We apologise for any inconvenience caused to cachers who were unable to find this cache. It was last checked it on the 20th September 2010 after redbackspider suggested a cache check when it couldn't be found. At that time everything was operational and still in place but now it is missing again. As we are unsure of the reason or cause of it's disappearance for the third time we are sadly archiving this cache.
Sorry to say this one beat us, like others before us we searched for
well over 45mins to no avail.
We checked every rock but no cache.
The GPS was junping around quite a bit.
We will have to come back & try again.
TFTC Anyway.

Searched here, searched there, must of checked every rock around but couldn't located the cache. Did some more searching around and what do you know found the original log container (last entry was Pip & Robbie on June 16, 2008). Placed this small container under a rock. Can't find the latest container. Cache check will be required. TNSLLN

Down from Bowral... 4am in the morning (mum wanted to take pics of sunrise)...
Nice spot. 1 fisherman looking at us weirdly... then continued fishing...
I love this spot!
I was wondering... how do you get those types of containers... they are heaps cool!

#602 - Arrived at the carpark just on dusk, and it was pretty dark by the time we reached GZ. We were about to give up when Katastrophy just happened to wander into the correct location. Sometimes luck can be on your side. TFTC
Finally found it! Again, much turning of rocks, but this time the right one!
Thanks BlacknWhite for the cache in this lovely spot!

A perfect day, lovely area, crystal clear water, and very few people around, so I was happy to spend as long as it took to find this one. Unfortunatley, after an our I ran out of rocks to look at, and decided to admit defeat. Off to find "Bones of the Sea" perhaps instead.
After much deliberation and driving around we eventually worked out how to get to this one. Very tricky.

well we initially thought we could approach this from the nearby Earth cache.. wrong!!, and after much probing and driving we eventually found a CP then found a nice walk to the cache , phew, a nearby muggle was enjoying the sun while we snuck by them to retrieve the cache , I put my hand on the GZ only to find a cache guardian had also occupied the container, nearly fell off my perch ..
thanks for the great adventure...

2448 - During the Nowra Invasion a group of six including mtrax, Agent Basil, ACBC66, Tankengine and Marcus Vitruvius started at Kiama and worked south...
As the others have said we went about this one all wrong to start with !! After a few false starts we finally worked our way in - then we had to find the cache !! Luckily it was quickly spotted and all was good - thanks !

Reperio at 1400. It's amazing how the needle on a compass can lead you to be believe to go one way and be so close, yet so far. We had a couple of attempts from the coast coming straight from 'Who Painted The Rock', but as we soon found out, that was probably going to up the difficulty to about a 6 Eventually we back tracked out to the car park and found the much simpler way to GZ, where the well placed cache was found.
Gratias.

Well, that took somewhat (heaps) longer than it should of! We tried to come from the painted rock! Wow was that a challenge! Not only was there dense scrub, but there was tall bassalt towers, and a sewerage works! Phew! In the end, we returned to the car, and found a better way! Thanks heaps BlacknWhite!
Part of the Canberra invasion of Nowra. We tackled this a number of different ways - all wrong - assuming we could approach from the Earthcache. The actual finder had an underwear changing moment when a spider claimed ownership of the cache.
Better luck with this one the second time round. Although had lots of help this time - a group of 6 of us all cursing and swearing until Sam sings out 'Hey, what"s this...'? Very good hide. Thanks BlacknWhite.
11am. Helping Geobuddy look for this as they had a DNF before.
Searched everywhere until Mugglebuddy said "oh whats that!".
Great hide.
Ended up moving half the hill for this one.

Found this after a lot of head-stratching and a quick check on the internet phone to see the high difficulty rating. Eventually Eyespiral pointed Tarae's monkey feet in the right direction. A bit wet but still intact. TFTH! Signed the log.

After a DNF here a few months ago, I was keen to come back and get this one crossed off the list. Within 30 seconds of approaching GZ the cache was in hand. How is it that one day you can look for ages and not find it, then another day it appears so quickly. Thanks B&W. Great little bay.

Looked for too long but without success. I'll have a read of all the past logs and give it another go one day. Beautiful little bay - pity we didn't have time for a dip. Thanks B&W for showing us this great spot.

After about an hour of careful searching we had to admit defeat. Hope its still there.
This was a rather quick find for us today.
It is amazing how things change with 10 months and over 830 finds makes. We first attended this one on the 21st Feb 09 (aprox 120 finds at that time) with a DNF that we didn't log.
We look forward to catching up with fellow cacher’s at the Geocaching Association of NSW Nurragingy Christmas Party GC1ZCCX December 12 2009, were all going well this will be our 1000th find.
If you are not able to make the above event and we dont see you beforhand we'll see you all at the ICC Christmas Party GC21EP5, on the 17th or at the Oz Wagga Wagga Mega Event (April 2-5, 2010) GC1Y5R. It looks like they have recently hit the MEGA requirements, and we can’t wait to be part of it.
Merry Christmas
Happy and safe caching.

With excuse to the owner, I will only use this closest to home cache as a starting point for a geocoin!
Thanks Daljon for telling us about the cache. We went down there today and grabbed the cache to do some maintenance. The log book was still in the caches original position. We will have it back online soon. Thanks again.
Found this one quite quickly although it was not intact. One half was in one place and the other part was in another place. Have put it back together but there is NO log inside. Next person needs to put some paper into it, or the owner needs to do some maintenance. Loved the area and loved the cache. Found it on hubby's birthday.
After the third visit to this cache, bingo, perhaps with a bit of help. congratulations very clever hide. thanks
Technology isn't everything, sometimes you have to sit and think and observe.
We found it, quite a clever hide.

Another one glad to take off the list today. After reading the logs I knew what I needed to do and a quick look there soon had the cache in hand. The name is true but it does stump you a little. TFTC!
Well it seems we should of read a few previous posts first. We too thought, just maybe, we could walk to this one from 'The view is the bomb'. It took us a walk across many many rocks, but amazing views, to reach...a rock wall. Persisting past the film crew, and across more rocks we thought maybe we could reach 'bones by the sea'. But alas we ended at the base of the cliff with no way up. So turning around we walked back and drove around the other side. Another little walk later and we reached GZ. Now if we could just find that pesky cache. 5 mins, 10 mins and a glance in the right direction and there it was. Finally.
One of our bigger adventures.

I was here once before looking for this one and like some other logs, no, it wasn't to be found. I checked other logs again but took particular note about "not presuming anything" in the owners notes. I see why.... A good hide. Thanks.
I have not been to the Bone Yard for 20 years. I forgot how crystal clear the water is. Tools us a while to find this one but when when the penny droped it was easy.

We reached the same spot as a recent finder did with the same 1 metre accuracy on our GPSr. Lacking his cache location insight, we proceeded to turn over every rock in the vicinity and still couldn't find the elusive hide.
Went for this one after view but reach a wall of rock with 89m to go figured there had to be another approach back to set of stairs thought that had to be it only ended up at Rats poo works. will recheck ;logs
and google earth will be back....
and google earth will be back....
came down after work and with some searching and more searching found it not where i thought it might be thanks b.w
2028.
We made this one a lot harder than it needed to be after completing a nearby cache we headed straight across to these two caches and hit a wall, literally. Once we worked out the right way to the GZ we came down to this lovely little bay we wished we had brought our swimmers... It took us about 15 minutes to locate the cache, it all makes sense in the end....
Thanks BlacknWhite for the cache.

Standing with my device telling me I was in 1 meter reach and still had no idea where to look. Just sat down and thinking everything over suddenly it hit me. The difficulty was almost 5 stars so it couldn't be that easy and I was right. Luckily I am fit so trouble getting it, although there were a lot of ants fighting to keep the cache. Looged it at 8.45.

Easy find and great idea for a hide. Huntsman took a holiday and no where to be seen. Geoshell had the knowing.
Could not find this for love nor money, must have turned over every rock there was and still no cache. had to walk away with a DNF on this one.
Took a while with so many muggle on the beach, luckily at the other end. Looked all around and re read the previous logs to know what I should be looking for. Found quickly after the light switched on for me. Thanks for the hunt.
Found this one on the second attempt. Just Another Rock? A nice hide. I was sooooo close to it on the first attempt. TYFTC,
Tried this one last year but to no avail. Saw that it had been reinstated so thought that I would try it again. A lovely spot - well worth a visit and a swim as summer draws near. Had lunch here. Just another rock! The log said that we were looking for a micro. I think that we turned all little rocks and inspected all big ones. Perhaps I am on the wrong track. Too many rocks for us!
What a find. We scratched like bush turkeys for 20 minutes. The geokids gave up and tried a new activity. You have to give to the kids they will find anything. Yep they beat me to it. This one goes to the geokids, I was just a spectator. To BlacknWhite, well done, a challenging hide. SL
Last time we were here the co ords were different. Had the place to ourselves this afternoon, so had plenty of time to search. We felt confident that we would come up with the goods. Took plenty of time but still no luck. Will try again later.
Gone again.........
We will get a new container and enable this cache again shortly.

Well no luck here today although now reading the logs sounds like a good hide. Nice spot nonetheless.
BlacknWhite took pity at our ineptitude at finding their micros, and kindly gave us a hint for this one. So with renewed enthusiasm, we decided to try again today! Pip took off down the footpath before me (Um... I was watching all the surfers - yeah, that's it! O.k., it was raining and I didn't want to get drenched. ) It soon stopped, and off I went. As I started walking across the grass, a lady with a dog stopped me with an alarmed look on her face! With a backwards glance and an urgent whisper she told me to be careful, because there was a man acting strangely over there in the bushes! I thanked her, but couldn't help but smile! I told her it was my husband, and explained about Geocaching. That's the first time we've ever needed to do that! After she'd left, it didn't take long, when Pip said "Found it!". Sneaky hide and super cache cammo!!! This hide definitely taught us a valuable lesson! Pip signed the log, and replaced the cache. Thank you BlacknWhite - for the hint (it made all the difference in the world!), the hunt, the fantastic beach, and for the great cache!!!
P.S. Almost forgot to mention the spectacular waves (there even more surfers out there today!). A male Whipbird was down in the bushes near the grass calling, and the Superb Fairy-wrens were twittering away. Lovely area!

What a nice area, and what a view! It was also out of the cold, raging wind that was blowing today (there were even surfers out there). While a gray ibis like bird was hunting in the grass, and Willie Wagtails and Wrens twittered, we looked and looked, but finally had to admit defeat. We enjoyed the area though! Thank you for sharing this lovely park and beach BlacknWhite!
Sevabo and I were unable to find it because there had lots of rocks and leaves scattered everywhere. Also GZ was playing up so we gave up. Maybe next time we may come back? TFTH
This one took us a little while, we weren't thinking straight to begin with. In the meantime Odee made friends with a dog whose owner was on the otherside of the cove. Found it after realising it was a BlacknWhite cache, we've been so used to finding poor quality caches we almost forgot what a decent cache was like. Thanks for reminding us. Another great cache by BlacknWhite.
Yep this was my 4th visit. Turns out that I didn't check before attempt 3 and the location had changed. Anyway Nice hide. With all the rocks lying around, who would have thought that I was best suited to this cache...... TFTC Greg.
Back today and a quick find.
Walking down the path the GPS went a little loopy and pointed out to the "island" of rocks - Uh Oh we thought before it settled down and lead us straight to the cache.
The missus enjoyed retrieving the stash, it's been a few years since she had an excuse to perform the required actions
Thanks for the cache

we gave this one a good search and found tons of rocks but not the right one.
We had "accidently" came across a description of how the cache was hidden (no, not the cache name - an exact description) but it still didn't put us on the spot. We found two "items" right on GZ that looked likely but still nothing.
Will be back after the next successful find.

Grabbed this one after a quick jog down to GZ today.Had to wait a while for some sprinters to finish their training, and to move their dogs who were leashed almost on top of GZ.

Went snorkelling this morning, water warm, sunny day ... saw a stingray and a school of tiny garfish. We had heard of the cache here and knew where it roughly was so decided to hunt about. After about 5 mins scratching around I said "Buggered if I know" then we received enlightenment from the heavens, Bingo. Very clever container. Thanks BnW. (No pencil with us so we couldnt sign the log - will do next visit).
Wow where do i start??
I'm 15 and i had never even herd of geocashing i only joined up today!
My mate and i were just goin snorkling then we got out and then oh wait i cant spoil the location. he he he
well i couldn't believe what i found i was just shocked i thought there was drugs in the little container or something, i really was just confussed.
then i opened it up and there was a list of ppls names which i thought must be the drug dealers or something lol
but then i saw the web address so i went on it and read up on what geocashing is all about and it sounded like fun and i decided to join. Anyone out there know where gainsborough is?

A family of muggles on the beach just in front of GZ, unable to look without being obvious...To try again when I'm down this way.
I looked for this one on the way to the event today, but too many muggles at GZ. So I tried on the way home, and this time got lucky. It was all a matter of perspective! Thanks BnW

Called in after spending the morning looking over used cars at Albion Park. Had my daughter & one of her mates with me & younger eyes made this one much easier, with my daughter finding it in next to no time. The cache guardian today was a frog (I never mentioned the snake). Thanks BlacknWhite.
Had another go today. Called in after finding Wet & Wild but there were too many visitors (as opposed to too many rocks). Came back at about 4pm & had the place to myself. Did the same as last time but checked the base of the rocks thinking it might be similar to one I found near Dululu. No go there either. BIIK. Will give it one more go as a very attractive spot.

We came we looked we didn't find....... Well actually we stopped looking after a few minutes because the rain started pouring down. In the famous words of Arnie "I'll be back"
Had 4 geokids with me - they were quite proud of themselves when the eventually found it - a clever hide.
Just another rock, just another DNF! Too many rocks. Searched here & there, in nooks & crannies, even scrapped away the leaf litter but to no avail.
The lurer of FTF brought me to a spot where I found plenty of others with all forms of lurers trying to catch the big one, most them left me alone as they got wet and I stayed dry.
Found this sneaky hide only after I'd found a slippery creature waiting under a rock. Just another rock hey, that wasnt just another snake either.
Thanks BlacknWhite
