Attempted from a download to gps many months ago, so didn't know it had been archived. Road work finished, but think it might be better to archive permanently due to houses to be built etc.
This has been collected by a great GeoTeam, thanks for that and sorry for the delay in archiving this.
I hope this has not interupted too many of you guys.
Kind Regards
HJay.

I did email the owner when we found (and grabbed it), but got no response. I still have the cache safely here, and will keep an eye on the roadworks and replace it when they are finished.
Due to extensive roadworks, we had to park at one end, and hug the fenceline to get to GZ.
As we were logging the cleverly camo-ed cache, a worker approached us from seemingly nowhere to ask our reason for being there.
As he didn't seem too satisfied, and was worried about the safety of future cachers, we decided to take this cache witth us to return to owner for another day.
Our thanks to Homerjay73 for another great cache that we were loathe to let disappear, SL

Found on an epic (for me) days caching with bogonghazy. This was the 14th for the day, but only my 9th as I had done 5 previously.
Apologies to homerjay73...
This area is having major road works/ road construction done and the workmen weren't visible as we approached. As we were logging one appeared suddenly and questioned us. He was unimpressed and made it clear that he thought it was too dangerous for people to be there.
Rather than letting them grab the cache and it be destroyed, we grabbed it (with its lovely camo)... I'll mail you with contact info.

Hi Homerjay - great hide - the plastic bag in which the log book is placed in has a lot of holes in it. Thought you may appreciate the feed back. Freckles1
Cool! A HJ day sounds great, I'm so glad that all you guy's and gal's enjoy my work.
I am currently suffering from a busted knee and am strugling to get out and drop some more, but I would love to get a few more out before HJ day!

Another good HJ cache and drive by on the way home form the Whilttlesea show. It had been a very hot but exciting day a we enjoyed the show, the animals and the steam engines. We even by chance ran into some friends from the other side of town. I felt awfully strong lifting the cache and carrying it in both hands to the car so that my queen could witness the log signing. After we left we came across a serious car accident on the main road - but with already many helping out and unhappy tired kids in the back I decided after checking all was in had that I would be in the way if we stayed so we moved on.
Thanks again HJ, I have been thinking of coming up this way to spend the day doing your caches - HJ Day coming soon.....

Go crazy? Don't mind if I do .
This was our most northerly find on our chilly trek to the outer 'burbs tonight. Another clever camo job from HJ73 but we were soon logging the find at 21:45 after a short search.
TNLNSL, although our night cache geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks homerjay73, now it's time to turn the car homewards.

My accountant had rung and said "Quick, you need to do 10 more caches before 1 July in order to qualify for the Rudd Geocaching Stimulus Bonus". So I rounded up the dog and EuDes (I relented and allowed him to sit in the front seat) and we set off in a northerly direction on a cold but increasingly clear night.
This cache was my #7 of 10 on the "End of Financial Year Frenzy" night-time expedition (subtitled: "Exploring the new housing estates in the dark whilst freezing your bum off"). The well-camo'ed cache was uncovered by EuDes' torchlight after a short search at 21:45.

Alas, this one was making me "go crazy". I just couldn't find it. I know how well HJ can do camo on his caches, and I do have to say, they look amazing. But this one the the 4th of the day, and 3rd DNF. The GPSr had me between the road and where I thought it would be.
On the bright side, there wasn't any dust or wind to contend with today, however the flies were making me "go crazy" too.
Another one where I will need some help with.

Another DNF for the day. Not for the lack of trying, oh no. Because of all the damn flies and the wind. OH GOD the wind today is horrible. Dust, flies and the wind. Bad combo. I will try this cache another day. One with less wind. And flies
Impressive camo here. Found at 12:30, took nothing, left smiley eraser and pen pet. Watch out for that well camoed barbed wire as well!!! Cheers.
2nd try at this one, and Mrs Monch comes up with the big win. Nice hide, and this time I didn't nearly cut my leg off on the hidden barbed wire...

Last find for Bumblebee from Ballbag&Bumblebee while she was in Melbourne. While Bumblesister looked after Bumbleniece, Bumblebrother-in-law joined in the hunt. We were all quite suprised by this cache and the nature of the hiding spot. After figuring out how to open the container, we signed the log book and returned the cache to GZ. TNLN. Thanks to Trimble field notes I realised until today 18/04/09 I had not logged this cache.

The cache was well disguised and found in the 3rd place I checked.

Once again there was quite a busy construction area over the road from GZ, but far enough away as to not interfere with our search.
Good numbers had us searching pretty much on top of our find.
Your camo efforts are very effective and we think this is probably the best of its type we have ever come across in our searches!
We SL & made no exchange.

Proceeding on to this one from the neighbouring new estate (and the "Eat the pudding" cache) I passed the most amazing looking old Red Gum which has been preserved beside a playground block - it would make quite a feature on which to hide a cache . Anyway, on arriving at GZ this cache was a nice, quick find - although the camo was really good.

The countryside would have been a much more pleasant view than the building materials nearby, I think the comments in the cache notes sum it up well! Having seen this hide type a couple of times now it was an obvious immediate find, not so easy for newbies and muggles though I'm sure.

FTF at 8.53am. I must admit I am surprised at the tardiness of the Northern cachers to let me grab this one first. Would have been nice to meet up at the cache site but alas, another day. Another neat hide and with several to get in this area, I was soon on my way. thanks Homerjay.
