Couldn't find this one today, spent a while searching. My knees weren't loving the hill. Next time I am in Ballarat I will have another go at getting it.
Discussions with the cache owner indicated we were spot on with the location of this missing cache, and he has kindly allowed us to log the cache as a find.
Thanks again flyjabiru1.

Did the puzzle, got the figures we needed, didn't get the cache - has it gone missing?

Was out here with jezarocks, wet and getting dark will come back another day when cache has been confirmed to be still in place.
Had a look for this one today, though it was pouring with rain which meant we eventually had to bail. Still we had a good look, though our efforts were fruitless. According to the hint, our co-ords were spot on. Based on the previous note, it may need checking by the owner?
Went looking for this one today but on arrival at GZ, there was a lid for a 1 litre sistema container on the ground and one golf ball of dubious origin. I had a quick scout around but nothing else of any relevence was evident so I assumed the cache has been nicked and left. Hope I'm wrong and if I am I'll come back but I'm not holding my breath. Took the golf ball, left the lid (for confirmation of ID). Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Thanks for the outing.
I've been here before was my first impression when we lobbed here. There used to be another cache here! Anyway did the maths, got it wrong, redid a bit then off to an easy, puff puff, find.
Thanks again Jabiru man.

I made up the 4th person for the GeosportZ 4 X 4 relay to Ballarat so this was found in the company of Alansee, Caughtatwork and SamCarter. Collected the information.... mmmmmm not quite right adjusted one of the answers and off we all went for a stroll. Obviously the trees like it at GZ. Quick find in a strange environment in the middle of an established area..
Thanks for the cache

Stop 5 on the GeosportZ 4x4 Relay to Ballarat. Having done most of the work at "Fetch" I was content to let the others lead on this one. Alansee had been here before, which helped, although we did manage to resolve some of the ambiguity in one of the questions on our own. We were intrigued by the magnitude of the mound in the flat surrounds of the park, and also by the survival of the pines on such seemingly infertile ground. Uncle Jiffy soon had the cache in hand, and the log was signed. Thanks, flyjabiru1.

A nice easy multi cache that had a few heads being scratched, but all working out in the end.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks flyjbiru1 for this cache experience today. I've been up that mullock heap before by the way to and older cache that is no longer there.

After some confusion working out one of the letters for this one we decided to take a punt & just go with what we could work out. Got the cache no problems from there although Spice found the going a bit slippery.
TNLNSL TFTC, find #329 for Echo & Spice.

My second of 3 victoria park caches (will leave Fetch for when it's warmer) at 1207.
I had a feeling I might have had the coords off, but alas, i found it after a quick look after a bit o' a walk..
Signed log, took pig, left bobble head.
Thanks for the cache!

Found today before the BBQ with some other local cachers. We had come here before but forgotten the questions so we tried again today. Walked to the top of the hill and then to the cache.
TNLN Thanks FJ1

Found the clues easily, but when looking for the cache, the GPS was taking me all over the place. Walked up the top and then it settled down and the cache was soon in hand.

Probably not the best cache to do in the dark, but GZ was navigated with care and noone came off worse for wear.
Found at 4.40pm. This one reminds me of the old nursery rhyme, the Grand Old Duke of York. Not sure if the Duke is flyjabiru or my GPS, but I got to the top and down again with no cache...my GPS was still going crazy! Oh for a GPSr!!! After a while I saw a suspicious looking place and decided to try it.Finally made it by crawling up holding onto branches. Took an M&M phone tag...for strength and left a soft pig...pig of a cache! Also left some small animals. SL and turned around and wondered how I was going to get down???? Luckily cypress branches seem to be fairly strong and with the help of them I made it! For me terrain was way more than 3! My knees and back were having a good day before this, but I was determined to get it. Now I'm off to bed. TFTC Left to look for something easier!!!
Found by Mary & David at 1620. We remember the previous cache here, which took us two visits to find. Better luck today. After carefully studying the sign, our GZ was within a couple of metres of the cache, which we found soon after arriving there. The terrain was a bit easier than last time too. TNLN, but collected TB 'Antonia's Schnuller'. Once more, our thanks to flyjabiru1.
Not many muggles using the park today so we were able to locate the cache with little interuption. TNLNSL.
Found at 9.25am GAFF1. Have been here before - last time it was wet and slippery, this time just slippery. There was a huge vintage car rally going on just on the other side of the hill - quite a good line up. Thanks flyjabiru1 Left: Golf ball.
I had actually jet-skied most of this and so when I got confirmation from the sign I was off and after a little scrambling in a place I never knew existed, the cache was soon found. Thanks for the fun scramble!
I was hoping I could get the info I needed from the board without leaving my car but alas I had to venture into the cold. I really loved GZ and I never found the previous cache here that so many others have mentioned. It was somewhat difficult in the dark and with the wind starting to build up, however my torch caught something out of place and the cache was found.
Thanks for the history and the fun cache location.

Found on our Easter Monday Ballarat expedition at 4:30pm. We had to look VERY closely at the photo to get all of the answers. Loved the "land formation" in the middle of the park, and enjoyed exporing it to find the cache. GPSr wasn't particularly accurate here, but we eventually found it. Left "Antonia's Schnuller" TB, seeing that it looks like a very safe cache. TFTC flyjabiru - we enjoyed this one!
Found 14:05, like others before use we recognised this location and recall searching for another cache. This is a great location.
TNLN, CSI=3, thanks flyjabiru1.

Found at 1530. After drying off a bit from completing 'Fetch', found the info at WP1 and headed off to GZ. The cache took a little longer to find than expected, as it was well covered. This looks like it would be a lot of fun on a bike. It was fun to run down as it was. Great park.

Eighth of eleven cache finds for the day while the wife checked out the shops around Ballarat. An interesting piece of history, i almost came unstuck on one of the questions before looking harder, i was sure i had slid all over this mound for another cache thankfully this one was a nice quick find and I was off again, I was having a much better day of it today. Thanks flyjabiru for the cache.
Reminder to self "following the arrow is not always the best way to go." Kids enjoyed the hill - adults didn't. The way back was much easier. We didn't know this park existed so thanks for bringing us here.
AWPhoto has a new 4WD and wanted to make every cache a drive by. I must admit he got close , but this one defeated him. We had to get out of the car to study the photos.
Interesting spot.
Thanks, Robmc.

Even with the 4WD I couldn't make it a drive-by. Interesting and a bit of a challenge. TNLNSL Thanks.

Geoteen retrieved this one, as Geomum had already had an altercation with the Pine Needles, and decided to "stay put". TNLNSL. Thanks flyjabiru1
Find 3 of 5 for the day. Find # 331
Found info pretty easily, and realised that most of the letters could be worked out without even looking at the sign!! Second last clue was tricky!!
Just when I think my acrophobia is cured something like this flairs it up again!!
The kids enjoyed being human sleds on the clay slopes!!
Thank FJ1

Find # 2182 and 4th of the day at 11:49am. Accompanied by Feathertop for a day out caching in Ballarat. A bit easyer to find the second time around. TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx Flyjabiru1...
My first visit up these mounds since 1974 when as a boarder at one of the local schools we used to come up here on weekends and slide down the slopes on homemade sledges. The hill seemed smaller than I remember it but just as steep. Well hidden in a busy area. Thanks.
A quick visit and calc. yesterday and the coord checked out with the clue, but with a plethora of choices I chose to come back another day.
After having a little trouble with the calculations, we were off to find gz in a few different spots, while thinking "but it's gotta be over there!" Finally worked it out correctly and found the cache.
TNLNSL thanks for the cache.

1st find for the day, Ahh the memories. Brings back the memories of a cache archived only metres from here and the many times I played here as a teen.

When I saw Victoria Park come up in the notification email, I thought "we used to have a cache in Vic Park".
After following the co-ords into the park and getting a general idea of the direction, I knew it had to be near our old "Whole heap of trouble" cache.
Got the info of the familiar sign (was unsure what the method for obtaining E was, but made a guess and found the cache soon after).
Ours used to be about 25 metres away (won't say which direction ), but I think yours has a better chance of survival from muggles.
TNLNSL
thanks to FJ1 for a bit of nostalgia and my 3rd FTF for the day
EDIT: thanks FJ1 for fixing how to calculate "E", it makes a lot more sense now.
