Three strikes on this cache. The area is substantially overgrown and prospects may improve if the vegetation is ever cut back.
Walked up and after a look at several areas around the wp we decided to head back down again.
That makes three strikes on this cache.

I didn't check logs for this cache before going on the hunt - wish I had read the previous one, would have saved me a steep walk. On the other hand, I probably (no definitely) needed the exercise. I could see evidence of previous cachers searching through the undergrowth, but now realise this isn't the spot where the cache is - ummm - was!!
Hi All,
Danielc and Danielv had a go for this one. Conditions have changed. Can no longer drive up unless you have a really good set of bolt cutters. There is a new security gate across the road at S 16º54.033' E 145º41.284' We had been driving around looking for a yellow gate. Walked up past the new gate and found the yellow gate. It has been hit by a vehicle and its post has been torn out of the ground. Could see no squatters camp nor a burnt out van. Searched where the GPS zeroed out, but could not find the cache. We are a bit puzzled as no one else has logged it as difficult in any way except the walk up.
Cheers, and Good Hunting!!

Number six for us today, on a mission to find thirteen caches. Quick find, and while filling the log I could get my breath back (our car didn't want to go all the way). Took a yellow stress bulb, left a penny. TFTC.
Attacked this one just on dark. Torch was fully charged this time and the walk although steep was surprisingly over before we knew it. Traction was never going to be a problem .

After reading the title and the logs, I decided to wait for some dry weather to tackle this one by vehicle in case it was a slippery track. In fact it was easy going in 2WD all the way to the top - the trickiest part is probably turning around at the squatter camp.
Found the cache relatively easily after applying "well where would I hide it" brain.

This one really was hard work!! Takes caching to show one how super unfit they really are. We both made it to the GZ and signed the log at 1300. The contents is dry at the moment, but it started raining on the way out, so there is the chance water may get in (especially as there are no seals on the lid).

Thanks for an interesting walk, which I would never have known existed. Replaced cache where we found it, but I was worried that it might not be the original hiding spot, because I imagine that the area might be whipper-snippered from time to time, which would leave it very exposed.TFTC. SL. Left a Diabetes TB.
Easy if you have the right vehicle. Found this one at 8:45am after driving right past the GZ as the readings were everywhere. Kept going till we came across the Squatters camp at the top of the hill.OOPs
Advice, don't go past the fork in the road, just past the burnt out Van. We should have read the clues first.
Found it quickly and did some swaps. The contents may be wet soon as the container is not watertight.

I thought I knew all the local tracks around this area but not this one. Drove up past the burnt out car to GZ in the 4wd.
The GPS was all over the place but soon the cache was in our hands. Will have to go and have a look at the other tracks up here in the future.
Dropped of the Gustavo snowman TB
T. perfume bottle. That's the trouble with GCing with the girls.

Sorry for the tardiness of this log. This was an easy find for Mr Platy Jr and Platy Jr.

Can't remember what we swapped.

Found It! FTF rights to Searchwise015. Did this one as a night cache, probably not the best idea, decided to drive up the hill, another not so hot idea. Going up took low range second gear, reversing all the way down as there is no turn around spot at the cache site, well that took a lot of berries and low range reverse. TFTC T: texter L: Geocoin. SL
