Very exposed spot here... why did they build this decking... certainly not for geocachers or partying... its strange the way such things are intrinsically dommed for a life of neglect and unfortunant miss (or lack of) use. A boardwalk to nowhere for nothing, but nevertheless a great cache! Thanks
16th of 32. Some excellent craftsmanship in puting this entrance and decking together. Resorted to the clue which didn't narrow it down much, but I got lucky.
Picture if you will, a man, standing looking at a expanse of flat rocks,
with people sitting in an air conditioned car nearby laughing. What did the man do I hear you ask?????
He bloody well found the cache quick smart and ran back to the car like the chicken he is!!!
Needs new log book desperately!!!

Hmm. Many of these style rocks. Cache proved to be under something a little different.

2nd attempt and we found it, literally within 10 seconds. We turned over what must have been the one rock we missed last time...

This one had us going! Resorted to clue...but which one!? Just about to move on, as very exposed area, and thought we might get done for loitering...when kids approached us with cache in hand asking "is this it"?? Belly laughs all round!
12:40 find. TFTC!

No luck for us here today. As dak used to say, we hate 'em in rocks. Even after we phoned a friend (who confirmed we were in the right place, and narrowed down the location a bit more) we couldn't find anything. Judging by the muddy lines on a few of the larger rocks, they have been turned over and the area has been rearranged a bit. No doubt the cache is still there, but we felt as though we were looking for the proverbial needle. We gave it away after about 40 minutes to carry on with our list for the day.
Found as part of our Mernda/Doreen day trip. Another quick find by Adam as Shelly kept lookout. Thanks for the cache.
There was a surprisingly large number of muggle vehicles driving past, which necessitated a walk around the pond to admire the heron. In the end, I just had to bite the bullet, and make myself comfortable at GZ as if being there was the most natural thing in the world. In a quiet moment the cache was a quick find, and after signing the log and returning the cache to its hiding place, I was on my way. TFTC.
I love caches like this.
Obvious to a cacher.
Invisible to a muggle.

Number 18 of 25 finds in our "Epping and beyond" day out. Found at 2.50pm. Coordinates were PRECISE - luckily! Signed log, then returned cache EXACTLY where it was, which we now see is vitally important! Thanks once again, homerjay!
14:47 was the time this cache was found! This cache hunt was completed with Scooters Mob on our joint geocaching expedition. TNLNSL TFTC
A hide with a bit of a difference! A nice local spot and as Acts2youthgroup says it was found quickly by him. Not many muggles around on a cool windy day.
Fifteenth of twenty two cache finds for the day in the company of Alansee, the cache was found at 1430. My mate dak would have been saying geez I hate the in rocks, but I love them in rocks and found the cache in the first place I looked. Thanks homerjay73 for the cache.

Found @ 15:10 I walked up to GZ and thought oh boy not another one of these with all those things that look the same. Peeked at clue and there is was. TNLNSL Thanks For The Cache & the hint
3.00pm
Found by Roma and Max.
This was another interesting entry feature to another housing estate!
We did sit at GZ and think and observe and then looked at your hint and there it was right in front of our eyes!
Signed the log and thanks once more homerjay73 for this challenge.

Ah, now thats clever and deceptive too. We sat, we didn't find it. We sat again, and there it was all the time, as it should be, A nice sneaky hide indeed, TFTC.
Out for a Sunday morning's caching in the light fog, this was the last to find around 12:30. The previous attempt back in early April was done without any notes and its unsuccessful outcome was not surprising given the clue. Had in mind to pick up the new Emu Farm cache too but the farmers market put paid to that. Thanks HJ73
Found 10.00 am
Really nice entrance to this new housing estate and very busy with cars constantly passing. Glad I had looked at the clue otherwise I could have been there a while.

We noticed a few rocks around here. Turned over a few of them too
Fortunately the co-ords were good and not a hard find.
Thanks, Robmc.

This one may have taken quite a while but for Robmc's eagle eye. As it was it didn't take too long.

Found at 1500. Tried for this one in it's old format, but when I saw where it was and who was around, I immediately left. This time however, the cache was a nice quick find.

Amazing how much traffic there was today, so we had to time retrieval and replacement pretty carefully.

There were not too many cars around today so we didn't have too many prying eyes as we started our search. It took awhile for the GPSr to settle down but once it did the cache was found easily

Like Biggles said, a nice easy find. But lots of cars around made you a bit wary.

I was using the clue for this one - I don't fancy anyone's chance without it - and I was able to make a quick find. I don't think this one will weather too well.

On a caching day with Muzza and Barcoder cache # 18 of 30 today. You have some amazing hiding places with your caches and I love them.My thanks to homerjay73 for the cache.
This was cache # 12 of 16 in my day out with Kiwideb and Barcoder. I failed a week ago on my own, but this time, with Kiwideb and Barcoder and a hint from Pprass, the cache was found very quickly. Last week I was searching a little distance away. Thanks once again to homerjay73 for the cache.
This is number 17 of 30 caches found today in company with Muzza and Kiwideb on another great caching day. The weather was perfect, the company excellent, the caches fantastic. Although our GPSRs took us to the exact spot it was pretty overwhelming. [B)] This would have been very hard without Muzza’s help and the clue. So many nice BIG new houses and estates out this way. Many thanks for the cache homerjay73.

No luck with this one - in fact, we got 0 for 3 in this estate today.
Now we've seen the clue, we know where to look next time
Now we've seen the clue, we know where to look next time
This was my second visit (I think) to the estate in the last few months. I didn't hesitate going for the clue, the cache had the potential to keep me there for quite a long time. Fortunately good coords and sensible hint meant the cache was located quickly. For a Saturday morning there was a lot of traffic zooming past, do they ever slow to take the corners?
Thanks,

Had to re-check the cache sheet before heading back for another try, Decided to do just as the sheet said and took a seat. Luck dog did not like the very hot deck so headed off into the rocks only to knock over a rock and expose the cache. An interesting cache and a very exposed spot.
An the way back had the luck to spot PParas pulled up at the spot. Had a good chat before heading off again. It was nice to catch up again. Hope you had more luck at world war 1 than I did.

Found at 3.20pm GAFF4. We started to prepare ourselves for a long hunt on the really hot wooden deck (maybe the varnish absorbs heat?) and suddenly LuckDogsCrew pulls up declaring that he was in exactly the same situation just 10 minutes before. We had a good chat about all sorts of things while in the meantime we finally discovered the well hidden cache. Great to catch up with you again LDC and meet the famous LuckDog. Thanks for the cache homerjay73.
I felt rather exposed while I was searching for this cache. The road was busy with cars constantly going by. After a quick search, and having failed at Emu Farm, I moved on to greener pastures. Thanks for the cache anyway.
I think my GPS is failing cos it put me in the middle of the grass and got some weird looks. Finally, I disregarded the device and decided to look in a likely spot.
Got in and signed the log.
Cheers

We found our 2nd HomerJay cache at 4:00pm as the 4th of 12 on our Warrandyte to Yan Yean Ramble. This is one of those caches that we used the hint almost immediately due to not wanting to create any unnecesary deconstruction. Maybe the hint in these cases should be in the text from the start lest the area will take a noticable change within the first twenty or so finders. Thanks for the cache from D & H B-A.
I don't know, I just walked up and found this, the first stone examined. A bit of traffic at 9.15am so I had quite a wait until I could replace it. TFTC.
Located by Rubus pickers on a Saturday drive. Thanks very much Homerjay73 for moving the cache from 'a disappointing view' as there were too many muggles. yabbadabbado
We found this after spending the weekend with friends in Croydon and then doing a 'drop-in' on friends in Diamond Creek. I watched this cache for the last day or so and thought that we would check it out on the way home just to see if the FTF had been claimed. We were pipped by pickupfamily but I think they deserved it! When we approached GZ in the late afternoon there was someone sitting there going through a large pile of rocks and thought this looked a little suspicious like a geocaching avtivity! I started some idle chat and actually found out that she was collecting rocks! I waited a few minutes whilst she left with the new additions in her collection and then made an easy find. A great little spot indeed and some interesting work has gone into the creation of the sign name. TFTC homerjay73. We did spy a couple of caches nearby but they will have to wait for another day. Cheers.
Back with updated co-ords and the whole family including dog Ned, we were surprised to still grab the *FTF*. It just goes to show that you've got to be in it to win it. We used the hint which showed we were sitting in the wrong place. Thanks Homerjay73.

Pickupfamily Dad didn't FTF it at 1130hrs as it seemed to be in somebody's back yard! Watching to see what happens...
