I'm pretty sure that the cache was above the water level. The hiding place is still there but the cache is gone from it's place.
I won't be replacing it, but the listing is only temporarily disabled for the moment.
Ant may yet have the final word?

I looked low and high, poked and prodded likely hiding spots but after a good 15 minutes had to give it up as the mozzies were threatening to carry me off. There are signs that the area has recently been flooded so I hope the cache hasn't been washed away.
Found at 10.45am, cache was nice and dry even though it was a bit muddy underfoot. Left pathtag, thanks PesceVerde.
Found with Geonanna and Lead Ninja, after geonanna disposed of syringes etc, she'd seen in the park. We found the cache nice and dry. TFTC
oops, wrote 14/01/10 in log book. Was mostly uncovered and recovered bit better when leaving.
TFTC, 6yo Geokid had this one in seconds! Dropped Off TB Too Slow Robo, picked up TB Golden Gate.
Luckily rhe cache was in a cool spot. It was sweltering in the sun today.

A beautiful and peaceful spot. Also surprised that there is no M2M cache here. Ant's Story is sad but his place is peacful. TFTC
Caching in Brisbane while waiting for geohubby to finish in a conference. How many can I get going from closest to closest bouncing my way around the northern suburbs? 35, before boredom sunk in and I went back to a friends to eat icecream. TFTC
Found after a nice stroll through the park. Surprised there wasn't a mountains to mangroves cache here! TNLNSL. TFTC PesceVerde
Always wanted to have a look around here, it looked nice driving past.
A nice peaceful spot and stroll, found the cache OK and also the nearby one.

Second time lucky, aided with three additional pairs of eyes and a new GPS we finally found the cache, thanks.
GPS starting getting a bit scratchy.
Nice spot for a break though.

319 - Found this one fairly easily at 2:25pm. A nice memorial and story, glad you bought us here. TFTC PesceVerde.
Find no. 43 and our first using a GPS! Makes it ALOT easier than map-to-ground. Hehe.

Nabbed this one straight after another nearby cache. EZ to spot with a cachers eye. TNLNSL TFTC
This one is nicely tucked away and no surprise that it survived the torrents. I managed to park along side GZ which was a fluke as I was trying to find an entry point to the other nearby cache....
Having a look around, the water damage in this area is quite obvious. Mother nature is no woman to be messing with....
Cheers PesceVerde.

Did a maintenance run on some of my caches today. This one escaped the water and is AOK.
Found some good spots to place caches around the GZ. However we failed to find anything, lots of debris around from the recent deluge. Maybe the cache floated off or got burind, at least thats our excuse.
Indeed a very peaceful little park. Took out Aussie Cocktail Flags and put in a NOVA 106.9 Lanyard. Also placed a Blue Gold Geocoin. TFTC.
Ahh yes, it is a peaceful spot. Love that traqnquil little trickle of water and the shady grass. Found Ant's story as well as the cache. Signed the log and left the Blue Jeep 4x4 # 0001 TB, took nothing. Could have spent a bit of time here relaxing, but you know how it is ... GZs to visit, caches to find [^].
A lovely spot along a creek line. A nice easy find. Pa Ogre and No:4 found it at the same time.

Over visiting family. Had a bit of spare time so what do you do but a few caches. Bit hotter than home.
Quick find but the GPS was doing a merry dance.
Thanks for the cache.

Found easily after several DNF's in the area. Left Hermine TB to celebrate a find, took nothing. TFTC
We took the long walk in and our GPSr took us to the right spot. Left a toy. TFTC
Cache is enabled. The fallen branches here have been sliced and diced, and the area cleaned up.
Found with a slight drizzle today, but still a pleasant park.
Read Ant's story - a fitting tribute in this calm oasis!
Cache looks exactly the same as it did yesterday (see picture below)
TNLN - forgot to bring the swaps with me, and too lazy to go back to the geochariot. TFTC.

Found the cache at 12.15pm. Lovely park and creek... Took: Millhouse TB and SL. Thanks PesceVerde for organising the cache and hunt.
Like the previous logger, we walked around as the GPSr was going psycho. After deciding to go back to clear sky, & using my old GPSr as an extra confirmation, we found this easily.

Wouldn't have minded experiencing a bit of that calm you mentioned but for us we wanted to find quite a few today so we didn't stop to smell the roses as the saying goes.

Fourteenth for the day and cache one hundred and sixteen on day five of our Brisvegas trip, the cache was found at 1310 in the company of chewinprickles and robmc. The water had really bean barrelling through here, fortunately the cache was still ok. This was a nice park with plenty of bird life. Thanks Pesce Verde for the cache.
#09 for the day after a late start for caching, but then again, cacher is a cacher any time of day

This was our sixth cache of the day with our geobuddies the MadMyers. Young Freaky Geeky had the GPSr for this one and after what must have looked like a drunken wander we found the cache! The pirate stickers caught the eye of THE CHUNKY MONKEY, so out they came and we put a 'Transformer' toy in.
We didn't see a coin or bug in the cache. I hope they're safe.
Thanks 4 the cache.

I don't think MrMad took the time to read Ant's story - what a pity - I may have to make tracks back with the geokids to read the story. Thanks for the cache.

OK, so I got a dose of guilt for sending the Islamorada TB to the wrong side of the globe... so I'll send it back on its way and swap it for a cute little red Jeep which hitch-hiked its way over with me from California.
Thanks for bringing us to a beautiful and enjoyable part of Brisbane that we otherwise would not have reason to visit.

Yep it's a lovely little spot down in the glade
All freshly mown too
It didn't make finding the cache any easier though. I eventually found the right spot
A little blue and orange kingfisher sitting in the nearby tree above the creek was wondering what I was hoping to catch
TFTC, I took the Diabetes Awareness TB and the "J" travel bug. Dropped in Isalmorada Florida Bug

Tagged along with Dizzyanne and DisSister to find this one. What a beautiful memory for Anthony. TFTC
A TB needing placing gave me a good excuse to go and hunt for this one. Been meaning to drop by every time I drive past but never got around to it.

I love a rideby- come past here often and had even previously checked out the bridge as a possible cache spot. TFTC
