I found an old fence on the approach to this just off the road, these sorts of finds just scratch an itch for me.Followed the trail in and made the quick find, I'll need to come explore these trails on a cooler morning. TFTC!
We're honouring the late Queen on today's National Day of Mourning by grabbing a few caches in the hills. She'd have liked that. A quick find with Deefa71. Tftc
Unfortunately this one had been moved from the location in the hint and was right out in the open. I moved it to where I think it's meant to be but could do with a visit from CO to confirm
A day in the hills followed by the event at Hardinge Park, with plenty of caching in between
Out before afternoon event with Lachlan 1.77 and 777Tiger. Quick find. Thanks for the hide
Out in the hills today for an event at Hardinge Park in Orange Grove. Met up with Leg5 and 777Tiger to grab some caches prior.
A quick little stomp off the trail to locate the cache nice and quickly. All was well here with a fresh log! Cheers trail_geek!

Great spot. Have to admit the walk to is a decent workout but it doesn’t take to long. The hill is very steep. Recommend good shoes.
I know the Bickley reservoir area quite well as we’ve come here Easter camping for the past 8 years, well and truely before I got into geocaching.
With the weather cooling down today was the day I wanted to knock off a few in the area.
The container here was in really bad condition, the lid didn’t even fit on top anymore it was so crumbly.
I had seen this prior to my hike so had brought a container and greasy logbook for replacement.
Nice little spot but quite a hike if you’re coming from the south.
Thanks for the hide trail_geek

Needs repair, was full of water. Didn’t have anything with me to repair or put in
An extended day out with B12 started the morning in Kalamunda area and then ended the day on an evening drive towards Lakelands.
Great views to start the day and a lovely cool breeze for the evening, thanks trail_geekfor placing and maintaining this cache for myself and others to find.

Beautiful walk to this. Managed to park a few hundred meters away. Brilliant work
Headed out East of the City to the Hills areas of Lesmurdie and Kalamunda to cleanup a few caches that have been on the radar for far too long.
Managed a good few hours of caching with a dozen finds in beautiful surrounds and finding a good range of puzzles, multis and our personal favourite traditional caches.
We really enjoyed the number of vistas over the foothills areas and the central business district. Can see why many people choose to live in this part of the world.
Thanks to the local COs for their caches.

Lovely walk with Geo Jnr who didn't complain even once walking up the hill. Gorgeous place, thanks for bringing us here. The container itself is missing a part of its lid - I tucked it deep into its home upside down in the hopes of keeping the contents dry.
A nice little walk to this one from where we parked .. although we managed to take the wrong track and had to bush-bash a bit to get to GZ . A quick find by DM09 once we were there, but we noticed that the lid is broken letting in water . Maybe the next finder could bring a 2l sistema or similar out to replace it [?] .. after all it is an 11yo cache.
We also didn’t notice any trackables in the cache.

Quick find after a nice stroll. Great to find a decent sized cache in the hills.
Dropped in 3 trackables. TFTC

A nice walk in the shade of the trees after 'Be my Valentine'. I left a pencil here as well as the pen was not working.
Nice find. Thanks. Pen doesn’t work. Would be great if someone could donate a replacement. Go team Indovu.
Looked like a great hide, but on the angle we were on we found it easily... any way we were going for a bush walk with my youth group so loads of fun

Walked to the cache from Bickley Reservoir, up a seemingly never ending hill
Great walk though and an easy find, tftc.

Quick find after the hard slog up the hill from the reservoir. Lid is broken in one corner but contents dry and in good condition
Certainly a good climb up the hill. Glad it is still cool. Lid cracked but all dry
Really beautiful spot for a morning dog walk, nice hide thank you. Container has a little bit of damage one corner won't be weather proof much longer.
At the end of a hefty hike we were happy to know there was a reward at the end. TFTC!
Second for this morning. Have walked in this area frequently but never on these trails. Go geocaching. TNLNSL TFTC
Not too easy to find. When we left the path heading into the bush it was hard to get a proper GPS signal. The hidden clue lead us to the find. We also found a lot of small bones. Not big enough for a human though

After the series, detour and get more caches before go home. [^]
Again thanks to trail_geek for organising the caches [font=Verdana] [^]

Enjoyed the level terrain walk to gz. Very strangely but alongside the track we found around 18 bicycles. Varying sizes and styles of bikes, looks like parts have been removed and the remains dumped. Anyway we walked on to gz which was not too far from the bikes to make a quick find. Although the in well covered and protected, the lid is cracked and needs replacing. Perhaps the next cacher in could bring a replacement medium container. Thanks trail geek.
As part of the lads fitness training we decided to walk from the bottom of the hill to this cache. Needless to say it was hard but satisfying.
We found it on camp and appreciate the fake spider as someone squealed like a girl.

Back in the Hills again to find a handful of the apparently infinite amount of caches to improve the stats a little bit.
After walking about 10k-s I hopped in the car and decided to do some park and grabs on the ones not far off the roads.
On my way home I decided to visit this area and collect a few more smiles as I still had some time.
Quick find here, TFTH.

A quick detour on the way home to fill a gap on my map. I love the bush around here TFTC
A peaceful walk from my car parking spot and there was silence all around . A great spot for a cache and I sat for a couple of minutes enjoying the slight breeze that was blowing

School holidays rapidly coming to a close. Great weather encouraged me to head to the hills; somewhere I don't often visit since I'm not a huge fan of the bush. I appreciate the proximity of the hide to a path. Thanks trail geek.
Sat an enjoyed the gorgeous view before looking for this one a little further up the track! Great find! Thank heaps! Tftc!!
Came back up to the hills this afternoon to track down some more caches. I'm loving this area of the world. A nice stroll through the bush although a few ups and downs.
Parked up on Horace Rd near Be My Valentine! and had a nice easy stroll to GZ, I was expecting something more severe, although my expectations would soon be met.
Once I arrived at GZ I had a quick find.

#63 cache is environmentally friendly - but to naught. Pen didnt work left one that did - well for a short short anyway. Nice walk in the last hour of the day
It was my first trip to Bickley today and was blown away by the beauty and tranquility of the area. With a few hours to myself I decided to explore a little and discover some caches along the way. This was cache 5. Surprisingly close to the main track. Picked up TB and pathtag. Dropped TB tftc
After some late afternoon caching, this one was on the radar and with some light left in the evening we made the grab.

The caches in this area have been on my to do list for quite some years, but I always seem to find some excuse not to tackle them after having some hair raising experiences with some of those already tackled on this hillside. So am making a concerted effort to get the remaining ones completed this year.
Found any fears quite unfounded with this one as it was an easy walk to and from GZ after parking at the corner of Horace Road.
The nice sized cache was securely tucked away, and in good order other than having a crack in the lid which is very tight fitting, so it might need attention before too much longer.
Left my pathtag then wandered a bit further on and checked out the wonderful views.
Thanks for bringing me here and for the cache trail geek.

Nice fun find with a friend new to geocaching. Dropped off trackable , took nothing. TFTC!
Found this lovely traditional regular with OzMom. Thank you, trail_geek for introducing us the Bickley Reservoir Walk.
(chwiliwr team catch up log)
We went for a walk along the tracks from where we parked. Soon found the cache in good condition.

Went for a walk along the tracks from where I parked. Knee was giving me no problems but I found I was actually quicker uphill on the tracks than I was downhill as I had to be more careful. Soon found the cache in good condition.
Thanks for the cache.

Found cache in good condition. Took the aforementioned long lost traveller as I'll be going on an adventure soon. Fun find, TFTC!
Found cache in good condition, didn't take anything but left a long forgotten traveller.
There is two huntsmen spiders living in the plastic bag holding the cache and one did not want to part with the cache.
Left magnetic phone book picked up TB

Whooooah momma!! Now THAT is a hill climb. Took the road in from Bickley Reservoir.
Reached the top at 6:30am just as the sun was coming up. Nice easy find once I'd caught my breath!
Took rain jacket and compass.
Left $10 Brunei and $1000 Rupiah

A pleasant walk to a quick and easy find. Beautiful wildflowers along the way. Parked at the end of Horace road for a quick grab before the NRL grand final today.

Just a quick stop to stretch the legs. We saw the stroopids stepping out on the way in but didn't take much notice of whether they were cachers or not. Maybe next time. We're sure we will recognise the dog. Forgot to look at the GPS as it was such a nice walk and walked passed it and had to turn around an go back. Found easily.
Thanks for the cache.

Came in from the top. What a terrific view from the top. Peaceful and lovely walk into the bushland. Loved it. L: gold coin. T: Rain Ponch. Thanks to Aushike and trail_geek for the great location and the cache.
Great cache! Visiting from the USA. I have found that Geocaching is the best way to see great sites in Australia. TFTC!
The walk up from Bickley resevoir certainly got the heart pumping. T:Trevororum GC. LN. TFTH.
My interest in geocaching has waned to the point I am pulling out of the game. Where possible I would like to see my caches and trackables adopted by another cacher so if you are interested please contact me. However, caches which require maintenance or appear to have been muggled will be archived. Lang may yer hum reek! Andrew.
