New signage right at this location. I think the cache might have been disturbed by this. I’ll put this on the ‘watch list” and see what the future holds.
Night time Actually very early in morning of the 3rd. Lots of due about so the railing extreamly saturated with water. Had a good feel and look with torch but did not discover it. A real tricky one. Get it next time maybe. 2nd DNF of 16 attempts this night so not too bad.
Last time I looked for this one I couldn't find it, but the new clue and daylight meant that this time I put my hand on it almost straight away. TFTC
We came, we looked and we didn't find. Will need to come back and revisit this one - maybe have more patience (and luck) when the temperatures are a bit cooler. 32C is too hot to cache.
We had a quick look at this a year ago. Different result on our gps meant we had it pretty much .
Cheers.
Cheers.
Notice no logs since the 19th Oct and with the number of geocachers travelling to and from Dunedin surprised not to see more logs or DNFs. We spent quite a bit of time going up and down from where the GPS was putting us, it was just on dusk. We notice right we GZ is that there is a signs put on with cable ties. Are these signs new and have perhaps knocked cache out of place?? Just a thought. No luck for us despite the time spent. Never mind.
Found as part of the Gangsters- The Rats, Farmer Frentzen and Big Matt and Shell- as part of our NZ Mega Event Tour 2012.
This didn't cause us any confusion but did take some finding in its little hidey hole. TFTC!

Found during 'The Gangsters' trip to New Zealand, being Big Matt, The Rats, steeba and myself.
This took way longer than it should have. A tricky hide that finally revealed itself to us in the end.
Thanks to The-Organist for the cache.

Found this cache as part of the Gangster's Aussie assault on the first NZ Mega with Big Matt, FarmerFrenzten and steeba.
This one had us searching for some time but eventually persitence paid off.
Thanks

Our 6233rd overall find.
Found on the "Gangsters" NZ Mega 2012 trip with steeba, The Rats and Farmer Frentzen. This one took a lot of searching. It turned out I was in the right spot just couldn't get my fingers on it.
Thanks The-Organist for the cache. Stats for our trip can be found here http://www.campersdownunder.com.au/geocaching/NZTrip/stats2.html

Came by here with Roostaman tonight after we had stopped to have a bite to eat, and although we weren't confused, we did think we were made standing at GZ with the wind howling across us...and a little bit of drizzle from time to time. After searching in and around a lot of potential hiding spots, Roosta made the find, and then we proceeded to sign and roll up the log with cold fingers.

That's two Organist caches in 30 minutes I have to DNF. Tricky hide, especially after a fellow cacher later told me how it was hidden. I must have touched it several time. Arghhhh! Saved it for next time I'm in Timaru.
Find # 4335 and a total of 84 today with Marcus Vitruvius.on the 2nd day of our NZ Mega trip,
on the way south from Christchurch to Timaru. I just loved this country and driving around it looking for caches.
Another excellent cache and hide and a not so quick find. Well done. TFTC The-Organist,
Roostaman.

We found this neat cache while on our two weeks Blitz of the South Island for the Mega Event.
Many thanks for the hide.

Geotooter and I had travelled to NZ from across the ditch to attend the NZ Mega Event down in Dunedin. We arrived in Timaru which was to be our overnight stop and after checking in to our motel we grabbed a few local caches. I'm afraid the cache name was spot on for us as we were totally confused where this one was hidden. In after about a 15 minute serach we decided to move on. Despite not finding the cache I enjoyed the hunt. Thanks The-Organist.
Hunted and Hunted for ages in between mugglecars, will have another look next time we are down that way.
nanos ...nanos everywhere
quick one on my way in the center today
just a few on the list
merci

this was my second attempt, this time i brought a small hand held mirror. it made finding it a lot easier and you don't cut your fingers on old zip ties. yet another great cache & hide from the-organist.
thank you.
thank you.
Found it at 5:49 PM, Would have been very difficult without the hint

Tried this one previously during the day, but it's too busy a road to allow for thorough searching covertly. Hit GZ at 7am on a Sunday. Not one car passed by me Very nice hide. Enjoyed the challenge. TFTC SL
I have been here before over a year ago on a nasty day with family and couldnt find it. Back again with justanurse and said this was a tough one. Walked to GZ and justanurse put hand in right place first time and it was found. Fastest find for a nano ever and was also poor luck. Being that she had just told me on the previous cache that she was better at caching then me, I have to submit to her greatness.
I cannot find my OWN CACHE!!!! Could the next finder please ensure that the cache is on the south side, in the middle of the other road (use the median strips to help).
If you could replace the log sheet, that would help too!
If you could replace the log sheet, that would help too!
Found on 2nd attempt thanks to hint from fellow cacher, paper is FULL, only room to squeeze in initials.
Desperately trying to replace logsheet, but cache wander means struggling to find my own cache! Will have to do a nighttime.
Knew what we were looking for, and thought had hint sorted, but no find, what were we missing?? Will be back
Another quick find! I had a 50/50 chance of being on the correct side, and I got it right away. TFTC
Find #951. The first find on our last day in Canterbury, after staying the night in Timaru. We were up bright and early on a surprisingly fine morning to make the most out of the day and avoid as much traffic as we could, which made retrieving this cache particular favorable.
We didn't realize initially that it wasn't an intersection and was in actuality an overpass, so we found the quickest place to park up and walked for a minute and we were at GZ.
It took about 5 minutes of feeling and looking, whilst still being as stealthy as possible, to finally locate the damn thing! A very sneaky hide! Thanks. SL TFTC.

The only thing confusing here was where to leave our print, as the log is absolutely chocka...
This defeated me, again - I looked on a previous visit to Timaru (?March) but felt there was more than a little confusion! Thanks, anyway.
After a good search nothing was found....a little confusion indeed!

Found with Mr B while on our caching adventure. Some after dinner night caching. Another DNF expunged. TFTC.
Tried this during the day on a previous trip. Very stressful. Happy to see it this time.
Just about to give up on this when I found another place and there it was. Good hide. TFTC #2090
Nice Cache! After I didn't find it yesterday night I was unlighted today by berti236 and his sister.

Thanks to bobbele85 and Karina!

Found at 2am, no muggles (or cars) in site, group of kids on scate boards using the road below! Nice Shiney Container!
Again, had to dodge the headlights to find this cache, as well as the odd person walking home. Cheers Gav [7405/NC]
Found it with our hands although it would have been visible... T4TC and greetings from Switzerland!
We were a little confused, but finaly put our Geobrains into gear.Log Book is now full.A very clever hide.TFTC
Was part of Wandering Dragons when I found this one. Now branching off to my own account.
Took a while, and almost gave up. Back to car and stared at area again before I gave it one last shot. Very clever. TFTC!
This was fun! As soon as I saw the location, my Sydney big-city experience kicked in. The rest was just about actually laying hands on the cache. Didn't take too long, co-ords were nearly spot-on. Night-time meant fewer muggles, and a torch sped the process. SL, TFTC.
Took a trip from Canada to New Zealand to visit my brother and nephew over Christmas. Did some caching and was taken to some pretty amazing places. Thanks for the cache!
A lot of confusion. Had to come back again as one on the locals was concerned about us cutting down the signage on the bridge and had never heard of geocaching. I don't think our brief explanation helped.....LOL
TFTH Happy Cachin!!!
TFTH Happy Cachin!!!
Spent too long checking under and around the possiblities. Got lots of zip tie scratches, but no cache.
Had a wee think about this one and figured it out, 2nd time lucky, went straight to it, SL TFTC
Couldn't find this one, was pretty sure I knew where it was but wonder if it has been muggled by people putting signs up. If you are able to check on this one and let me know if its still there it would be appreciated, thanks
Thought we knew where it was, but unable to find this one, will try again at a later date.
Very windy today retrieving this one, had to move away to a sheltered spot to write in the log. TFTC
Replenished log as found full. Had fun finding this VERY small cache. Getting the log repacked was fund in the strong wind. TFTC
Oh, very small micro. And the logbook is full.

Had given this one a lot of thought and I had decided what it would look like, so driving past decided to stop by and grab it - boy was I wrong. Did find it though. Log sheet is full and unfortunately I had no supplies to refresh it. TFTC Very cool.
This made me nervous. What if the cache was mishandled? Straight back to the car to fill in. Good one thank you.
Found with YuGeo4, a really quick find in the dark, but I let my fingers do the walking and it was very successful for the final cache for the day. TFTC TNLNSL (1391)

We were a little confused at first, then got it sussed. Found with Yeetrees, a very clever hide.

That would be a bit of confusion if you had never been to Timaru before. Good spot to.. watch traffic go by. I reckon we looked a bit dodgy looking for this one. TFTC
Well overdue for a logging session - will have to get better at logging! TFTC
