thankfully it eased about 1/2 way back.

If you come early, say around 0815, you don't get muggled. A very nice area. Loooovvved the big houses.

Last of the Wacky B caches of the day, all very enjoyable.
Quick find on this one though I had that Doh moment as I had already passed it and started looking in the nasty plant.

Was a hot day today, that water looked inviting!

Found the cache quite quickly, but only after taking possibly the most difficult route to the cache. Again it’s great to be able to search without constant muggles problems, a well-chosen site – Thanks.

We reckon all the houses round here have at least 25 rooms. Nice little reserve and like the theme idea. Co-ords a bit better at 825(S) and 057(E). Well done team. TFTC
In keeping with the Green theme I thought I'd better race off and make the effort to be FTF
Great spot and nice to be there before it gets too hot today.
