I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi TheWonderStuff
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Looked for quite a while with no reward the trees have all had a good scrathing around..I guess someone had a better use for it used gps and manual method
Unfortunately I have to add to the dnf trail. Searched several trees in case it had walked.
A DNF for me too. Checked out a couple of good tree candidates with great cache spots, but all empty.
We had a very nice holiday in New Zealand. Almost every day beautiful weather. We traveled with the camper home from the north to the south island. we have found a lot of very nice caches. Thanks for showing the nice places where we found the caches.
Greetings from the Netherlands

On our way to Rotorua stopped to grab this cache. Have passed by many times but never had time to stop so happy to get it. Thanks
A day out today, finding caches along the way. Beautiful spot for a walk and to find a cache.
Beautiful spot, have passed so many times over the years but our first time stopping. Left a trackable that had been lost for years that we found in an op shop!!
As expected the GPS in my phone was all over the place.
Thanks to the hint the cache was soon located.

Greetings from Tauranga. Very wet forecast today here so we thought we'd try Hamilton instead... and it was a good plan as the sunshine outweighed the few short showers in Hamilton and it did pour down all day in Tauranga. Always interesting to explore new areas. Such an evocative place, thank you for bringing us here. Earns a fav from us. Many items left in the honour of Tukorehe, some quite valuable. Nice sized cache. Took a TB and added two more. Cache is all good. TFTC
We always enjoy driving through the Glade, but have never stopped before. What a beautiful atmospheric spot for a cache, and cool how people have turned the nearby memorial stone into a shrine with offerings of all sorts of interesting things! Shame we didn't have more time as we would have explored the bush tracks a bit more. We loved that the cache container was a decent size, and we dropped some trackables to continue their journey.
We passed by on the way to Auckland and could not see anywhere to park so decided to stop on the way home when we would be on the right side of the road. When we did it was an easy find and we were rewarded with a TB. TFTC
Quick cache stop on the way home with Miss 4. Dropped a spiderman toy in the cache.
Never stopped here before, was a nice location for a cache. Found no problems. TFTC.
Have often thought about stopping here for a look in this cool spot under the trees......decided today was the day, so stopped with EIR-0T for a quick look....nice big cache here....

Today we had our second day in Rotorua and made a trip around the wonderful Hobbiton area in Matamata. Special emphasis had we on a visit in Hobbiton. On this trip we searched, found and logged many caches, too. The weather was bad in the morning, not sunny, but it got better and worse all day long, including raining from time to time. Only sometimes then there was some sun to be seen.
Almost no muggels observed us as they had better things to do than observing two geocachers.
Thanks to TheWonderStuff & Rick-a-mortis for showing us this location and for the fun we had at Everglade Stopover (Waikato). The search we had here today didn't take too much time.
Greetings from Germany and hope to see you soon in the forest.

This was the first day of my twelve day romp to go to the Wellington Mega. Today I am heading towards Rotorua where I will stay for two nights. I never seem to set aside time to concentrate here, so this is my chance.
Stopped here on my way. TFTC.

Nice area which we would have passed by on our way to Rotorua. Thanks for making us to stop here
I've always wanted to stop here but the traffic is usually going to fast. I managed to lose the cars behind me today by pulling over before entering the glade so I was free to stop here.
Going for a walk here will have to wait for another day when the weather is not so wet.

Cool little find! We've been wanting go get this one for a while. Will probably come back with our walking gear next time and walk further into the forest
Our first cache in a very long time. Travelling to Rotorua so stopped for our first NZ find. So good not to be constantly on the lookout for snakes and spiders while caching!

On my way south to Rotorua to collect caches for a few challenges inc Jasmer and the magical creatures and the 400 challenge. Phew that's quite a handful.
Have been thru this 'tunnel' before but it's been years ago and long before caching. Nice to return and come for this cache now. Love that tree. It's a fav of mine, ammo can no longer exists but a big round plastic container does.

I remembered (just in time) that there was a cache he that I wasn’t able to get to heading north on another occasion. Really glad to safely stop and locate it this time round. TFTC!!
Meandering towards Rotorua to catch up with a friend and decided to stop for a few as yet unfounded-by-me caches that I tend to zoom past. I thought this was a newer hide until I came to log it. I wonder if I forgot to log this one after a previous visit? Coz I’ve definitely stopped to cache here before, years ago. Anyway, it’s a spot well worth marking & I was very happy to revisit. Cache all good today, dropped off a TB, tftc
I was very moved by the plaque in tribute to the Ancestor of the people who used to own this land. After hearing the heart wrenching story of the Maori people from our tour guide in Auckland yesterday, it was at least comforting to know that not all their history has been forgotten. Glad I didn't try to find this one with my phone. My gps knew which way it wanted me to go and didn't change its mind, not even once. tftc!
Solved a few Rotorua puzzles yesterday so decided to pick them up today. Took a roundabout route to grab a few strays on the way. Wandered around for a while before I saw the wood for the trees. All in good condition. TFTC.
I have always loved Fitzgerald Glade, ever since I was a little seagnoid. But we never stopped here so I did not know this plaque was there. That's for bringing me here - gets a favourite. I am caching by cellphone rather than GPS today, and it did particularly well in the bush, I was quite impressed.
Found a trackable in this cache, but not the one currently logged as here. Could the CO please mark that one as missing.
Still chasing after the planets, doing my part for the Planetary Pursuit promotion. of the 500 points I need to reach Pluto, I now have over 2000. Where does that put me? The Oort Cloud?

Have never stopped here and was surprised to see the monument and what appears to be small tracks. GPS was all over the place but the hint was our saving grace.
I've driven past this site for so many years and had no idea there was a monument here. Thanks so much for introducing me to this piece of history. GPS said 'go here'... then it said 'go there'... then it said 'go back to where you were'... after a bit of frustration I went back to the monument and used the hint and hey presto there was the cache! Thanks so much
Was going to Rotorua for the day and couldn't resist the chance to pick up the odd cache on the journey. Was excited to see this cache located in Fitzgerald Glade / Tukorehe Scenic reserve. I had no idea that there was a monument located here. Thanks for the cache
NZPatoto and I were heading to Rotorua to visit (find) our grandparent's and Aunty's graves. NZPatoto organised 6 caches to find along the way. Found all 6. Had a nice day out, I shouted lunch in Rotorua as NZPatoto drove. The rain started when we decided to do some shopping before returning home. #2. Parked in layby. Didn’t really need the GPS as counting the 36 paces worked find. Interesting root system. Easy find. NZPatoto picked up a travel bug 8B3QXX. I’m still not totally sure what/how they work so have yet to do one. TFTC
Nahkins and I were heading to Rotorua to visit our grandparent's and Aunty's graves. I decided to do some geocaching on the way. Had 6 lined up and found all 6. Had a nice day out and the rain only started when we decided to do some shopping before returning home. #2. Parked on the layby. It was a nice trot into the bush. Loved the root system of the tree. I picked up a travel bug 8B3QXX. I now have to find a suitable place to put it. Log all good. TFTC.
We were on our way to Rotorua after visiting the Hobbiton Movie Set. I saw this cache on my GPS screen and as we got closer we figured we could pull over. What a great spot. We got some pictures at the monument. I will try to remember to upload them when we get home. We made an easy find of the cache in this pretty forest. The WaywardWoman decided to release her new Travel Bug in this cache. Thanks for putting this cache here and giving us an opportunity to see this. A favourite point from me.
#2282 A sure number of steps as it dizzles in the area. Quick find. Replaced as found. Heading to Rotorua from Hamilton, visiting from Canberra. TFTC.
We had spent the morning doing the touristy thing in Rotorua, and now we had to drive north - our holiday time was running out! This cache was a short stop on that drive and wasn't too hard to find.
After spending the morning at the Whaka Maori village we started west again. Straightforward find, once we counted the paces along the correct path
Found with Dirtyhelmut on the way to Rotorua. We made a quick stop and sign the logbook. TFTC
On our way to Rotorua we made a quick stop to found and log this one ! Thank you for the Cache !
We're finding a whole lot of places we never knew existed today. No1. Was interested in all the memory tokens left on monument...great learning opportunity. Thanks for cache... left an orange gem for a another jnr helper.
Greetings from Australia, we were visiting the area and as we headed through exploring we managed to make a couple of stops to see if we could add some smiles, Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful area, log signed and replaced as found, TB dropped Thanks for the cache and the fun
Another great spot for a cache, nice area with the amazing plants and an interesting piece of history, we left an offering after signing the cache log. Thanks to the CO for bringing us here, hi from Aust. Cheers Kookacrew
Found on the way home from Arapuni/Putaruru with livee_nz. Awesome to have a cache in this area. Have always wanted an excuse to wander in this little area. Found the cache without too much difficulty. TFTC
Quick stop on the way home from geowandering with georunnermatt, I've always wanted to stop in the everglades so this was my chance! Great sized cache! Tftc
Master SethRaven and I are off to Rotorua for a night . . . . . . this was our second stop of the day. Once the GPS settled down we quickly located the cache and it was a great sized container too I must say! Thanks for the cache . . . . . . fabulous little stop.
Have been meaning to pick this one up for awhile, such a nice spot for a cache nice and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle. Lol I was expecting an "ammo can" not a camp can. Tftc
Passed this spot when driving from Coromandel to Rotorua.
This was an interesting place.
Thanks for showing. Without geocaching we just had driven by.

For us a perfect place to launch our second New Zealand starting trackable.

A quick stop on our way through to rotorua. Not much traffic so a good time to stop. Soooo much rubbish around, which is a real shame. A quick find using the hint as my gps was hopeless. Placed trackable to continue its journey. Tftc
Driven thru the Everglades so many times, always enjoyed it, but never stopped before. Lovely wee walk and interesting plague. Thanks
Parked up for a short walk and found the cache. Signed the log and replaced as found
