Logs
We continued today our tour of Queensland and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.The weather was - said in one word simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood. The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging. Thanks to lochb for the generation of this nice cache Try It! (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they happened.Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood. This is amazing cache its been there coming up to 7 years .. loved the stop for this one
This was our first time finding geocache.A great way to start found it nicely hidden
On the way in from Brisbane from the Labour Day March and decided to grab this one! All good here. Thank you lochb for placing this cache for me to enjoy!
Sadly, looked around scratching our heads. The clue didnt seem to help. Had no means of reaching up if higher than head height. Others say easy to find? Not for me.
No evidence of an emu farm, let alone a try-it emu farm nearby, so perhaps it has moved on since this geocache was published within the last 15 years. In contrast, the cache was a quick find with a telltale sign, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks lochb for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was nice to have found this oldie 03/2008 hidden cache, of which is one of Queensland's 1000 oldest yet active geocaches.----------Today, it was an early morning start to hike Mount Goolman, followed by a trip west to the Lockyer Valley. The morning's hike with [bedmakerTG](https://coord.info/PR126KQ) and [wayn0](https://coord.info/PR8DMMF) was an enjoyable four-hour walk, with surrounding views and a large goanna on a log. Following the hike, I had rough plans to geocache around Ipswich, but these carelessly changed as I headed west and visited the Lockyer Valley region off the Warrego Highway, which included the towns of Marburg, Plainland, Laidley, Grandchester, and Forest Hill. Whilst visiting Laidley, I also completed the [Laidley - Fire and Flood](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/5807bcfa-8fe5-4aba-b036-4f4bb6f83116) Adventure Lab.
First find for My wife and I in year's looking forward to more in the future. Thanks

We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Today we headed off from Brisbane up around Ispwich towards Toowoomba.
Stopped off here where a quick find was made at GZ. Sorry not ready to try these today.
Thanks lochb for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

I thought the sign had been destroyed until I turned around. Thanks for the cache. We are visiting from Gosford NSW.
Heading off for a weekend road trip to St George for a conference with a group of friends from Brisbane, I took the opportunity to explore the local areas and grab some caches along the way of course!
It was a wonderful experience and I was able to see so much. Thanks for all the caches along the way, and I promise I'll be coming back to get the ones I didn't chance upon this trip.
Having found a few other quick stops along the way I figured I would pull off and locate this one. A quick stop across the road and I spotted GZ. Cache was located quickly, log was signed (although a bit damp) and all returned as found. Back to the car to continue my journey.
Thanks so much for maintaining this cache.

Quick little catch, unfortunately everything was mouldy and the book very wet. So we didn't sign or take/leave anything but we might go back and clean it out and put another book in; If no one beats us to it!
Found with 1minniemoo and saintsmadhouse today on an outing to turn these greenies into smilies. After discussing this adventure for the last month or so, we had decided that today was going to be the day....and that was about as much planning as had been completed prior to meeting up in a semi central location. From there, we had a more solid plan at least until lunch. It was a great day and I got home roughly 13 hours after I left :> We have plans for our next adventure but no dates - we'll get there :>
Tftc, lochb, quick park and grab

A very old undertaker style car pulled up opposite us. It was turquoise with black curtains. I wondered if it was operational or for theatre? Anyway cache was easy to dig out. Tftc
With a work trip for Monday Tuesday Wednesday in Queensland I took the advantage and came up earlier to find caches and visit a few places I haven’t seen before. The day today started in macleay island and ended up in Toowoomba.
22 caches today which was an ok day, with a few great views among them.

A quick find once I headed to the right tree.

30/5/21 Find #4823
Today Fangsoki and I needed to head to Toowoomba, to hang around to play taxi to my youngest child, 1GiantPanda, and his best friend upon completion of their weekend volleyball tournament. So we decided to goal for today was for me to collect some of the older caches around Toowoomba and along our journey.
This was the first, and we took the exit with a large group of motorbikes, heading off for their own day of adventure.
They disappeared into the distance, and I crossed the road to make a quick find - especially as the container had not even been covered in its hiding spot.
Log signed, it was a pretty good start to today’s achievements.
Thanks for the cache lochb.

TFTC. We parked up at Rosewood for the night after the short run from Lawnton. After lunch we went out for an explore around the area. Using caching as our guide. Acouple of cemeteries and the Ipswich racing precinct made for an enjoyable couple of hours.
Plenty of emus showing some interest in our activity.

It’ll take me days to drive back to Deception Bay at this rate. Driving home form catching up with dad at a nearby servo before he heads west for grey nomad travel. I need to cross the highway so why not grab a few smiles before doing that safely. TFTC

Out and about today for a few older caches on a big round trip. First stop was actually here, a really quick stop at the stop sign where everyone else seems to also be stopped.
Thanks lochb for entertaining me at this location.

Exactly as described... a quick drive by... I can’t see any signs for Emus though... perhaps after 12 years that business has moved on... much like the emus I would guess... tftc...
Was looking for a try it emu farm sign but followed the navigation and found it easily!
Thanks lochb for the cache. Nicely hidden. Have driven past so many times over the years. Today after paying our respects at the nearby cemetery we made a quick dash across the road to find the treasure. All good with the cache!
