cache is not there... did a check. closing down.

31-Dec-11
Didn't know that GeoMonkeys had disabled it, we soon came up with no cache in hand. But I think we found something just as good. A little bluetongue was sitting among the leaf litter by a rock. Probably the tamest bluetongue we've ever seen. Even a few soft pockes with a stick didn't budge him. So we got a little bolder...
Oh thanx for the new location GeoMonkeys.

28-Dec-11
Thought I found the spire and the hollow but no cache.

28-Dec-11
definitely needs some maintinence. stay tuned.

Unfortunately I have to log a DNF this time. Spent a decent amount of time up there but no cache appeared.
Oh well at least there were fantastic views to drown out our sorrows

30-Oct-11
looks like a cache check may be needed... stay tuned.

A beautiful walk around here in a lovely part of the world. Lovely views of Broken Bay and Lion Island. Make sure you bring your camera to take some photos of a world class view from the cache position. We have been coming to Woy Woy all our lives and I haven't ventured up here except for finding this cache. So thanks for taking the time and effort to place it. TNLN TFTC.

22-Apr-11
Second find for the day. Had been here with my brother Bruwstera and was time to take hubby eaviate and daughter Missy mou. Still had fun looking and dredging the memory to find this one again. Fantastic views. TFTC GeoMonkeys

31-Dec-10
We Were pushed for time, nearly had to abandon the search. But alas, we had a last minute reprieve. When all seemed lost perserverance on and around the rocks paid off. TNLN. TFTC. Found by Bruwstera, Wackydo, Stampy and Blizzard.

18-Dec-10
Very hard to find. Don't go down the cliff - on face in rocks ( it can see the beach!)

14-Jun-10
Looked around everywhere for ages but couldn't find it.

08-May-10
After having fond the Dark Obstruction we extended the nice bush walk.
The clue is really OK, but you have to think laterally.
Took a koala, left TB, lanyard and light stick.

29-Dec-09
On holiday and thought I'd find a couple of caches, why not!!! Lovely lovely lovely, gorgeous weather, loved the walk, introduced newbie who will log as chelseabuns.

29-Dec-09
Went geocaching with peteandsara. Second find for the day. View was awesome.

31-Oct-09
Big family weekend! This one was our favourite, even with the excessive and unnecessary driving around!

31-Oct-09
Found this one with TheMonks on a family weekend get-together at Ettalong. We might get a few more keen geocachers out of this.
Had trouble finding the right road........all our maps said we could drive right to the lookout at the top, but we found out you can't!
Anyway, we had a good time getting there and then finding it......lots of laughs Big Grin
Took nothing, but left a Vietnamese 10,000 Dong note. Don't spend it all in one place!

30-Apr-09
A perfect day and an excellent short walk. We let the GPS settle while we had morning tea, then strolled over and picked up the cache. The nearby lookout has one of the better views in the area. TNLN and TFTH. A great cache GeoMonkeys.

05-Apr-09
Really enjoyed this walk up here today. Didn't see a soul but could hear lots of traffic, weekend lawnmowers and dogs barking in the suburbs below. Took little tin, left socceroo disc. Thanks Geomonkeys!

04-Mar-09
Another fine cache from the Monkeys. A bit harder than normal as I didn't allow for the usual (and unexplainable) 8m quantum leap between the Monkeys and my co-ords. After extending the search to allow for this, a very sneaky hole was found.

Thanks for the walk.

03-Jan-09
Another joint effort with cousin Schnappstix. I had no idea the view from here was so good ( or even that there was a view!). Still only our second geocache - this could become a habit!!

03-Jan-09
Found with geocousins. What a great view it is. Thanks for getting us to explore this hill which I have driven round many times. T screwdrivers L Big red sports car

01-Oct-08
Walked across from D.O.on a nice track, with the odd view of Woy Woy below. The search for the cache was frustrating at times for me, with the clues a little cryptic.
'Daddy's Little Helper' my 6yr old daughter scrambled over the rocks despite my pleas to keep away from the edges! She has the makings of a much braver geocacher than her 9yr old brother who was happy to sit well away from the edge.
We were just about to but in a DNF when the cache was spied in a micro cave. TNLNSL, TFTC and the great views down the coast.

Teamed up with ruffasguts4x4 and Deputyd0g and coy for a day of Central Coast Caching. This one came online just a day after I was last up here and the possible FTF was the first thing I thought of when it was published. Oh well a chance to finish it off came about today. Nice easy walk into GZ and the Cache was located quickly. Nice spot and thanks for showing it to us.

12-Jul-08
I HATE 'bejeezees big' SPIDERS!!!
i thought attempting this cache at this time of the year i'd miss the orb spiders, but there were plenty of other to make up for that!! nice view and wasnt that hard to find in the end. TFTC!!!

17-May-08
We found ourselves onlt 130m away from the cache, but realised we had an elevation, and access issue, so we approached from another angle.
Took about 10 minutes for find this one, then spent longer admiring the views.
TNLN
Thanks Pesky!

08-May-08
The bejeesus spiders!! I hate spiders Sad

Az happened to turn off from the track to take in the view and a few photos, and lo and behold when I followed it said we were standing on GZ! Turns out that it was not quite true, and we ended up phoning a friend who 'told us where it was' when the hint failed to click. Turns out she hasn't actually done this cache yet and was confusing it with another one, but nonetheless the hint worked. TNLN. Thanks for convincing us to come and take a look from one of the best vantage points in the area.

05-Apr-08
Did this one with Toonarmy. Nice walk and nice views. Nice place for a cache - thank you for taking us there. TFTC Smile
