Really glad to stop and find a cache here. The significant horticultural history for the region, would be a shame if not many locals are aware, but then we all have different interests. TFTC crane2, and keeping it maintained for others to stop and read the plaques.
I enjoy learning the history of the area that I am caching in and enjoy being taken to places of interest. Thankyou for pointing out this one. Lots of guardians protecting the cache today. TFTC
Found while heading out to Renmark and surrounds to do some caching along the Wandering Hero's Series and to see what other interesting sights we can find. TFTC
Found by The Empire + HThe clear blue sky stretched endlessly above, with only the occasional wisp of cloud. The drive along the Murray River was peaceful, the bright green vineyards and orchards lining the road, vibrant against the golden hues of the open fields. As we made our way along the gently curving roads, the spring air was filled with the fresh scent of blossoming trees and wildflowers. The Murray occasionally peeked through the gaps in the trees, its calm waters glistening in the sunlight. Quick find amongst the bugs! Thanks for the cache crane2.-M
A quick find on our road trip. I didn't like the cache guardians.... so Mattbrjo had to do the honours of retrieving the log... a great piece of history this 1st tree. Tftc
TFTC. With JLWE 2024 in Lameroo finished we headed to the Riverland for a couple days of caching before heading home.Happy caching and safe travels!
Out caching around Loxton in our travels. Arrived at GZ and found log . TFTC crane2
Left the Puzzld crew for the lst time and headed to Mildura. With this crazy weather I have conceded the PaddleSteamer series and made a leisurely trip across to Mildura, finding caches when needing to stop. Easily found cache but more than a little grossed out with the infestation of earwigs. Love how the first tree planting is respected. tftc crane2
At the 18th National Caravan Rally at Barmera Field Day site. Enjoying ourselves. Out today sight seeing in the area. Have to collect some caches while here.
Thanks for this one.
Thanks for this one.

Around the Riverland for the weekend due to swimming at Renmark. Grabbed this one while hubby working hard at the pool. Easy find. TFTC.
There was no problem in finding this cache when we arrived at GZ with ilook4geo. All was in good order and after signing the log it was then replaced as it had been found. We would not have stopped to read these plaques without having the cache nearby. Thank you to crane2 for placing this cache.
On the road again today and heading east with goingplaces2. Cache container was easily found and log signed. TFTC.
They grass and surrounding fields look dry and it's only a third way through winter TFTC
A plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to attack some of the caching trails down in VIC/SA. With the boarders slowly staying open we thought Easter might be a safe time to try since the QLD boarder was still too fragile to attempt going to the MEGA and it also looked like it could be rather wet there.
Our team “The Mob” consisted of GoodLook, LíB, Rapidlywild, The Drovers, feathertop and ourselves. This team ended up being very productive and some new friendships were made. Always a bonus in my book. All logs were stamped with “The Mob” to save space and time.
After completing all the trails, we had set out to do and a couple more for good measure it was time for this mob to go its separate ways.
It was now time to head home after doing numerous trails while in the area a great caching adventure. We decided to pick up ones around Loxton before leaving.
Another quick find here, I did wonder why that object was sitting there.
Thanks for the hide crane2 and for the fun Rapidlywild

For the first time in a long time, it was road trip time. With COVID-19 keeping everyone at home for so long, the borders were finally opening and the feet were itchy for a decent caching trip. Plans were made with FurfacesLL to do a 10 day road trip across to Mildura and Loxton to do a heap of caching and we were excited. Across the 10 days we racked up over 4,300km in driving, multiple hotels/motels, brought home enough red dust to create our own sand pit in the back yard and collected over 1800 finds between us. It was a massive trip and lots of fun was had.
We teamed up with GoodLook, FeatherTop, The Drovers and LiB and signed most logs as "The Mob". There were a few caches which were signed as individual team names as some teams had already completed said caches, those will be noted individually.
Our target caches were the Turtle Series, the Paddle Steamer Series and the On Ya Bike wherigo Series, heaps of other caches were also collected along the way but our primary target caches were completed which made us all very happy and very tired geocachers.
With the Turtle done, the PS Series done, the On Ya Bike done, the TdU & TdF done as well as the Riddlers done, our targeted caches has been accomplished. With the teams now split and it was back to FurfacesLL and myself, we had heaps to choose from. Today was cleaning up around Loxton and making our way over to Mildura for the night, before making our way back towards Wagga tomorrow.
A nice quick find here, now onto the next find for the day.
Thanks for the hides crane2 And thanks FurfacesLL for a trip to remember [^].

A nice stop on our journey across the country from Adelaide to Brisbane with Davidwazza! TFTC!
Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled around the Murray Riverlands, visiting Loxton, Paringa, and Renmark. We started the day from Berri, travelling south and finding a few miscellaneous geocaches. Once at Loxton, we completed the *Historical Loxton* Adventure Lab, found a few geocaches along the river, and then had lunch in town. We then drove towards Paringa, and took a walk around Murtho and Headings Cliffs. We then proceeded back through Renmark, and finished off our evening with a walk at Wilabalangaloo and completing the Berri *A River Contemplation* Adventure Lab.
A good historical plaque, that was sort of interesting to read. This geocache certainly took me ages to find, and that was because of a few reasons. Firstly, I didn't feel comfortable searching behind the signs, as usually the vines need to be kept free of pests and diseases, and there are normally signs warning visitors to not approach. Hence, I had searched all of the other nearby locations first, before having a final check that way. The coordinates are also 10 m away, which also meant we had trouble looking (and if the current location is more permanent, can the coordinates just be updated?). Otherwise, the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks crane2 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

A good harvest waiting to be picked. I drive past this every work day, always wondered what they were commemorating. TFTC
A quick find here the cache is all good
Today was a big day with quite a lot of driving and not a lot of caches found but all in all a bit of fun, I started and finished the day in Adelaide going via tailem bend for a bike race at the bend before heading up to berri for an event and finding a few caches around the river land before heading back to Adelaide. Total of 42 finds plus 1 lab cache to finish of a series in the Barossa.
Thanks for the cache

Day 383 ( Tuesday 15th ) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Barmera today. A total of 1 for the day and 6768 the trip. A grand total of 16,736 caches. TFTC
Arrived in Loxton to team up with Suscoe, Phetlern and Bushfire for a few days of caching. After setting up camp we headed out to find a few in the local area. An interesting little byway of history TFTC crane2
Day 3 of this years Christmas holiday trip. On our way to Adelaide (from Canberra) collecting answers to several of the windmill cache multi's. A quick find, thanks crane2.
The apricot tree was recently replaced in a joint enterprise between the landowner and Loxton North Primary School. The land owner moved the cache to protect it, so coords are currently a bit out, but is still an easy find. Can go back once tree has grown a little.
Wow. I’ve lived in Loxton all my life and never knew there was a monument here.
As we wander the great land
Thanks to crane2 for placing the cache for us to find.
