Sadly it appears the cache, whilst on moderatly high ground, was washed away when the recent deluge turned the creek into the River Nile.
Hayden will create a new and even better cache for MkIII... stay tuned....

After searching for a while, we thought we would be sending an email seeking some additional clues but with some perseverence, we eventually located the cache. TFTC Garfield69au
My 100th cache & it was this one! Finally, after 4 attempts I found it!
First two attempts, to be fair, were nowhere near the actual location...coords were WAY off!
Third attempt, we were close, but still no luck. I had geo-girl's cousins with me & where they said they'd looked, I'm sure they really didn't.
Forth time lucky, thanks to a hint from froginasock.
I actually wondered if it had been muggled, as we found a toy dinosaur & another plastic toy around where we were looking, but they may have been dropped by some other unsuccessful cachers.
Glad this one's difficulty has been increased...doesn't make me feel quite so inept!
TFTC, (if not for the frustration!)

Given the few recent DNF's I thought we'd better have a visit - and yes - I can confirm the cache is still high and dry and in very good condition. The nature of the camo has given the container almost stealth-like qualities.
A few have asked for extra clues - that's actually a real challenge but if you email me i'll do my best!
Given the camo and the fact that the area is now quite lush with vegetation i'm going to up the difficulty rating a little.
Enjoy the hunt!

No luck with this one. Water has been quite high. Might be an idea to check on it. Nathan.
Looked but no luck today, lots of debis in the surrounding trees indicating high water, but will return for another look.

Over here from Perth on a geocaching/visit-the-family holiday. Out today caching with Questing4. Took some looking but eventually found it. Nicely hidden. TFTC.
This was a very clever hide, my co-ords were a bit out but with help from Aus Trackers we found it. TFTH
Found it eventually, had a search party of 2 adults and 6 kids but still took a while.
About 3rd or 4th attempt at this one. New coords took me to a completely different spot, but still a DNF.
Must be blind!!! [:(!]
If anyone is willing to put me out of my misery by giving me a bit of a clue, I'd appreciate it.

Very nice camo on this cache. Almost dismissed it completely!!
Took a little green frog, Left TB.
(Didn't see the GeoCoin that was supposed to be there?)
Cheers, nice one.

Had the old co-ords but still sniffed it out OK with the help of some previous logs. Love the cam job, very unique! Grabbed the TB but didn't see the Yowie? SL TFTC
This cache has been cleaned up, new log book and some new swapables plus dropped in a TB.
I will also refresh the coords.

[Well after a couple of attempts at this cache I have finally found it (thanks to help from Everlasting).
I couldn't sign the log as the cache was full of water and log book in bad shape. I dried it out as best I could but it will need some TLC.
Left some stickers.
I grabbed a fresh fix on the location which is ]S Two Seven° Two Four point Zero Five Seven E One Five Two° Five Eight point Five Eight Five[. Hopefully this will help.

Could not find. Will try again over the weekend, looks like this one might be a bit tough for one of my first cache's
Aaaaah found it about over 10 - 15 metres away from GZ. Phew!!!. Accompanied with Patox. Good hidden spot. Took: Cachosphere Geocoin and Hammer Head Shark TB. SL. Thanks Garfield69au for organising the cache and hunt.
It's taken us a few weeks to get back here but geo-girl & I had 20 minutes this afternoon and decided to have another go at this one. We used 2 GPSr's to try to find the cache this time. Used the "trolley bridge" to get to the other side, & hunted and hunted (again).
We still can't find this one. Don't know why we've had so much trouble. Even got one of my hiking boots soaked for the cause, but still no success.
I'll try again...DNF's drive me crazy

I was a bit worried I wouldn't find this one with all the DNF's but if the owner says it's there it must be - and it is The geocoin listed on the cache page wasn't in the cache, I left a TB and a geocoin. TFTC and thanks for whoever stole the trolleys and dumped them in the creek, my feet stayed dry thanks to them!
Arrrrggggghhhh. This hide is going to be the end of me. I am sure I have walked over it a million times now but just can't find it. This is my second attempt and the GPSr had me on both sides with no success.
The logs were making me think it was possibly similar to Cache In The Middle on Mt Cootha. I guess I will have to come back for a third try some time.

Sent the Geobrats for a look since there's a couple of recorded DNFs.
Glad to say the cache is still high and dry.
Happy hunting!

Tried to find this cache but had no success. Area looks pretty washed out after the heavy rain the other night. Can somebody please confirm the cache survived?
Looked for a little while this afternoon but did not find, & left when it started to rain.
Looking at the logs, perhaps we'd better look a bit further a field with our "cacher's eyes" instead of the GPS.
We'll try again within the next week.

Find 18 of 42 on a day of caching with Kholometers and Tratty. After munching on some pies for lunch, Tratty came up with the goods in finding this clever camo cache. The coords were a bit out too which didn't make it easier! - TNLN, TFTC.
We probably should have read the logs for this one before looking today. Geoson and I hopped from one side of the creek to another but did not come up with the goods. GPS was all over the place. Will return for a longer hunt some other time. TFTH.
Found well hidden but 18m from where the GPS was telling us. Don't know whether the coords or the skybirds are off. If you having trouble locating it, maybe use your cachers eye rather than the GPS. Camo is very good and should definitely help keep the Muggles from finding it. TFTH
Cords jumping around, but we got to it, lovely cammo, cool cache!!
Happy Birthday!!

Nicely camo'd but visited this one with TheWonderstuff who's a bit of a camo master himself so it didn't take us too long to find.

Checked the cache today after a couple of DNF reports - glad to say the cache is high and dry.
Myself and lochb couldn't find this one today... we thought there was a possibility that the cache had been washed away (?)
It looked as if the water level of the creek had risen a bit above GZ in the last week or so ... is the cache still there? I just realized that we didn't read the maintenance log properly, and weren't looking for a camouflaged screw top. Next time.

Having a week off work has been fantastic, and I finally got a chance to fix this cache.
This has ben renamed MkII as the original cache was muggled some time ago.
The new cache is a screw top container (quite big still), and is very heavily camouflaged so hopefully it will sit a while longer.
I have also moved the cache someways from the original location and increased the terrain level (and the mozzie level) accordingly.
Enjoy the hunt!

Yet another park on Mongys places to hide crossed off
Cache took a few seconds to find as we were looking all over the usuall type places, without reading the clue properly. That will teach us.
Cache number 500 in just under 13 months. Not too bad for a couple who now only do a maximum of 5 hrs caching a week (and lucky to do that). 72 days of caching. At this stage, we'd like to blame Wingaap and Sunshine Toledo who both had a hand in starting us off in this sport.

Stopped by for a visit. Thanks to whoever slightly adjusted its position to blend in a bit better.
Dropped off a Geocoin.

Now that was a slightly different hide. Took a while before i bumped into the correct location. TFTC
THENANKS went out caching today with 'Liz and Bruce' and this was the twenty-first of 34 finds for the day. [^] We were surprised by this cache due to the nature of the hide. We've not seen one quite like this before.
Mumma NANKS had her birthday three days ago and Granny NANKS' birthday is today!
IN : A gross squash ball thing and a TB
OUT: A scouting patch.

Happy Birthday Hayden. Found the cache this evening high and dry. SL. Thanks for the hunt.
Found with geonephew 'Bedmaker' who can't play at the moment because of a broken wrist ... but he can still cache. A quick find, this one. We signed the log and I took a red necklace and left 'Robin' TB.
Happy Birthday Hayden, and thanks for the cache. Geoson and I had fun finding it and then had a play in the playground.

So sorry, have been very slack with logging this find - not sure what happened to my brain!!!! I've been waiting for a cache to be placed in this park! Thanks.
oops forgot to log this. found in company of Dizzyanne. Many Happy Returns Hayden. TFTC
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty at 3:14pm. This cache seems to be quite exposed so I hope it survives. This was a new park to us and has lots of playing equipment. Happy Birthday, I know it is late but better late than never. TNLNSL TFTC
Happy Birthday for last week Hayden! We saw this cache from quite a distance as we approached GZ. Nice park here - Miss Steve had her eyes on the playground before we even stopped the car.
The cache is in good condition. We made no swaps, but picked up a geocoin. Just as we left GZ, a car load of muggles arrived to make use of the cricket nets - timing! Thanks for the cache!

Found Kaz Koala Geocoin in the cache. Logging it in and out so that Kaz's visit counts in its travels.
Found this cache after a few minutes of searching. No swaps made. Happy 10th Birthday Hayden.
Happy Birthday Hayden....I hope you had a great day
Walked straight up to the cache. An interesting 'hide'. The cache was dry and in good condition.
Thanks for the cache and the introduction to yet another park I didnt know existed.
Hope you had a happy birthday, Hayden. The geokids were very excited to find presents in the cache. Luckily (for me) there was one each. We popped in a some goodies for the next kids to find - necklace, bracelet, car and um, something else.
Arrived just before a family came to play cricket so we had to employ stealth mode. We decided to make a day of it and have a long play and fire up the BBQ after a quick dash to the local shops for some snags.
Thanks for a great day and a great cache.

23:15hrs there is always an easier way to a cache then the way I seem to go. But none the less found this good hide. TFTC.
It is not often I am sitting at home at the computer when the notification comes in. This time, I was there and lo and behold it was less than a kilometer from home, and I was ready to trot!!!
Cache located quite easily at 1750hrs (about 10 mins after the listing... quick huh) for a *FTF*
The rating seems a little high (I would suggest difficulty of 1 and terrain of 1.5)
I declined to take a "boy" lucky dip as I think the kids would appreciate it more. Happy birthday Hayden. WHat a top way to celebrate a birthday!
