Logs
Found after lots of looking. Hidden very very well (seemed to have rolled/been moved previously). Have moved back to location as per hint
No luck for me here today. Found a pile of potential cover material at GZ but there was no cache under it.
WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, mainly to look for the original cache which I had not been able to find on my recent visits, and also to check whether anyone had found the replacement container I placed on 2 Jul 2024.The new container and logbook had been found by JOHMPerth on 5 Jul 24 and by ashandjess54 on 10 Jul 24.I spent 30 minutes searching and was unable to find the original cache. Had I been able to find it I would have completed CITO on it.
Found it, unable to sign as it is in a container with no lid after lots of rainfall
I found it! The lid was missing and everything is wet. I somehow lost the pencil in the dark and now that is gone too.
This should be replaced if someone can do that (too new to the hobby to know how that would work exactly...).
It was so full of branch litter couldnt see but saw the pen from the previous one
WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, expecting to find the container "in the open on top of a tree". I didn't find it, possibly because it might have been easily spotted by one or more of the large number of runners and dog walkers that pass by.I replaced the cache in the same position I originally hid it in, at the base of a large paperbark tree. It is now a drab camouflaged 75mm diameter 155 mm high plastic screw top container, with log book, finders cards, pen, two pencils, pencil sharpener, and a selection of swaps.
Found it in the open on top of a tree. Lid is missing and cache is completely waterlogged. Will need some maintenance
There was also an old travel bug in here!Have left the container where we found it on top of the tree
Lovely day for a CITO event. Muggle enjoyed his paddle and then bike riding around the river picking up a few caches. Thanks
Attending the CITO with BJA3 picking up some hides around the area.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this hide for us and others to enjoy finding!

Out with Team Barritts attending the close by CITO event. We managed to pick up 9 hides for the morning, 1 DNF and signed the logs for some challenge caches until we qualify. TFTC!
Enjoying a leisurely river stroll on a warmish and sunny winter's day. Pleased to find a 15yo cache, despite having to squish and squelch my way to it! TFTC, Wandering Aus, and for keeping it well stocked and alive!
Nice walk here. The ground was so marshy that I decided to take off my shoes. Easy find.
Riverton is right in Perth, but it feels like something like Mandurah!
Number 826 for me.
I will finish with these inspiring words:
When the feeling leaves you
It moves so slow
Like the loose change from your front pocket
You don't even feel it go
When the bitter creeps in
To bite you whole
A spectre unreflected, oh
It keeps you cold
When you keep your linens
Like virgin snow
Like a blanket of white
Unbroken by the soil below
The sound don't carry
Won't rise or fall
It damps the racket, chokes it back
A strangle hold
Ah-ooh
Ah-ooh
Ah-ooh
You paved your Hades
With precious stone
Made an heirloom to patricians
And the rich alone
And the toll for crossing
I'd owe Charon
Would atrophy a half of me
The heart of gold, ah-ooh
Well, I'm not quite ready
To turn to bone
To petrify the shred of life
I'm holding onto
There's no peace to upset
That spirit's flown
This ossified philosophizing's
Getting old
I leave it to you to find out what the name of that song is.

Took advantage of this lovely winter's day to collect some of these riverside caches. A quick find here at GZ. Tftc
Out for a spot of fresh air this afternoon, enjoying this section of the riverside. A quick detour off the beaten track to find this one as expected. Thanks for the good sized find here WanderingAus
WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, and replaced the full log, the missing sharpener and one pencil, and added a few swaps.
Wet wet wet... cache is high and dry and well however lug is full, quick sign and off home. TFTC
Quick easy find with Misty_Milo after sidestepping the little mouse safe guarding the cache. Many thanks
Well this was nearly a DNF - upon I heard a noise and saw a tail disappear into the grass and I was eaten alive by Missie's who were so thrilled that I'd come to visit them. I wasn't as thrilled. Thankfully I read the hint which helped me find the cache as I had turned around to leave. I'm so glad because I really don't like leaving a cache unfound.
Log signed & I took a souvenir card, thank you. Nice to see the YOWIE cuttlefish in the swag

Initially had wrong tree, but rechecked the coords (which were bang on) and found it. Tftc
After getting spooked by all the long grass I returned today with my son and we found it. Lots of goodies in the cache. Thank you!
After a short search my geowife found it. Nice hiding spot. Easy to see if looking from the right angle. TFTC, our 99th find!
