Sorry folk,
Im pulling the plug on this one.
It always was a bit "awkward" as my 1st multi attempt.

Yes please. I got stuck at WP3 a coupe of months ago.
For the rest it is an enjoyable cache.
Would be great to see it up and running again.

Looking forward to this one. Could someone please confirm that all waypoints and final are in place as recent log entries suggest there may be a problem?
No probs with waypoint one but number two eluded us. Reading previous logs I think perhaps it's faded out of recognition? I think this one may need looking into - we are keen to complete as so many others have enjoyed!!
Very nice multi, but came as far as WP3. Was pretty sure I was at GZ for this WP but nothing to see or find.
Started this one yesterday and finished it off today in the lovely Hamilton sunshine. Struggled with WP2, and almost gave up, but perserverance paid off allowing us to move on to complete WP3 and the final. Thank you for taking us to these places which we wouldn't have visited otherwise. NINO, TFTC
Third time at WP2 and with little help from Twigster was able to find the location for WP3.
WP3 was out in the open. Looks like rabbit or dog has been digging around here. Placed it back where the hint suggested before moving on to the final. Great history lesson.

[Sorry psychrn can’t find WP2. Looked at the previous logs and seen that it’s fallen off. However can’t seem to find this handwritten WP. I’m not sure what I am doing wrong as it’s not like there are any other] seats [anywhere near by.]
Nice muti. I had not been to a couple of the spots on the trip so thank you for that. Had a bit of trouble finding the 3rd WPbecause my GPS was again +13m it was low on batt dont know if that was slowing it down. all in all very cool cache

Way point one had me stumped for some time but after a number of returns the path up does not seem as steep now and I feel foolish not finding the WP1 earlier.
Path to final is totally gone.

Great multicache taking us to historic places we knew nothing about beforehand. 2nd waypoint is handwritten still.
Final cache has been flooded by the recent floods and is in need of maintenance due to being waterlogged. Dried out the container and removed the sodden log and pen. Replaced with a temporary log although now no pen. Have brought log home to dry out but is probably past restoration.

A really enjoyable multi which took me to a few areas I didn't know existed. I did this one skiving off work bit by bit over a week or two whenever I was passing by the relevent area. 1st waypoint was straight forward, and the 2nd location was most unusual. When spotting the object here, I thought this would be a very quick find, but it had me crawling around upside down on the grass for ages. Finally found the handwritten waypoints which by this time were very faint. Fortunately found the original lying on the grass underneath at the same time, so was able to fill in the blank spots and go over the handwritten again to make it a bit easier to read next time. Couldn't reattach the original, so had to leave where it was. Found the 3rd OK, despite the annoying barking muggle. The final was a nice placement in another secret little spot that was nice to find. Yes, definately keep to the RHSide of the track, as it's getting dangerously dodgy on that bend!
We drove to the first two waypoints, and then parked at a convenient (convenience) location, walked to the third waypoint and then on to the final. The information at the second waypoint is not very secure, but had no means of fixing it.
+ a marble, - nothing.

Yay last time I looked for this on it had gone walk abouts, or perhaps swim abouts. Found it this time and yep it was there.
Revisited the last waypoint as well to see if the coords were different.

Quick find this time round. Thankfully our eye sight didn’t desert us last week, as the owner confirmed it was muggled. Return today to complete the formalities. Better still, the owner was on hand to make sure we found it. Thanks Chris, for the excellent service to get the cache up and running again at such short notice, nice to catch up again as well. Thanks for the journey of discovery to all these historic Waikato Pa sites. We enjoyed the visit.

Met here with Yugeo4 team.
Yes it has gone missing so replaced.
There has been a major washout on the track in. Pay to stick to right of track.
This should be well above water line.

Quick walk / drive around these historic pa sites. Found all the intermediate WPs without too much bother. However our luck deserted us at the final, found the spot where Boges came undone, and the feature of interest. Even a PAF to some of Hamilton’s finest didn’t help. Had to leave after a couple of muggle kids hung around to see what we were up to. Please check to see if it is still there. Thanks for the effort Chris, a most enjoyable cache, to date.

#83. We are most impressed with the Geocooleys walking this one! Mind you, we ended up on the wrong side of the river to start with and after the first way point... we were looking across the river again!
Great hunt, some nice spots - thank you.
- Key TB
- pen key ring
+ car and 10 Pfennig coin

No luck this day. Enjoyed the Pa visit and scrambling around the river banks.
Never mind we'll be back another day

Well, this is one long cache hunt. A lot of zigging and zagging over what is becoming a very low river. WP 2 was very interesting, but getting to it was quite difficult. Consulted with geocooley later on, and they had the same problem on foot! (We had the luxury of wheels)
Admire Geocooley doing this on foot, as it turns out to be much more than the 3km suggested.
Interesting area all up, final easily found once we retraced our steps, deciding not to do a "Boges" slide down the asphalt.

Found it but had to ph owner as I am slightly blind.
Great slide down to the final spot

No trouble with any of the Waypoints.Really interesting sites, especially the 2nd waypoint.
Final was a quick easy find, once we figured out how to get to the spot.
Anyone considering walking the whole multi, it is a 6km walk from start to final (unless there is another footbridge across the river that we didn't see). Our track was closer to 9km as we had to take numerous detours for nappy changes, feeds, attempting to follow the river when there was no track, lunch, etc.

What an interesting tour of the pa sites! Admit we drove between WPs, but it was late in the day.... Some awesome history around to be investigated! TFTC
What an awesome little multi!
The Freezer Mice strike again, and are getting closer each time to a FTF!
Didnt have any issues at all with finding the waypoints... and to echo Zorgons sentiments, this was most enjoyable.
Took the 'Compass Rose' GC, and left the 'Key Puzzle' TB (very appropriate for a good puzzle we thought) and calling card.

Most enjoyable cache!! Apart from some trouble at WP1 the rest of it went very smoothly.
The best thing for a local like me was that 3 of the 4 locations were places I had never visited before and they are most interesting historical areas too.
Well suited to a multi-cache format. This cache would actually be a good one to do on a bike and you might even get around quicker than a car/walk combo.
Many thanks Psychrn. TNLN.
