Well this one was interesting, the people who cleaned up the fallen tree must have found the cache, as the container and contents were just left on top of the pile of fallen branches and refuse that was left behind after the cleanup.
I have retrieved what was left of the container, and contents, and will not be placing another cache in this exact location as the area needs to be cleaned and allowed to recover from the huge fallen tree.
Pity I was not there to help with the tree as I could do with some fire wood.

Sorry this one has been left unatendefd for some time, I plan to check the location this week, and arcive or replace as apropriate, by the sounds of what has nhappened here the location may not be suitable for a cache any more.
Eww, Ouch. looks bad.
will check this, and a few other nearby caches of mine ASAp.

What really caught my eye here was that bridge. I'd never see one do that. After I had cached the cache, I drove the bridge. I had to. Clear skies.
Reperio at 1545. A beautiful little spot, and one the neighbouring houses would love I'm sure. Searched around in the logical spot for a few minutes until finally the ache was spotted.
Gratias.

Yay we finally found this nemesis cache. We can finally cross it off our to do list.
Every time we came to look for this one there were muggles on the jetty and they always watched us. We have attempted this one about four times over the past couple of years.
This time the area was devoid of people and we located the cache very quickly
Thanks Pesky!

Loved the location, we just happened to spot the sign for the carpark. We found the cache quickly and took some time to enjoy the scenery. Great location tftc GeoMonkeys. [638]
After having found the cache, we sat down a while and just enjoyed the view. How pretty is this place...
Took a giraffe, left a lanyard.

This was the last one of about half a dozen that we found today as a joint effort with team janpip. The views around this area are fantastic what a great place to be on holidays. The only thing we struggled with today was the heat 35 degress which made us all drink plenty of fluid. This one was a nice easy find and boat of dreaming to own in front of us.
This was an easy one to find. Again great views - would be great to own a house in this area and just sit back and enjoy the scenery.
Showed parents what geocaching was all about.Easy to find in a well hidden reserve. No muggles about but felt like I was under watchful eyes from the balconies above.
Took Measuring tape left one hand clapping.

Parked just off the main road and walked through a retirement home. (I think this will do me) moor the boat at the bottom and off you go.. No muggles today so the cache was there for the finding SL TNLN TFTC

Well thanks GeoMonkeys for helping Tamykian and myself find our new Retirement village. What a beautiful place, even has a pool. Mind you it look pretty dead while we were there. (excuse the pun).
Some of those units had some awesome balconies. What a great place to sit and have coffee and organise your next caching hunt. lol
Thanks GeoMonkeys for the free day dreams.

Nearly had to give this one up as the muggle in the house overlooking the cache wouldn't go away, so we watched a Mrs Duck with her ten ducklings for a while. Muggle still there, watching. So we turned to walk back, and he'd gone!!
Found cache easily then. In good condition.

Once near GZ we didn't know how to get in. Two workers told us just to go through the retirement village.
Once we were through we went to go and give Nan and Pop a visit (only joking, we’re not from around here). While we were walking through we were greeted by the retirees, one of which asked what we were doing (aaaaaaa Looking for something) lucky he didn’t ask what. They don’t have much do around here and there are certainly plenty of them.
After a short search the cache was soon in hand. Thanks GeoMonkeys for the hide.

Found our way here easily and the cache wasn't much trouble either. With windows overlooking from all angles I can't say we went unobserved but I do know we went unchalleged at least. Very nice spot! Wouldn't mind if it was my backyard.
Thanks again
Thanks again
Almost entirely muggle free today which made for a very nice find. Maybe when I am wealthy I will be able to buy myself one of those big boats as well.
TNLNSL...thanks heaps for the cache guys, yet another beautiful corner of the world.

Sunny afternoon spot, found easily as there were no prying eyes as they were daytripping themselves.(We saw them arriving home by bus and made a bee line for the car) Took 'in the view' and left a small key...
Finally found it after avoiding a local muggle who insisted on quizzing us & letting us know about his pending move to Port Stephens. Was there a week earlier but did not locate it due to a local canine muggle. Popular little park!! - TNLN
Darkness is the best cover sometimes, and it worked a treat for SixStars and the two junior seekers. Picked up Pookie - will move him/her/it along soon. Great spot. TFTC
Had no trouble finding the access to this cache location and no problem with watching eyes. The only eyes watching us were some very friendly ducks who seemed quite tame. Located cache quite easily. Saw Pookie the Penguin TB but think he is too big for us to relocate. Took the beautiful New Zealand Geocoin - it's been here long enough. TFTC
found this one with Hoojar and it proved a little tougher than we though.
Oh we found the entry into the park easy enough, and the cache's location was quick... but the retiree neighbour next door sure made things a little difficult. He was using the private jetty and so would look at us young 'hooligans' with displeasure at discovering his secret reserve.
He would very frequently glare over at us from beneath his bushy eyebrows and disgruntle frown while mutter things under his breath.
No doubt about the state the youth was in these days.
Hoojar and i tried our hardest to act casual and I quickly stole the cache from its cover while he had his back turned briefly.
Then his wife emerged (although she actually smiled and greeted us with a 'good afternoon' in passing and as she handed him his cup of tea I managed to use to distraction to return the cache to its hiding place.
We snuck away holding hands and the bushy eye-browed retiree whined to his wife about how in his day.... people didn't live either side of him and he had the whole central coast to himself.
Cheers for the adventure

I felt a little exposed but a casual sit on the grass and a few photo opportunities covered our activities and a nice easy find was of great assistance. Grabbed the Australia 2008 geocoin and left a NZ Geocoin.
We found the entrance and parking area for Palermo Reserve (see photo) easily, and suspected we were in the right place.
We had passed by the day before on a cruise, but it was not easy to pick out the reserve from the boat, so we knew it would be a small reserve. The clue helped find the cache quickly. It appeared there was no one at home nearby, and the fishermuggles on the water were not interested in our activities.
Left Aus 2008 Emu Geocoin. TN TFTC.

beautiful spot, boats passing by, fish in the sea and mozzies that could drain a small child. remember the 80% deet!! Took house tape measure and left camel.
Looked for the park entrance as I drove past, but it eluded me. I parked 100m further on an walked back. The slower speed soon revealed the hidden entrance. The park was empty and the only possible observers were much more interested in maneuvering their rental boat to the best fishing spot. Nice park, but it feels as if the locals would rather the rest of us stayed away.
We figured we had time for one more cache before rejoining our friends in Ettalong over a bottle of Lagavullin. She said "It is too wet, you go and I'll wait in the car". So grabbed the umbrella and toddled off in the rain. A quick search was successful at 6:40pm. Nothing to swap, but container was full of little white house tape rules so took one to lighten the load. TFTC
I agree, thanks for the decent sized cache, I'm sick of looking for thimbles. Left Warrumbungle token.
Found the reserve easily enough. The trick was getting the cache without being spotted.
Nice easy find but we were spotted by a muggle on his boat that was docked close to the cache site.
Took a little bit to find access, but once found it was quickly found. Cheers Gav [3220]
Found with the kiwi team on our great Australian caching tour. Nice, a lovely idyllic little spot.

Team GPS.org.nz Cache Raid: What a great place to live! Just a few muggles fishing in the calm water. T4TC, M@
There wasn't any obvious access shown on our street directory so we gratefully followed Tronador and thus arrived at a tiny little car park which gave entry to this hidden reserve. Very nice spot - probably not known by too many apart from the locals. We were fortunate that the two muggle fisher folk were far enough away and also that there were no BBQ's in progress on the nearby decks. This enabled Tronador to make the find while we had a snooze on the grass. Nice spot.
What a great little park. We found the entry easily thanks to Tom.
No muggles at first then two fisher folk turned up but they didn't worry us. The cache was found and the business completed. took the Swally Spanner TB and left a geocoin.

Found as the first cache or a 13 cache spree round Brisbane Water. Dentoz was there but he had found the cache before. Nice spot - thanks.
Teamed up with ruffasguts4x4 and Deputyd0g and coy for a day of Central Coast Caching. For some reason I thought that there was a great amount of difficulty in finding the entrance to GZ so I took the softly, softly approach. I felt a bit stupid when rufffasguts4x4 pointed out the sign showing the Cache name, DOH!!!! There were a few Muggles near the Cache when we arrived but they were just packing up. I sat in the cool shade of a tree next to the Cache watching the world go by whilst one of the party did the hard yards. I could get the used to hanging around these guys, they make it so simple.
Top spot, thanks for taking us there

Lensim & I's 1st for the day. Took note of location and tried to keep very very quiet so as not to arouse suspicion even whispering! Lot of fun when you think you could be watched. TNLN. Thanx for the cache.
Clean missed the car park, not once! but twice! but thanks to the round-about we finally got to it.
Fairly late in the day but that just made it nicer watching the sun setting.
TFTC GeoMonkeys another very nice one

A fisherman and his boys made looking a bit difficult but we seemed to manage and as we left so did they.
Good little park by the water.

Found no worries but in an interesting way. Oldest boy typed the co-ordinates and got a couple of digits wrong, so we searched in a mangrove swamp for half an hour first till I got to thinking about it! Soon as I typed in the correct ones, it showed us being about 4 kilometres away from where we should have been! Left Frequest flyer trackable and took playdough.
Thanks for the hunt, Woyboys

While out on another morning paddle with 'C' (my kayak) I decided to try and get this one. At 9am on a Sunday, there was no one really around (except the occasional paddler coming past). I quickly worked out where it was and sat down with my drink bottle, to have a rest and log the cache. A beautiful morning, and a great spot. I felt very exposed though (even though no-one was around there was muggle potential everywhere!)
Took: Crazy frog McToy (my son loves his and it doesn't work anymore, so he was most pleased when I came home with this)
Left: Carabina key ring and playdoh.

Well we returned to locate the cache and again we were thwarted by muggles, this time they were sitting on the private jetty, and watching us.
Third time lucky hopefully!!

Did this one with Toonarmy. Parked in the small carpark - drive slowly or you will miss it. Not too difficult if you park there. Nice place and thank you for taking us there. TFTC.
Found with The Carey Clan.
Easy find. A couple of fishermen at the other end of the park but they were packing up for the day when we arrived so no problems getting the cache.

The local family of ducks were about but no one else was in the park. Didn't take long to locate.
Another nice spot for a cache, although stealth is required. The wife photographed the local flock of "decoy" ducks a short distance from GZ, out in the open, to distract any prying eyes whilst I extracted the cache. Took: nil. Left: mini Mike Hussey cricket ball for the next geokid cricket fan. TFTC.
wow - i felt like i was geocaching on a stage! never felt so exposed or in the open. lol thank goodness for good GPSR and hint, could go straight to the cache without arousing too much suspicion (i hope). Took compass, and left a different type of compass. Great little park, nice day and no muggles (that I could see...just dont know how many were watching me.) TFTC, and thanks for a good size one too Pesky!
Grandparents live nearby so on a visit wandered down. Glad no-one seemed to be around- took a couple of minutes but cache then appeared. Beautiful spot.
Noticed Access point yesterday, but did not have the time to stop. No muggles on the land, just plenty going past on the water. Was found in a few minutes. Nice spot for a swim

We found an access point fairly easily, but we were thwarted by swimming, and spear fishing, muggles who were watching our every move.
We shall return.
