This morning, I decided to take a bicycle ride to work via Everton Hills.

My bike ride took me past this location, and seeing this archived cache may still be available, I thought I would take a few minutes for a brief search. I wasn’t holding my breath that this cache was still here since its archival nine years ago in 2012, so after having a quick look around and checking a few spots, I decided to ride on. I suspect the cache has probably been moved on by now; Thanks anyway K8'n'Co. for the cache placement.

Last night, in my 'lookings' for geocaches I noted this one on the map which looked like it may still be in place despite being archived. Knowing I'd be in the area today, I added it to the to-do list. It is a bit of a bummer about the muggles and not being able to alter the geocache type - but I guess it serves the purpose intended and has been, well, archived.

After mingling at an event and heading west, this was the last geocache to be attempted before swinging back past the event. My trusty GPSr navigated me into the right parking area and I was a happy little camper to see not another soul anywhere. All the buildings were even closed up. Fantastic.

I darted off, following the arrow and came across a likely area. I started looking for a few things when I noted a 'something' not quite right. I investigated closer and yes, this is definitely the geocache. First issue was the ants inside. A few taps and shakes and they were out. then getting at the logbook was a bit of an issue. Some careful prodding and fondling and it came forth - surprisingly dry. I added my name to the logbook and took a photo just to say I'd been here.

Now to see if the rest of the series is still up and running. If this one is anything to go by, the series should be pretty damn impressive. TFTC K8'n'Co Smile

Called into this cache to see if it was still here and found it.
Was a great help with the coordinates as I think I wrote some down wrong.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks K8'n'Co Cool
This has been a great series. Have been to all except No2.
Look forward to the final

Yay, FTSTNL (first to sign the new logbook Smile). Having spent the last few weeks in deep cover, keeping just one step ahead of Mamood's agents, it was with great anticipation that we headed out to rendezvous with Agent Simon/Simone Wink.

As is his/her nature, Agent Sebastian was nowhere to be seen, but a cunning disguise was left behind with all the necessary information for us to continue our quest! Four down, one to go.

Now for the Final Mission .........

Thanks K8'n'Co

"Mission continues: Fourth report follows"

This spot holds special memories for me. I have a day job that a few years ago had me working as part of the recovery effort after freak storms tore through this part of Brisbane. One of the recovery centres we set up was right here. I spent a couple days working dawn-to-dusk counselling, consolling, coordinating and assisting residents find the way to get started to rebuild lives afterwards. I was a Community Recovery worker. As a naturally organised person I became a coordinator of the services being provided in the centre. I had worked in IT support for Cyclone Larry, and was a primary director for IT support in 2011 as well as other emergency responses, but this was one of only two occasions I had to deal with the public directly face to face. And helping the people directly makes a difference for the behind-the-scenes workload later.

As for the mission, I'm onto you now. Easily found on a quiet afternoon.

Too late (for me) to complete the mission tonight, but I will shortly.

"This message will self-destruct in five seconds. " This cacher is now done[xx(]

A clever hide. We had to be quick, as there were plenty of police at the club today. The log book was damp, but still able to be signed.

I arrived before the mass of kids for the friday night little athletics Big Grin

No one around meant a quick grab. Smile

28-Aug-11
Found with GhostGums, Gunnie, Kaisho and ModelBear during a day out on the Dark Side.

Sorry about the very late/cut'n'paste/my-memory-has-faded log. Shame on me Surprised

Thanks for the cache K8'n'Co. Cheers, svn07

Out enmasse today Gunnie69 & I arrived 1st at GZ and had to resort to the official inspector type mode as we where quizzed by a couple of kids in treadlies - What are you doing here?? Who are you??? etc etc...

Thankfully their father dragged them off soon giving us a clear search area...

Gunnie69 made the find at the rest of the group (Ghostgums, SVN07 & Modelbear) arrived

TNLNSL

Thanks K8'n'Co for the cache - neat camouflage...

28-Aug-11
Simon may be a master of disguise but, he (Or is it her) was no match for the superior “team” who set about finding him today... Big Grin

On arrival in the area, there were muggles riding their bikes around GZ and they were very interested in our purpose for being there... Fortunately, Kaisho53 and I had arrived just prior to our partners in caching and had approached with the black folder and very purposeful look on our faces. We had all the right answers and the ankle biters appeared happy enough to let us do what we had to... Wink

As we pondered our best hunting options, the muggles moved and the Ghostgums ans svn07 arrived... Now that was good timing... The cache was identified shortly afterwards and we were free to extract without concern... [^]

A quick log signing ceremony was enacted before simon/e donned his/her disguise once more... Big Grin

Cheers K8’n’Co.

28-Aug-11
Well this was quite a clever hide. We needed to use a fair amount of secret agent sleath as people kept arriving and asking about the little atheltics sign up.

Information was obtained and were now able to move to the final location.

Cache found while hunting with Gunnie69, SVN07, Kaisho53 and modelbear.

This was a clever hide that I fortunately found on a very quiet afternoon. Thanks for the cache.

964 - Found another well designed cache by K8'n'Co this afternoon at 1:50pm. Just one muggle in the car park but he soon moved on and we grabbed the cache soon after. Slowly putting all the pieces together to grab the final one on this great series in the near future. Thanks K8'n'Co.

25-Jun-11
Got to GZ and what the hell is one of those doing there? Thought I broke something but it was the cache. Nice container TFTC

12-Jun-11
Our 2nd find in this series. So far we have enjoyed the mission. Hopefully the Impossible part is not to come. Area around was quite deserted today which made the search that much easier. Thanks for the cache and the series so far. Can't wait to tackle the rest.

28-May-11
I had tried this one many moons ago but it eluded me. Perhaps I have better caching experience - as it came to hand fairly quickly today. The only issue was waiting for the muggles near GZ. The cache is in excellent condtion. I loved the hide on this one. I collected the clue and moved along. TFTC K8'n'Co Smile

21-Mar-11
I drive past this cache nearly every single day and it beeps at me every time. I had planned to do this series in order but after finding #3 the other day before I've tried #2 I thought, what the heck, let's do #4 too. I managed to find a parking spot nice and close to GZ and had the cache spotted nice and quickly. Only two to go now. I might even finish the series by the end of the year!
Thanks K8'n'Co

27-Feb-11
Stopped by today to get the co-ords I lost from my previous visit. So excited.. on to number 5!!

06-Feb-11
Coordinates changed from:
S 27° 23.755 E 152° 57.773

Coordinates changed to:
S 27° 23.756 E 152° 57.770

Distance from original: 17.2 feet or 5.2 meters.

Slight co-ord adjustment

06-Feb-11
New log and East co-ord to the final cache

06-Feb-11
Due to constant mugglings I have modified this cache and it is no longer a multi but a traditional micro. Unfortunately the system won't allow changes to the classification.

28-Jan-11
Sounds like some of the components need replacing.

26-Jan-11
Went by there today-as I have misplaced the set of co-ords i got previously.
Could not find anything. Cache with Log is gone.
PM sent to K8'n'Co

08-Dec-10
Lovely park and area car parking well, searched searched for wp1, wp2 wp3 all as oh clever one, full muddy with water, arrival to wp?, found it very well hide.... thanks famous K8'n'Co....

26-Sep-10
We did find and sign the log and found one set of co-ordinates but not the other two.

We did find a very healthy toad in what looked like a good spot for a container but K8 assured us at the rebellious event that it wasn't.

TFTC but we will have to return to find the other co-ords.

15-Aug-10
Found 2 and the log. One was not in any type of container-not sure if that was how it was supposed to be.
Could not find middle one-but it WAS dark and there were spider webs.......maybe I gave up too quickly?
Anyway, log found, signed only.

11-Aug-10
Naturally, the logbook was in the last possible location, not to mention the wettest! Found all possible coordinates right under the noses of the police who drove past and parked nearby. I'm a better secret agent than I thought! Now to locate the final...

11-Aug-10
Our search for the log was briefly interrupted by what could have been one of Mamood's agents posing as a police officer. His attention however was caught by some suspicious characters lurking about inside a nearby building so we hurriedly continued our search, locating the necessary information in the last possible place. Returned the cache and exited safely.

01-Jul-10
This was the first cache of 6 on a recover from A Rebellious Event day. I was determined to finish the series today so I set off in my spy gear and soon had all the information gathered, one of the points will need to be looked at as I found it on the ground. My thanks to K8'n'Co. for the cache.

16-Jun-10
Had fun finding all the components of this one and look forward to finishing the series.
Thanks for the cache K8'n'Co.

16-Jun-10
We enjoyed walking around this area gathering information for the final cache, thanks K8'n'Co.

16-Jun-10
A nice park to walk in circles, and relax with our picnic lunch. With all the clues, we are now ready to attack the final cache. TFTC

12-Jun-10
Very sneaky! I found this as a standalone as I happened to be in the park, but I will be going back to do them all.

09-May-10
Found all the pieces, now to track down those documents!! More clever K8'n'Co. hides and yet, they are still tricking us!! [^] Thanks K8'n'Co.

17-Apr-10
With the clues in hand Alkzura and I headed out for #4 in the MI series today. We quickly gathered all the co-ordinates and signed the log, even with a bit of muggle activity in the area. Once again another brilliant cache by K8&Co, off to #5! Smile TFTC

17-Apr-10
Today was the day to continue on with our impossible mission, with number #4 and #5 on the radar today for NyletaM and myself.
We found all of the relevant waypoints and found all the relevant caches and information.
As with the rest of the series so far, a lot of effort put into it.
TFTC.
..
Signed the Log , Did some homework, gathered all the information and headed off in search of #5.

20-Mar-10
Agents Aussiemates and big sister accepted the 4th mission with enthusiasm. All locations easily found thanks to MI2. Some Very Creative waypoints. TFTC.
Now to find that final part of the mission......

23-Oct-09
I must have had my "K8'n'Co." eyes on today. Found all four WPs with ease. Of course the secret information helped. Entered all the co-ordinates and decided on one that looked promising, so headed off to #5. TN/LN/SL.

17-Oct-09
We had the whole jibba jabba clan on the case for this one. After looking at the clues we found that geodad had us on the wrong case, but once we had the right co ords MI4 was completed.
Some very clever urban caches Smile now onto MI5. TFTC

08-Jun-09
Good day to be here (Queen's birthday). It's very quite apart from a few young people playing touch. Collected all the clues. Mission almost complete. TFTC

24-May-09
Some very inventive hiding places, we all had great fun hunting for them while trying to avoid all the muggles milling about. Now on to number 5 TFTC.

09-May-09
16.23 hours: Agent Ozibags completed mission phase four. Agent Vigenere's clues were very helpful, as was my special agent's equipment (the GPS). Now, which one?? SL TFTC K8'n'Co.

Arrived this afternoon hoping to find the area a bit quiet. Fortunately it wasn't to bad. I was dreading it incase one was a member of who runs this establishment. The few muggles around didn't seem to pay me too much attention so I went about my search. You are a sneaky cache hider. A couple of them had me really thinking, but eventually my keen secret agent eyes (or was it pure luck) saw what I needed to find. Anyway found them all and noted the info. Now onto complete the final mission. TFTC.

15-Feb-09
I found the main way point today and will continue the rest as time goes on.

Great hide

Cheers.

08-Feb-09
Got #2 at 11:30 but had to sit and eat lunch and wait till 12:40 for #1. On Sunday morning the PCYC is occupied by the Hope Church which provides a high concentration of muggles. Not recommended.

30-Jan-09
I spent a reasonable amount of time on each of the way points required to solve this cache however none presented themselves.
I am not sure if it has something to do with the recent works in the area or not.
There are a lot of grass clippings and 'Tidy' gardens around.

or maybe my cache eye is out by miles..... I m open to any reason but I will get around to getting this one.

sorry.

03-Jan-09
Found at 1520, with Marg, The Staunch Gang and Me_Shell_79. The Log was very wet and we couldn't sign it so I stamped the out side. Didn't have a spare Log small enough to replace. other micro were OK. TFTC.

03-Jan-09
Found with Treking Trev. Took a little while to get them all and one was wet.

14-Oct-08
Now this is the way to geocache - coords AND visuals!! All four WP's were very clever hides too. We did our recon, and then knuckled down to piece together all the clues...

14-Oct-08
Strolled around with Agent posthaste looking inconspicuous.

Enjoyed the hides and honed our skills for the final assault.

TFTC

06-Sep-08
All the waypoints are still in place, but the log had been removed. I found it several metres away in a sodden condition and it has been replaced.

05-Sep-08
Looked for this one at about 1600 today. I found two of the micros ok, but the third one I found (an eclipse) appeared to be empty... I had no luck with the fourth.

Thankfully I managed to deduce a set of co-ords with what I had, so it was off to #5 to complete my mission.

This one might need a look by somebody who has found it before.

Thanks anyway K8'n'co Smile

02-Aug-08
I had a little bit of spare time this afternoon before my hockey game so I took the opportunity to nab a few caches.
I had a great time at this location I really enjoy a K8& Co cache and thsi one is something special to caeebrate my 1400th cache thanks K8&Co now onto MI 5. TFTC.

Finally getting back to this series after starting it ages ago. Out with Rastas today and we shared the fun. TFTH Smile

07-Apr-08
Almost there! A great easy cache. A gardener actually found one as I was walking towards it. He knocked the "disguise" over. I took the opporunity to spread the good word of geocaching. I was so excited after I finished this, had no idea where I was going next.

15-Mar-08
Found in the dark (AandM still being my excellent chauffeurs). My 100th cache. Great clues, fun puzzle. On to the final showdown! TFTC.

14-Mar-08
this was great fun we really enjoyed it

10-Mar-08
Found by Sunshine Toledo at 3:00pm. All necessary waypoints were visited and info to get the final documents was gathered. Very quiet round here at this hour. Only four cars nearby and not a muggle. TFTC

27-Feb-08
Cue music...
Dum,dum,da,de,dum,dum....doodelahhh,doodelahhh....
I chose to ignore the protocols today and try mission four without the intel from previous missions [:o]
A risky move I know, but that's what this cache series is about Big Grin
Two of the drops and the main prize were found without incident, but the remaining drop was elusive and I was sure I was under surveillance [:o]
A couple of ride-bys revealled nothing. But on the third pass I found it. Ha,ha,ha Big Grin
TFTC.

As always, should you or any of your IM force be caught or killed,, K8'n'Co will disavow any knowledge of your actions. This cache log will self-destruct in five seconds. Good luck, If.

10-Feb-08
Mamoods agents were everywhere here today, so extreme stealth was required to obtain the co-ords. The micro closest to the obvious Mamood establishment required a decoy of broken down car to retrieve. With the car parked next to the cache, and the bonnet raised, Agents Baroki & Bindy searched whilst I created the distraction. Pity these two agents are a bit green, and it required myself to quickly locate & return the cache.
TFTC
Time to head to #5

10-Feb-08
Having found the clues from previous cache, the micros were found easliy, but super stealth was required as there seemed to be an agents convention today!!

With all co ords in hand it was time to complete this mission and find the dossier.

TFTC

10-Feb-08
Green!!!! We do alright!!!!
Lots of enemy agents around.... and let me give you the hint... VWNUTS... he isn't as good at stealth as he !thinks!!!
Ta lots...
Lets move onto MI#5

09-Feb-08
After MI2 and 3 being quite tough for us this was an easy set of microcaches. The log book is a bit damp but still intact and able to be written on. TFTC

08-Feb-08
Completed without incident but I know that there were other agents watching me. Why would a person spend all day going round in circles on a rider mower mowing a footy field which already looked to have been mowed.

Clearly an agent on watch.

TFTC Big Grin

PS - Log book cache was full of water - I have taken the log book and cache note home to examine for more clues and dry it out and will return it later today.

27-Jan-08
Found @ ~10:30am

I was resting at base when notification came in for more clues from our field agents. I contacted agent totalube who informed me he was already on the scene. The response time by multiple agents on this latest development was remarkable. I arrived on site fine agents totalube and michael_j_rosenberg already searching.

After some frantic scrambling about, aware that agents michael_j_rosenberg and aandm and were ahead of us, agent totalube and I collected the required figures. Based on the photos provided by agent Vigenere I done some scouting around yesterday so were able to discard Sebastian's false leads and go head straight to Mamood’s stash.

27-Jan-08
Proceeded to location after receipt of availability notification-Coordinates located-Final destination confirmed-on way to accomplish mission-Agents Andrew and Maryan.

I continue to chuckle at thre lengths K8 will go to to hide things in plain sight.

Well done.

27-Jan-08
MI 4 and 5 are out! Off I went, again with geo-toddler. Mloe rang me while en route and agreed to meet at GZ. While waiting and finding one of the clues, I ran into michael_j_rosenberg. Soon after Mloe came by together we found the remaining clues and signed the log. With clues in hand and Mloe's local knowledge we proceeded to the competition of this "Top Secret" adventure

27-Jan-08
It was muggle central here this evening. I had to sit and bide my time. Eventually they all filtered away and I had a clear go at the various targets.

Info at hand....it's time to head off to the final. Alas, that will have to wait until tomorrow.

Bumped into a fellow cacher (PV) on the way out.

Thanks K8'n'Co....one wonders what you got up your sleeve for the final
