As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
Have to agree with BPJTHillas- had a good scout around, but it looks like DSE did a top job with their Prescribed Burn & the cache, like many in such areas, has gone also. Needs to be checked out.
Hmmmmm! Wondering if this one is still around with all the burning off that has gone on. There hasn't been a find since October 2011. Could this one be checked please.
At 15.30h, I wondered about the work that had gone into making the water storage in those days. Took - TB (cinderella's ball). Left - toy car, small tools & fridge magnet. TFTC - Unka Dave.
This one took a little bit of finding - even after reading the hint - and was left up to the geo-wife to make the find. Hope Samantha's Princess is OK in here - it was very squashed... and there were better places we passed a bit further on. It was a nice spot for a break. Thanks.
Found it with Packafattys, sometime within the last week, forgot to log. thanks for the story that this cache has brought
Found while travelling up to Ballarat to stay and find cache's with Packafattys. TFTC
A quick drive by grab with Just a cacher on a run through the Victorian countryside. A chance to stretch the legs (both 2 & 4) and an opportunity to take in the view with a cuppa.
Thanks for the cache whitejaegar

A rushed trip to Melbourne for non-caching purposes, but we thought we might as well get a few on the way.
I loved this area. Had a cuppa, let the dogs out for a run, found a cache, and saw the old distillery. Lovely spot. Cache took some finding.
Thank you, whitejaegar.

this is a VERY WELL hidden cache! and the 'not in obvious place' is very very true. Thanks to a fellow cacher who had written in a log. Had a muggle help me look and 'man a life' ive never spent so long looking for a cache!! Very well hidden!!
Interesting bit of history and a well hidden cache. Found it at 1200 in company with Bushfire, our #2 for our day out.

Friday the 13th May, cold, wet but the Cloud Glider and the ageing Bushfire decided to add a few more smilies to our profiles in this part of the state.
Interesting place to visit and learn a little more about the early history of this part of Victoria.
A well thought hide as it was not where we thought it would be so well done. The log was signed and we were off to the next. Thanks whitejaegar for placing this cache.

I was sad to find out that instead of distilling some kind of delectable eucalyptus flavoured liquor, they made eucalyptus oil. We can only dream.
Quick one on a driveby though took a surprisingly long time to find as it isn't in quite the obvious place.

Enjoyed being able to write 1/1/11 in our log entry. We used to live in this area (before we were introduced to geocaching) so it was good to be able to find a cache and drive past the old house!
Nice one. Loved the spot.
Great one for the kids to find. Shame it was drizzling rain, or we would have stayed longer.
Left a Mexican peso (dollar) from our recent trip to Mexico. Took an Aussie pencil.

Find # 721 @ 16:45 and 15th of 17 for the day.
Not much left of the distilliary now. Looked around to see if anyone had hidden some full bottles but all I came up with was a cache. TNLN Thanks for the cache whitejaegar!

We found our 9th Whitejaeger cache at 2:30pm as the 19th of 40 on our Ballaratatattat Tour V in company of Backpaqer. We were intent looking at one spot when Backpaqer looked over at another a couple of metres away and said that it was over there. I looked to where he had pointed and I could see it peeping out. He then went over and started to ferret around in another spot around a foot away from the cache and it took me a few seconds to realise that he hadn't actually spotted it at all. Thanks for the cache from D B-A.
Nice spot just off the road, easy find by the geopuggle. TFTC. Will be an even nicer spot if the wetland ever fills.
Acting on a spur of the moment decision, my brother (Daz) and I decided to do a trio of caches that were only a few minutes from home. With a little guidance, Daz's son Dale (aged 7 and a half) found it within 10 minutes.
Found @ 1504 on the way home after cruising a couple of 4wd tracks in Enfield State Park. The GPS went a bit haywire (probably not a bright move on my part parking under a tree) and while I toyed about Mrs Mud made the find. After a quick log and rehide it was back on the road to head home, but not begore q quick stroll around the very low dam.
TNLNSL.
Thanks for bringing us to this piece of history we may have otherwised missed!

The last of the day Found at 3.00pm today with beanie
Another era has gone by but it would have had a pleasant aroma around the area back in those days.

Sam and friends along with Geo Dog wanted to check this site out on the way back from Ballarat. Pulled in to find the cache fully exposed at GZ and TB sitting outside of cache..can only assume it was muggled by someone or thing. Left a small Teddy Bear and took Kanga to move on to Adelaide. Replaced cache in a well camoed spot so not so accessible.TFTC
17:50
Mrs P had a crazy idea that we should complete the Warrnambool trip on a multiple of 10!
We dropped off Kanga the travel bug, thinking he may be more at home in this pleasant bush setting.

Found on my way home from Apollo Bay.
Tried this one on the trip TO Apollo bay, and failed to find (don't know why, but ahh well!!) and retied on the return trip and found easily!!
We had to drive around a specimen of road kill at the entrance to this area, and we could smell it all the way at the cache (at least 25m away!!!) PHEW!!!
Find 489. TNLNSL. 2.30pm.
Thanks

GeoFerret and friend came out with me today. This one was the first of four. I was surprised to see the remains of the manufacturing that must have occurred on this site. It would be interesting to see some photos or drawing of the site in it's heyday.
I think they have changed the link to the history to http://www.fgb.com.au/AdditionalInfo/EucHistory.html
Cache was well hidden, but didn't take long to find.
No swaps today.

Found @ 16:10. Found on the way to Rokewood to help set up camp and get things organised for the first stop of the Great Victorian Bike Ride. Found in a common hide. TFTC TNLNSL
A quick pickup on the way through Enfield this morning. A pleasant little area at GZ, almost park-like. Would love to see the dam full of water. The wildlife would be amazing. No swaps but I took the Seafarer TB. Many thanks for the cache Whitejaegar.
A nice spot and a new plaque too. Cache was found easily, and the cammo is coming off but all should be well for a while yet. thanks whitejeager.
The good hiding place and well camouflaged container had us hunting for this for quite some time, this wasn’t a problem as the location was nice and we had it to ourselves. TNLNSL and enjoyed this first hunt of the day. Thanks whitejaeger.
Found today while caching south of Ballarat. Interesting history and nice to hear the frogs in the nearby swamp. In flag, out keyring. We also left The Mariner TB
A nice little spot which I have pasted by many times and never notice thanks for the hide and for show me this area
We were away nice and early this morning, still dark in fact. We were headed for Cressy when Deano asked whether I'd seen this spot. Although not a lot could be seen in the dark I was interested by the history Dean informed me of.
Thanks,

We only had the co-ordinates in the GPSr so no hints for this one and it took ages to find! We were pretty sure of the location and a bit of perseverance payed off with a find.
Great little spot too.

This was another interesting site that this part of the world has no shortage of. The cache was located in the second place we looked but unfortunately not the first time we looked there and ashamedly not even the third.
Took datsun key ring and left peugot key ring
Thanks whitejaeger

Thought this one would be a quick drive-by, but spent a long time searching what we thought was the obvious location. Almost ready to give up before maccamob found the tricky hide. Great location - thanks for bringing us here.
Found by Mary & David at 1705 in company with GeoJo. An interesting and historic site. There were a few places to check and we only found the cache on the third pass. TNLN. Our thanks to whitejaegar.
A nice easy drive by before attacking Trex No1 and 100 not out.
Found it at 16:15 with MrsFJ1 and geoDy.
T: Notepad & Crystal L: Packet of chalk & star wars pen.

I can lay claim to have found this one while feathertop was looking elsewhere. Spot on coords meant there could only be one place so I perservered and got my reward. Nice little layby. Thanks.
A lovely little area to visit on a hot day. I like a bit of history and a pretty area. Featherdown grabbed the cache in a spot I'd already looked. Thanks whitejaeger.
After 3 "looks" and assistance from 2Dudez, I finally picked up this cache. Amazing how much time you can spend on the obvious and only inches from success.
Picked up coin and cow TB, T - bottle opener, L -Sticky notes.
TFTC Whitejager, I thought it was well hidden.

First of 4 FTFs on this morning's wee hours caching run.
found at 6AM, thanks to whitejaegar for the nice FTF prize.
A lovely historical area, that I would never have found if it weren't for geocaching.
Should cache early in the morning more often, as the sounds of the bush were just starting as the sun was begining to rise.
Took badge, left Geocoin.
Thanks again whitejaeger
