Out and about today and I could not find this one. I looked in all the obvious spots, or so I thought, and could not locate. No logs for awhile. Will seek help before going south to adelaide next week.
Found with Jaszymundo.
Log very wet, dried as much as possible. Put in some dry paper and new clip seal bag. Hopefully this will help it no get so drowned in the next rain.

This was found in the good company of Landlockedsailors. Yet another beautiful day of geocaching together with here in gorgeous Darwin – what more can you wish for?
I have not been to this area before, and it's really a good place to visit!
The cache was easily found, but it was soaking wet, so it does need maintenance. Lovely place for a cache!
Thanks a lot for the cache

TFTC,
Time to visit this important area and learn a bit about the WW11 attacks on Darwin.
A favourite for the display presentation.
Our first of 2 days in Darwin to complete all the tasks required before heading of into the Outback again for the last 2 weeks of our adventure.
Between the tasks, we have taken the chance to find a few caches and visit the trackables experiencing our adventure with us so that their owners can also learn about this unusual city.

While visiting Charles Darwin National Park, the 1st find was at one of old ammuntion tunnels. TFTC
Caching around Darwin, picking up a few loose ones.
Good to see these facilities being used and not left to deteriorate.
Thanks for the cache, NTSTROM.

While in the park trying to solve some of the mysteries we needed time out from an Evil one so came to collect this one to give us some confidence and clear our head. Some interesting war structures and reminders. We parked close and made a quick find before re hiding. Now back to that Evil mystery. TFTC

Today route we had planned was for caches south of Tiger Brennan Drive. This took us from the ocean, a race track & into Charles Darwin National Park.
This is a great park would not have come here except for caching.
Thanks NTSTROM

# 3613. After 2 days on the bikes we were back in the car today to reach a few caches we wanted to re-visit and a few further away. Today I managed 18 smilies and a few DNF's again!!
The last one for the day. Being magnetic was a help and made for a quick find. TFTC.

Nice quick find which was appreciated as I injured my ankle yesterday caching. Tftc
This was my 2nd attempt at this one. I arrived after work and took heed of the biting insects sign and doused myself liberally in deet before I got out of the car.
I exited the car and walked straight up to the cache, signed my name, and I was back in the car before any of those bitey things even knew I was there. I don't know how or why I missed it last time.

GPS showed cache to be 5 m away. I am not sure what the significance of "ace cam" is though.
Thanks.
Thanks.
We were a bit concerned by the biting insects warning but managed two caches unscathed. TFTC.
An interesting location and a nice walk this afternoon with some friends whilst staying in the area. We braved the biting insects warning but being mid-afternoon didn't have any problems. Looked in the more obvious spot first before reading the clue.

This was our 3rd cache in our caching run today - and we found it at around 10:04.
(So this is our 4680th total find.)
A nice quick find.
Took: Nothing
Left: We left a new snaplock bag as the one in the cache was in tatters.
Thanks NTSTROM for the hunt today.

We stopped off here later in the day (4pm) and it was still pretty hot. We first had a look around the nearby museum which was very interesting and took a fair while (and it was a bit cooler in there too!) Didn't take too long to find the cache after that and we then headed further along to look at some more of the old military sites. TFTC NTSTROM, another great spot to explore in Darwin (and sorry for being so late to log, I only just noticed my gps record of "find" lacking a "log"!)
Found with blossom* - the nearby museum was amazing with so many details, you culd spend quite a few hours looking at everything here TFTC
loved this historic area....did a few 'mozzie dances'.... even with the bushmans...! ...thanks for the cache and for bringing me out here NTSTROM...cheers..! cabbos
This cache took a bit of hunting, and on the way we found a stash of needles and drug gear, so be careful in this bush...
Because of the split up of team Nikolausi10 here a log with the new name. I hope very much for your understanding and also for the cache again.
1805 GAFF1 Had almost given up and obviously it was the last place searched.
Nice day cycling around Darwin, just need more water refilling spots for the camel pack!

Found this cache after work today on a trip to Darwin. I have tried to access these caches but always too late and found locked gates. My GPSR was a bit off but the hint got me onto the correct spot. Thanks for this cache. cache # 518.
Have been having major GPS accuracy issues during this trip to Darwin and did some head scratching in the rain.
Luckily the hint narrowed things right down.

Found it! Didn't take too long to find it. Tried to dry it out a bit and was able to write my entry. Great park! TFTC SL
Went straight to the obvious spot and started to search. Finally resorted to the hint and went Doh!!!! and soon had the cache (with soggy log) in hand.

Took a bit longer as GPS had me to the side so was poking around there. Ended up having to check the clue but eventually got it. TFTC
Found this cache a few weeks ago. First time I've been in this park! Thanks for motivating us to come here.
First find for the day, was not in most obvious spot! Had to go to the clue.

Looked long and hard but couldn't locate the cache. Took photo of the hide location based on the coordinates just incase.
Was up from Gosford NSW to attend a 25 year High school reunion! Couldn't wait to do some caches in my old home town. I hadnt been here before so appreciated being able to come. It was good to re read the history. TFTC
Found while on holiday from NZ. We are so pleased we decided to visit this park - it was a real highlight of our visit to Darwin with its interesting WWII history and the views of the CBD. Needed the hint though!
Found in the company of Pprass.
I was planning to walk from downtown Darwin to visit the park but Pprass provided some wheels.
The aircraft overhead were busy making lots of noise!

Found at 2.55pm GAFF5 in the company of Riddell. As we were searching a couple of F111's passed screaming over head - boy are they load! So much history around here - thanks NTSTROM
10:00 - our first find in Darwin. Very interesting WW11 artefacts in the displays nearby
dbanksy did a "Needs Maintenance" log on 2 Aug 2010 but the cache was found by haza1337 6 days later.
The cache seems to be in order, so the cache owner needs to remove the "Needs Maintenance" attribute.

The log is getting a bit crowded, Great little cache in a nice location.
An awesome location - wow - what a LOT of WWII bunkers, etc.
This trip has given me a whole new appreciation of the scale of the war effort!

Marco is in Darwin for work, so I flew up for the long weekend so we could find some Darwin caches. We are keen to know what this bunker is now being used for as it was locked up tight. We only needed to conduct a quick search before we had the cache in hand. TNLNSL TFTC
WanderingAus wandered by on day 17 of our annual Climatic Refugee trip, and made a very quick and easy GAFF 0 find of the cache. This was my seventh find of the day, and only the second for which I actually needed a real gpsr, having found the first five by TomTom. In retrospect, if I hadn't come in from the second driveway (after a muggle decided to umm and arr at the first entrance) TomTom might have steered me right on this one too.
My find No 3601, TNLNSL.
