After looking for ages a workman came and asked if we had lost something he then said he had found the cache but it is destroyed he gave us all the bits but the box is gone the log is wet but all the trinkets seem ok
The hide revealed itself to me after some quiet contemplation of the scenery. Intersting view of the bum side of Rupertswood too.
The journey home involved a detour to Sunbury Police Station to hand in a mobile phone that was lying in the grass near the cache.

This proved a little tricky woth so many choices to search in.
But I found that by going further than the description mentions down the hill, and then looking up, the cache is very easy to spot.
Thanks again Team Ninja for another terrific spot for a cache. TNLNSL

14-02 18th find of the day at 16:40 and 913th find in total.
We were a bit concerned when we read that this one was a terrain of 3.5 but were very surprised when we got to GZ. Not only was in the opposite direction to what we were expecting but the terrain seemed a lot easier that we were thinking of. Lucky for us Spice had the container after about a 20 second search.
(''\(OoO)/'') Thanks Team_Ninja for the caching fun!

Must be looking in the wrong place as we had no luck. Rather difficult terrain to walk around unnoticed in. Will try again at a later date.
Spectacular views of the old place.
Didn't have too much trouble locating the cache.
Dropped in my Wombat Geocoin to give it a move along.
This was the drawcard which brought me to Sunbury as I was transiting overnight from a cruise ship back home to Brisbane

This was cache # 28 of 43 for the day, on my trip to the Intervening Days II caching event. On approach to GZ I though oh no this could take some time but I found it in the first place I looked, I enjoyed the view from this location. My thanks to Team_Ninja for the cache.
We found the original and since it moved and we needed the letters within, it is only fitting that we log its incarnation.

I was a bit scared about this one from the previous logs! But it turned out to be quite a straight forward find. Brilliant views!! I am still trying to work out what Rupertswood's purpose actually IS though!! TNLN Thanks for a really nice cache.
A bit of a hunt but got there in the end. This was no where near the scrambling expedition I thought it would be. tnln thanks team ninja
8 of 15 finds for the day at 1120. A short search and the cache was soon in hand. Fantastic views.

We enjoyed the views from up here, both of Rupertswood and the old bridge. Fantastic. We left the Corsican Brother? TB to survey the scene. We were very happy to get back into the car again, the winds up here today were bitingly cold. TFTC.
Found at 3.40pm GAFF1 on our "Catch up with Sunbury and Melton" weekend in the company of Ian&Penny.
We were now quite refreshed and rested after stopping at one of our favourite wineries in the district - Goonawarra. We had a fantastic tasting - a one on 4 tasting with the owner and we subsequently got to like the new years releases - surprise!
We have seen this view beofe when doing similar caches a few years ago here, but never tire of what we see.

Found this cache on our Victorian Invasion trip with Steeba and The Rats. With today's fog we really didn't have much of a view but I'm sure it is impressive. The cache was found after a bit of a scramble.

A quick bit of owner maintenance, dropped off a tag for the cache 'Alphabet Soup'. Please do not remove this, it is a crucial part of that cache.

I followed my GPS to GZ and looked for some time without success. I read the cache description, and it didn't exactly match where I was. I expanded my search and eventually found it 13 metres from where my GPS said it was. I have included my hastily derived co-ordinates. Thanks for the views and for the cache.
Had a quick look today but there were some mugggles playing around on the nearby table so didn't want to give anything away. Waited and waited but no chance of them moving on so i packed up and moved on. I'll be back and thanks for the views!
Found by Team Coughlan after some time.
Almost gave up and checked one last hiding spot. BINGO.
Took the Travel Bug, and left a "Blue Monkey" thing.

Found at 12:30pm... This was our very first find so we were pretty excited when we found it! It took us ages though because our GPS took us about 4 metres away. It was a great hide & is cool to know it is there as we ride our bikes along the track all the time. Looking forward to more. Took nothing, left nothing.
got it this time, after reading a few of the logs..... didn't realise GPS was so far off, which I guess explains why I was nowere near it last time

Found it with my family and then accompnaied DARKVALA and his to it. We met up there on a day of cache finding in Sunbury. This spot is just down from my parents' place, my brothers were surprised to realise there was a cache there and loved the experience.
There are lots of places it could be at. What gave it away to my brother on his very 1st find is that he thought the rocks looked odd, as though someone had placed them like that. And he was right.
Took a toy pirate figurine and left a handmade pashé necklace.

Had to expand the search area a little, but after I read all the logs I can see why that is the case....Thanks.

We found our 7th Team ninja cache at 1:45pm as the 13th of 40 on our Sunbury and Beyond Tour IV. A geocaching visit to Sunbury wouldn't be complete without a view of Rupertswood somewhere in the day. As per the other loggers since the shift, the co-ords need a tweak (I make it 12m but that was a quick read). Still though, with the cache-marker, another easy pick up for "A". Thanks for the cache from D,H,H & A B-A.
We struggled to find this as it was a fair way away from the GZ indicated on our GPSr. We nearly gave up but found a clue left by a pevious cacher which revealed the location. Interesting view of the Rupertswood complex. NINO SL TFTC
Certainly is a good spot for a view of Rupertswood, and a quick find at 6:20pm

My second go at this one but this time with the updated information. Tried relying on the gps and when that failed used the new info whereupon the cache was found with the help of a little sign from a previous finder. The gps was saying 18m north as I signed the log.
I went to check the cache today and it is still there. I upgraded the container to a 100ml clear plastic container. It is hidden just over the edge of the hill between a rock and some weeds. I have also updated the description to provide more clues. Good luck to all future cachers.
Ok. Sounds like it may have been muggled. I'll go and check on it sometime soon.
We searched and searched and searched but alas no luck, terrific view though

No luck for me here either. I too had a bit of a look further down the hill in that more likely-looking hiding spot as well - though it’s quite prickly! Nice area, I enjoyed the views. I'll keep an eye on future logs. Regards, 38degsouth.
Hopefully it was me, but I used both Team Nina's new coordinates and the original suggested ones and both had me still near the top of the hill and with very few hiding spots around. I searched more than 15 metres around, and in a likely spot a little further away, to no avail. Am I having one of those mental blocks? Probably!

Just a quick note to all cachers planning to find this cache, it will be temporarily disabled on Saturday 9.8.08 while I move it to the new location provided by vk3jap. Thanks for replacing the container and listing better coordinates in a different spot, vk3jap.
Cache 2 of 3 for Sunday morning with GeoJordy and Dad..
Quick easy find, still there. We thought we'd see if we could find this one and upgrade it as I had a spare small container. I was going to use a 200ml sistema but I used a slightly smaller square one with a green lid as it fitted better. I also wrote geocaching.com on it. It could really do with a GC-Note so that muggles know what they've found and hopefully don't re-muggle.
Lovely views of Rupertswood from here.. I've had a cheeky kebab down at the actual cricket oval before but never seen the mansion from this perspective, truly quite a magnificant place, love to have a look around inside it one day.
Suggestion for a new GZ perhaps might be S37 34.326 E144 44.647, closer to the views in question, nice hiding spots and not such a high muggle chance.
In : New Cache Container, Pencil, Sharpener, boomerang
Out : nil.

Yes, the cache has been muggled. Badger and I replaced it with a film cannister as we did not have any tupperware containers with us. Our apologies to 2Dudez and monch1962 for not finding the cache, we hope you will return.
Like the previous searcher, we also found the obvious spot and no cache.
Might need the owner or a previous finder to confirm that it is muggled.

No luck finding this one today. It was incredibly windy, and if the container is what I think it is, then it could've easily blown away. Checked several trees around GZ, but no luck.
May not be there any more

Although I've driven through Sunbury many times I have never really seen Rupertswood, and there are good views from near GZ. It was windy and rather cool today, which had the advantage of making the place muggle-free. The cache description of a "very small Tupperware container" is completely accurate! Needless to say I took nothing, left nothing and signed the log. TFTC, Team_Ninja.
Great view as the cache name suggests. Haven't seen a Tupperware container this small before! Thanks Team Ninja.
Found by Mary & David at 1150. Marvellous views of the mansion and the hills beyond. A new perspective for us too. Our thanks once more to Team Ninja.
Found by Mr Emu & Demon Boy @ 4:35 p.m., GAFF1 http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/GAFF . #28 of 43 on our big "get to 500 or bust" day.
Perhaps the cache container is the size of the Tupperware you get if decide to pay "normal" prices? Just kidding - it really is dinky though isn't it. We enjoyed the views from up here during our visit - yet another look at Sunbury from "on high". Reckon we've been to all the high spots today.

Found in conjunction with Team CDNB. A cute cache container which was found after an extended search by C of CDNB. A pitty the lat's and long's were out - today the GZ was 20m NNE of the cache site! I see from the log that this error has now been corrected. Thanks for that Biggles Bear. No off for a well earned coffee.

Found on our Good Friday Sunbury Search at 3.35pm. Such a cute container - I'd love to see the celery that goes into it! TFTC Team Ninja!
GZ was a little out, but obvious, so not a hard find.
We stopped for some dinner here admiring the view. Strange that so many of the houses have few windows to take advantage of the sight.
Thanks, Robmc.

Like others we had trouble with the co-ords but the hide was reasonably obvious so no trouble. Have visited Sunbury quite a few times lately and am coming to know the area quite well. This is a nice spot with great views and one we'd not been to before although we had been close to here.
We had a bite to eat while we admired the late afternoon views.
Thanks indeed

A nice simple cache with glorious views. We were somewhat hesitant at first seeing the proximity to the playground, but were reassured when the GPS had us not heading quite into the playground.
A mother and two daughters were doing a bit of a Clean Up Australia Day here, so it was fortunate I had the rest of the family along to provide cover.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks you Team_Ninja.

Our very first geo find in this locality was associated with the very imposing building referred to in this caches name, as has been a number of other finds since that time!
This area has many such items of historical significance that lend themselves to good geo locations.

[211] 9.30am - Found on our Sunbury caching trip with cdmark and Team Rubik - Our trip took us on to good views of this great mansion - cdmarks parking saved our legs from to much walking - TFTC Team Ninja - cheers.
Our second cache on our Sunbury and beyond marathon with Team Rubik, Team GraMon and GeoJnr (D had to work today). Fortunately, or unfortunately I mistook a shared footpath for a road to the park area and parked a little closer than I think should have. Apologies for that. The GPS had us looking a little further away than we should have been but eventually Team Rubik had his mojo working overtime and came up with the tricky little hide. Great views of the mansion from here a nice spot indeed. TFTC Team Ninja. Cheers.

The views of the nearby manor from this location were pretty impressive and a great way to start the day's caching around Sunbury. Unfortunately we found the coordinates to be out by some distance and had to rely on the description to make the find. This was the second such container I had seen in three days, where are they coming from?!!
