I had a look for a new spot nearby, but nothing to suit this size cache, and above flood level.
Thank you for to all the finders over the years this cache has been active.

Been to replace and clean up this cache.
I found a muggle trail to the tree (in the past this cache has not had a geo-trail)
Looking at the tree, there are broken limbs up in the tree.
I think this spot is now a hang out place for the local kids.
Will start to think of a new place for this hide.

After a message from a cacher, I disabling this cache until I can do some maintenance.
Nice spot never would have known it was here Cache out in open put back where it should be
What a cool spot & a great use of excess fill. Forgot our pen but cache is in great condition. Tftc
A week in Gippsland for golf and caching. Staying in Paynesville for a few days. Found my way to this way through the maze of streets. The cache bottom has rusted out and is quite sharp. Please be careful when picking up. Logged signed and as it is starting to get dark, it is time to head for dinner
Found while out bike caching.
Had the park to myself.
A cache with a great view.

We found this cache today on a wet Eagle Point and Paynesville Caching Morning. The rain had eased to heavy so I took another quick run from the car which seemed to take forever. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
Geocaching my way back from Paynesville to Bairnsdale; from one work appointment to the next, I found myself out here wondering if the dog-walker was the last finder of this geocache who signed the log this morning. Either way, the people who drive around here are utterly confused - nobody indicated, calmly pulled over or seemed to know where they were going on this wee island. My sample size may have only been two vehicles, but 100% muddled drivers is not a good sign. TFTC She Me and the Dog and gwd.aussie
I have been wanting to find this cache for years but I was too scared of snakes to go searching the area. With the company of a brave geo friend today I finally managed to find and Log it.
The bottom of the outer tin is rusted out but thankfully there is a weather proof plastic container inside. I didn't have a pen so haven't signed the book yet but will sign another time.

Great views but worried about getting in closer. Be prepared to scramble and duck.
We looked and looked!!! So sad. We could see plenty of geotracks. We looked up, down and under. Such a shame.
Found it. I was a bit nervous about snakes after seeing a tiger snake on an earlier hunt. But no issues here
Thanks for the island views. Just as well there's a container within the container as metal is rusting away. TFTC
With another reasonable day and the wind not so strong earlier in the day we left after a hearty breakfast in a cafe in Paynesville to do some more caching. Today it was off to Eagle Point and then out on the the Mitchell River Silt Jetties before walking the trail back to Paynesville. (We only walked the trail, having driven the rest).
A good day with a variety of hides, cache types and some great views.
Our last cache for the day.
After finding the GPSr a bit lacking in directing us through the streets we finally made it to a suitable parking place before making the short walk to GZ and completing the find.

With d@geo wanting a cache tonight we headed down after work for a quick find.
Great views.

Needing a cache to fill a gap in my finds for each day of the year calendar I met up with mezza74 after work for the trip out. Parked the car and made our way towards the gz watching out for snakes but I should have been more concerned about mozzies. Thankfully a quick find or I would have had to race back to the car for the repellent.
Thanks gwd.aussie

Today I was in Bairnsdale and the job got cancelled so I filled in my day walking around Paynesville caching on a particularly beautiful day.
This was the first cache for the day and the view was amazing this morning, mind you the lack of wind meant that the mossies were about. Found reasonably quickly before they had a real chance of attacking.

Having family living in Bairnsdale, along with new caches popping up, gives us an added incentive to visit this part of Gippsland. Not sure how we have missed checking out the Right Royal View before this - perhaps it was all the hype around the Royal wedding, that made it glow on the geo map.
Thanks 'gwd.aussie' for adopting this 10 Y O cache to keep it in play..

Spent the day in and around Bairnsdale/Paynesville and collected a few caches while there, this being one of them. A nice walk to GZ soon had the cache in hand and logged. A nod from Mr Plod as he drove up the entry road and did a U turn and left.
Thanks to the CO for a nice easy find here.

Went back today and spent about 30 mins looking despite lots of mugglers and none of them seen me I still could not find the hide.
Will have to give this a third crack.

First find in the Paynesville area. The cache is still very damp. It’d be good to at least put the log book in a new ziplock bag. TFTC
Staying on Raymond Island for the New Years week end. Today we took our bikes out with the intent to pick up the caches from Paynesville to Eagle point. Such a nice area. This cache took longer to find than it should of and had about an inch of water in it. The log is soaking wet so made it very difficult to sign. Should have had my water proof pen with me. Needs maintenance. TFTC

After caching around Newlands Arm, it was now time to head to the other side of the water to have ago around Paynesville and Raymond Island.
This was the last in the area before I had to start to head for home.
I parked the car and went for a short walk over to GZ where I scratched around a little before uncovering the cache, the log was signed and I was on my way.
**Thanks to She Me & the Dog and gwd.aussie for placing this cache.**

We enjoyed the views on the walk to the cache. The Tritonz made the find today. Thanks She Me & the Dog and gwd.aussie.
Staying in Eagle Point for the 2 months to mega BBQ, we cached our way down to Paynesville picking up the trads and a letterbox hybrid in the company of McLookers.
The short walk to GZ was soon sorted and the view was taken in as we signed the cache.
Thanks gwd_aussie for the hide.

Frmen1 & I are revisiting the area. A fairly quick find. Replaced the cache and got back out just before a muggle and his dog came past. There are some magnificent houses and boats in town. We loved the view. TFTC
Dnf today will be back with more time.
I bit of rubish around bit disappointed about that and to top it off stood in dog crap!
So beware of that.

Found on our way to Meetung. After navigating our way through the streets, we arrived at the car park, where we then walked along the track for a reasonably quick find at GZ. A very beautiful and wide location to visit, with some great views! TNLNSL. TFTC gwd.aussie!
What a great camouflage and hiding spot. Had to duck down and hide from muggles walking their dog. Don't think they even noticed a middle aged fat lady sitting on the ground in the middle of nowhere
Wow DNF the first time went back a few hrs later and bam found first go, excellent hiding spot and well camouflaged!
Found it on an overcast afternoon, exploring the area with Emihammi and the family. Thanks for the hide!
This cache is in a lovely spot and luckily I had Dad (who's a local) with me because he could get me to GZ without getting lost. Dad's getting good at finding caches, he had this one spotted before I'd parked my bike. TFTC gwd.aussie
Our 1st cache! Thank you gecko1 for introducing us to caching! [^]
Thanks for getting us off to a promising start gwd.aussie

Found with aburkitt- OK I let him find it as I was a bit cautious of snakes, must remember to wear proper shoes next time! Tftc
This find is an example of opportunistic caching at its best. I am visiting from Melbourne and our holiday home is in the area. Out for a morning jog around the neighbourhood and I got lost in the spiderweb tangle of streets. Whipped out my phone and as I navigated my way back home, thought to myself, "wonder if there is a geocache around here?" Lo and behold, this one was less than 100m away. Followed my compass and soon found myself searching around the tree at GZ. As I searched I hoped there was a pen in the container as I did not bring one. Alas, no pen though it is large enough to contain one. I took a photo as proof but if necessary, will revisit via car to sign. Took some panoramic photos of the view. An overcast day meant it wasn't the prettiest of views but nevertheless beautiful.
Quick find and everything with the cache is good. TFTC gwd.aussie
