Track was pretty mushy, but we were able to walk/paddle around the worst bits. Cache found without trouble in good condition. TFTC
Pat and I discovered someone living in a tent not too far from the cache so we backtracked out of there and approached the cache from another track. I was looking about 8-10 metres away when I heard Pat call out that he had found it, signed the log and moved on. Thank you WanderingAus.
A wet walk to the cache along the tracks. We found a home that someone lives in along one of the tracks so back out of that location.Cache was about 6m out but not hard to find.
After attending the Christmas event, collecting smileys along Canning River before heading back to North Perth with my Geobike. Thanks WanderingAus for hiding and maintenance.
Hellova adventure getting here as most of the area is water logged. Had to access the area via some small trails. So exciting!
A bit of a squishy squelchy walk in parts to get there but found the well stocked cache in good condition (and dry). Nice to find a 16yo cache! TFTC, WanderingAus, and for keeping it alive!
Happy to say we found it this time. Last time we couldn't access GZ due to flooding but it wasn't as bad today, so we gave it another try. All in perfect order. Thanks very much for hiding and maintaining this cache.
Took advantage of this lovely winter's day to collect some of these riverside caches. A quick find here at GZ. Tftc
Enjoyed my walk to the GZ. Good day to find this cache as its nice and dry. Cache in good condition. TFTC
Not sure if the cache is where it's supposed to be. Was lying on the ground pretty much in the open. Regardless, I'm glad I went barefoot for this one as most of the trail in was a river
We were unable to find this cache. Lots of water around, and we’re not very experienced
Nice spot, passed by on my permitted 1 hour lockdown exercise walk on ANZAC Day 2021. TNLNTFTC
Out for a cycle on this fine arvo. Headed East with the breeze behind all the way out to Cannington, before I battled it the 16km back home. Found plenty of good quality caches.
Cycled along the sandy track out to here. Took a little bit of searching before I located the cache. All was in excellent condition. Log was fresh too. Cheers WanderingAus!

TFTC. Nice track into this remote cache. Thanks for bringing us here. Beautiful natural environment amongst the urban environment
Introducing Jensen8813 to the game with the geo kids today.

WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, confirmed the cache was missing again, and replaced it in the same spot.
The cache is now a drab camo'd 65mm diameter 165mm high plastic screw top container, with log book, finders cards, pen, two pencils, a pencil sharpener, and a few swaps.

###Cache Owner Action Needed###
This cache has been brought to my attention as likely to be missing.
After a string of successful Finds, it has now had a string of DNFs. I agree that this certainly suggests that something has happened at the cache location which requires investigation by the CO.
I am going to Disable it, and I'll check back in 4 weeks to see if either
- the CO has checked or rectified the apparent problem
- the CO has communicated when action will be taken
If the CO has not taken either of these actions, then regrettably the cache will be archived.
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Thank you

I was following the navigation, and I searched around the area, but after 15 minutes I still couldn't find the geocache.
Looked everywhere, can’t find this one. It’s a decent size so perhaps the gps is off?
Lovely spot, nice stroll from home. But didn't find after 20mins of looking. Will try again another time.
We got stuck in bogey sand and I looked at my phone and looked into the bush and I saw the box right Infront of me me and my friend now will go find more
Took a little while as we were looking a bit far from the cache. Finally found and hidden in plain site!
WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, and replaced the cache container and all contents.
The cache is still a drab painted 120mm diameter 200mm high (2 litre) round screw-top container, with log book, finders cards, pen, two pencils, a pencil sharpener, and a few swaps.

Wandering around this lovely area. As I walked in saw the sign about snakes and wandered if I would see one. 2 mins later I came across a tiger snek doing his thing. We exchanged curious looks and both went about our business. Quick find at GZ. Very nice walk. TFTC.
Day 152 of our 366 day straight challenge.
Definitely chose the wrong path to this cache today. On the plus side I discovered my boots are actually waterproof. And I was very thankful I chose these shoes for today!
Once I eventually arrived at GZ I was rewarded with a quick and easy find. Cache in good condition, log signed and cache replaced as found. Now to get back to the car the other way TFTC!

Find 2 of 15 on a MTB ride through the Canning River wetlands and vaious parts south. Significantly warmer than our previous wintry rides today which made for a lovely ride. 5 DNFs along the way - defeated by some tough hides.
Managed to ride the whole way out to this one. Previously the start of the track was underwater but it's all subsided now. Quick find.
TFTC WanderingAus!

Continuing our walk on this lovely winter's morning. All in very good condition.TFTC
Bike ride around the river collecting caches that have been on the to-do list. Lovely day for it. Tfth
TFTC, it was a bit of a walk, lucky the weather was good today and not to hot.
Still chasing down my last few hidden dates to reach my end of year goal. So this mornings early (to beat the heat) caching adventure was brought to you by the city of Canning. After grabbing my missing dates quickly, I had time to spare so decided to have a wander down the river. Sadly the dogs didn't come because they would of loved this. This one was a bit too snake scary for my likings but what are the odds on the short 10ms it was off the track. All good no slithery things and was rewarded by a great cache. The last one for the day as its starting to warm out so its home and aircon time. Will return to complete the series on another day as I really enjoyed these caches. TFTC and series WanderingAus
Had charged past this spot before chasing the final of a multi, so focused on the prize that I didn't realise that there was another cache in the vicinity. Managed to pick it up today with almost no help from the phone GPS. TFTC WanderingAus.
Lovely series of non-micro caches in lovely surroundings. TFTH. The paths into the geocache GZ were very muddy and flooded this weekend. The terrain could even go up to a 3 starat this time of year. We approaches it all on foot, and not by kayak. Did a bit of wading, got wet sneakers. Good little adventure. Thanks L: calling card. T: nothing.
Been eyeing off this one for a while but was awaiting winter to make our second attempt. First attempt was aborted due to the fact that it was summer and we left the track too early and ended up with serious bush bashing disorder. After closer scrutiny of the geocaching map, we realised an easier route was possible and so we headed out. Arrived via the track and found the huge cache full of swag. SLTNLN. THANKS WanAus for a great cache.
Last one of the day.
Got bitten by a mozzie/ant/spider (couldn't see it...) but we found the cache!! ^^

Tftc and introducing me to this new walking spot on my way home from work. Ditto about maintenance required the lid is only a rim now
The container lid is broken, managed to place some plastic between the container and the lid which may keep it dry temporarily but the lid doesn't seal.
Found on an early morning walk. As previously noted the container lid is broken, managed to place some plastic between the container and the lid which may keep it dry temporarily but the lid doesn't seal. TFTC WanderingAus
Found it! Should I add that geocaching in the dark automatically adds one or two difficulty points to the cache? This cache ought to be upgraded to an ammo box, the current container is FUBAR. TFTC! Nice spooky spot at night!
As others have mentioned, the lid has totally disintegrated. Cache contents are dry for now. Took TB, LN. SL at 12:30pm. TFTC -regards 38degsouth -Melbourne, VIC.
Found it after a long ride through water which was across the track. I had hoped the recent rain would have made the sandy track easy to ride on. Instead, it made it very difficult with hundreds of metres of water to cycle through. Despite that I found the cache easy enough and signed the log. As previous cachers have said the container lid is broken and needs replacing to keep the rain out. Thanks for the cache WanderingAus.
