Cache has been stolen............. thinking about whether to make another or not.........
Still didn't find it. This one is really frustrating us. Two we can't find in one park.
Couldn't find it as it was getting dark but now I've read the clue, I think it will be easier next time.
An easy find this time with Old Boots. TFTC

A clever hid. Have seen some similar ones. They add to the fun of the find. TFTC
Took a fair amount of time to get to GZ but after we figured out the woods from the trees, it all became clear. Very clever hide and very well done. Thanks mike&alice for the cache.
The weather was not great, but this helped to speed up the search. Spotted the cache just before we were about to give up. As mentioned: A clever hide. TFTC
What a clever hide!, this one had tripped me up before when I ran out of time so it was great to return today successfully.
Thanks

Yes an excellent hide. Looked at it and wondered to myself and then wondered no more. Well done.
Looking at the previous logs, we must have been either very lucky or very skilled to find this cache relatively quickly. Nice cache and the coordinates were pretty right even if the potential search area looked large. TFTC
Was keen to bag this one, but struck out. Just too many places to look, and after 20 minutes had to move on. TFTC.
Must have spent 20 minutes looking at the wrong location only 20 meters away. Can't say too much more other than good camo job.
In view of the last 3 logs we checked out the cache, and it's right where it should be.....
Definately can't see the wood for the trees - been back twice now, GPS points to the same place each time, so it must be us.
Wasn't having a good morning and feel sure I probably was either in the totaly wrong place or more likely looking straight at it, either way this one will have to stay unfound till another day.
Well, I never got to find the "original" of this cache.
I did have a quick look one day, but alas, by the time I got to look a second time, the cache was moved. LOL
Anyway, better luck this time.
Really Great Idea for a cache "container".
Cheers

Loved it - no probs for a well trained eye, reminds me of one of my caches.....
Awesome camo job.

A very clever hide but I had worked out from the name what I was looking for. Guess it comes with experience and, on that subject, this was cache 999 for me so excitement growing. It would have been nice for this to have been my 1000th as it was a good cache and I have exchanged some nice emails with mike&alice in the past. But not to be. On to Timaru and, hopefully, the 1000th.
Nice one. Took us a few minutes but soon had the tricksy cache in our handsies. Cheers Gav [2609]
Spent the afternoon clearing away most of my "yet to finds" in South Canterbury, north of Timaru. Finally had time to find it. Didn't take too long compared with last time. (Nice to see my name first in the log!)
2071. Oh yes - we liked that! Well done and very well placed. It had us searching and thinking for a while but there were big smiles all round when we found it! Good one!
Thanks

Searched for a long time and must have been close at one time. Seems like our GPS favoured the wrong side where we concentrated most of our efforts. Caught up with the owner at Event in Timaru who gave us another clue for next time.
Well having seen the cache container when being created, didn't make it any easier to spot in the wild! Thanks.
Had a pretty good idea of what to look for. Gave the headlamp a good workout in the dark - the pouring rain didn't help either!! Nice hide, very clever - thanks.
FTF! Yahoo! and 1st of a very successful evening caching. Having previously found the namesake in the original location we knew what sort of thing we were looking for, but must say it did not make the finding the second time any easier. Good hide. TFTC TNLNSL
