We knew we would not find a cache here, but it is such a beautiful view up here that we decided that more people should see this view. So we placed a little red box with a logbook, so that more geocachers can enjoy this view.

Hi Cachers,
ANZAC over Alice has been replaced and is back in business - special thanks to zellan for the help!
ANZAC over Alice has been replaced and is back in business - special thanks to zellan for the help!
Back in Alice two years after we were last here. Then, it was Darwin to Uluru. Now it’s 17 days on the Larapinta trail. Shopping day today. Saw that the cache had been replaced and that is indeed the case. I dropped a small TB in.
I have placed a spare box and a log at the coordinates given and covered it with 2 stones.
Help! Sorry cachers, ANZAC over Alice appears to have gone walk-a-bout once again. If any of the 'locals' would be willing to replace the cache, somewhere near the original co-ordinates and let me know what adjustments are required, I would be very grateful. Unfortunately I don't get to Alice as often as I'd like to.
Thank you, way-finder

Found after enjoying some lunch and a view that comes from this spot. We had a few muggles around the area but we pulled up in front of the gz and used our 4 wd as a screen while we had a discreet search and soon had the sneaky cache in hand and logged. Thanks way-finder for the cache and the views.
Found last night at sunset.
A really beautiful display of honour on the drive up.
Thanks

Find it without a pen. Log is fairly tattered and will require replacement in the not too distant future.

Took walk to the top mid-morning. Very nice view of the city. Thanks for bringing me up here. SL thanks for the cache
A beautiful view over Alice! Took us a little time to uncover it, but we used our previous cache finding skills to find it using the only One Way it could be found. Of course, there was also the view that was cast over the town which magnificent, although the sun was a tad glary!

First i took a view photos of the view. There were some muggel watching me. So i went back up and took more photos. Then back to gz the muggel were gone. I looked around. I had something in mind and it was right.
The log is a bit ripped at the end.
I signed it and put it back.

Great views and an interesting hide. A great combination. Thanks for placing a cache here.
We had a good look at Alice from the top and then walked down to the cache. Clever hide - thanks for the great location and the cache.
After our arrival in Alice Springs today we drove to the ANZAC Hill War Memorial. At the given coordinates there weren’t too may possibilities for a good hide. So It took not long to find it and sing the log.
Thanks to way-finder for the cache

On way to Darwin from Adelaide. Not many opportunities to grab caches due to time was limited and lack of phone coverage. Was happy to find this one whilst muggle husband was ready all the war history at the lookout. TFTC

On our vacation this year, we did a great trip as GER-17 to Australia.
GER-17 are DieFraudiemitmuss, Lundi263, de Eifelaner and murri24.
We started the tour in Melbourne where we spend a few days sightseeing and caching, including some trips out of the City to the Grampians an to the Great Ocean Road.
Nice place to be and to see.
From Melbourne we went to Alice Springs including Ayrs Rock, where we saw some nice sunsets and other great stone formations and spots.
Back in Melbourne we started by car to go to Sydney along the coast with zig zags into the blue mountains and Canberra.
Finally we arrived in Sydney and spend here the last day of our holidays with caching and sightseeing.
During this trip we found this box.

DieFraudiemitmuss, Lundi263, Murri24 and I made this year a very great tour together. Our first target is Melbourne. So we started early in the morning to visit the city and to make a few geocaches. We found very nice locations and interesting spots. One day we rent a car. Very early in the morning we drive from Melbourne City over Geelong to the Great Ocean Road. Along this road we found so much interesting spots, we see a great landscape, and had have not enough time for sightseeing. The weather was fine but a little bit windy. This day was very long and hard, but wonderful.
After that we visit the Grampians. A little bit rain, a little bit windy and a little bit sunny day, we had fasten all weathers. We visit waterfalls, canyons, sandstone fomations and any Look Outs. Puhhh, what a great landscape.
The next part of our journey is to explore the Outback. From Ayers Rock we take a car and drive over Kings Canyon and many other Look Outs to Alice Springs. We visit any very interesting Caches and had a great time by comfortable temperature.
This traditional Cache we hav also found. We log it as "GER-17". Thank you for this Cache.

After an interesting wander around the top we wandered to GZ.
Had us guessing for a while then we spotted an obvious hide. Sure enough...there it was
All good here.
Thanks for the cache and adding to our fun day in Alice.

No luck for us. Bit of a burnt out area but not sure if we were in the right section even. Thanks anyway for the views.
Thank you! I arrived in Alice Springs this afternoon and headed for a walk after checking into the hotel. I managed to get to the top of the hill just after sunset, but the views were still impressive and helped me get a bit of an overview of the town.
I headed to GZ and first looked in all the obvious spots. After expanding the search a little, I found the well hidden cache. No TBs seen here. Inventory may need to be updated.

Great placement - TFTC - always a must go to in Alice. The RSL (I assume) do a fantastic job.
Found on a one month road trip around Australia. Sorry for the generic log. TNLNSL TFTC
