ruzzelz I found your cache Back Access on 8/8/2023, 2:15 pm. This is my find 5960 and find # 8 today. Thanks for replacing. A quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
In the area, and seeing as the CO had taken the time to replace the cache I decided this was my next stop…
Retracing my steps from 6 months ago I soon arrived at gz where I was able to stamp the fresh log…
I’m sure there were sheds on the corner last time… now it’s just a field of nothing…
Thanks ruzzelz

Cache container now replaced. Please ensure cache is covered to avoid muggle intervention.
ruzzelz I didn’t find your cache Back Access on 11/5/2023, 11:20 am. Definitely not there. Found the tree from the photos.
I found convenient parking and and an entry point to approach this cache…
That was after oohing and aahhing at all the estates on the way in… that’s a lot of lawn care…
Arriving at GZ I begun a hunt… I found the feature that appears in a previous pic, but wasn’t sure if the cache may have changed since…
Another day then…

On the Northside of Brisbane with friends - RoddyC, Hatzoff, Snickersallan and GrannySmith1947 to attend 2 Events and pick up a few caches before the first Event started. A quick walk and good hint made an easy find here. Log signed by all before replacing as found. TFTC
Traveled up from the Gold Coast for two Events and had enough time up my sleeve to grab a couple of caches before the 4pm start of the first Event, A pint in the woods!
Met up with others doing the same thing as me and had a quick find mainly due to the good hint combined with the easy access.
Thanks ruzzelz for keeping this oldish cache in play.

Two events on today so a good excuse to get around and cache. With the usual expanded group.
Yeah, not too bad a walk in.

Our first cache of the day and so we had done our research on where to attack from. A recent DNF told us there wasn’t a yellow brick road to the hide and also gave us a good giggle.
So we didn’t have a paved footpath but could have done with a bridge at one point. We hadn’t walked far so made a quick u-turn back to the car to grab the gumboots.
I looked at the water crossing the path which must have been only 5 centimetres deep and thought let’s just bash through it. The bottom looked solid but was really quicksand in disguise. I soon found myself sinking up to my knee in 5cm of water. After the river crossing we made it to GZ to find the hide sitting out by itself so after stamping the log put it back in its hole which was only 5cms away (or a knees length in quicksand terms). tftc

#4 on my way home today. Thought I'd tackle one more before I called it a night. Sorry (muggle) hubby, Iwill get home soon.
I took note of the cache name and looked at the map for closest access. Google maps wanted to take me one way but I could see there would be a lot of drama if I followed that course. I chose to drive to where I thought I'd be able to better access the location then turn on the navigation setting. Once I got to the end of the road I could see there was an area between to properties to get to the back access area.
I start down the driveway and made my way towards the back area only to find a mud bath blocking my way.
Back to the car I go to done my Wellington boots. Back on the path again and I quickly make my way through the mud to the back area. The area has recently been mown so it made for a nice easy walk. (Actually, the locals could have a game of footy here.)
I soon had the location narrowed down and headed into the bush. The prize was quickly located but not where the hint suggested, so once I signed the log (thanks DavidWazza for replacing the logbook) I put it back where it belonged.
Thanks Ruzzelz for the hide, TFTC & TFTSF

Petrol-wasting lack of waypoints. Google Maps gave me Ernie St, but that didn't work.
This cache makes you use map reading skills to determine possible entry points. Not all caches are designed as a quick park and grab. Some players enjoy the challenge.
Needing a cache or two for a particular challenge I have set myself, I went for a drive with Charli to show her the uni grounds, while it was a little quiet. We wondered around and then I said I have another quick one we can do, yeah not interested thanks dad, was the reply. So I dropped her off at home and continued on to this one. I saw the CO had been out recently and checked so a good time to head over. An easy find after a little wet walk in but as expected all good with this cache.
I signed the log and replaced all as found. Thanks for the hide and the maintenance, plus keeping this old cache alive. Awesome and a favourite point for your continuous work.

I needed 1 cache to fulfill the Thanks for Ritchie Challenge ( D2, T2) and this one fitted perfectly. I found a park not far from GZ and enjoyed the short walk as it is really nice here. I just had to dodge some spiders then i walked past the cache twice before i saw it. Thank you for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
This morning before work, I thought I would go for a bike ride in the vicinity, and I had selected this geocache as my target on my way around. There sure are some big houses in the various estates around these side streets, and it felt like my route towards accessing this geocache was only really known/used by locals. After arriving at the fire track access, I parked and locked my bike up, and proceeded towards GZ. It was a nice 200 m jog, and it was a cool grassland area with the nearby creek.
Upon arriving at GZ, I soon located the cache. The cache container was in good shape, but unfortunately, the logbook was quite water saturated. Luckily, I had read a few logs before leaving home, hence I had brought with me a spare logbook. Consequently, I left the new logbook in its own small plastic bag inside the container, alongside the old logbook. Thanks ruzzelz for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was also nice to have found this oldie 02/2008 hidden cache, which is one of Queensland's 1000 oldest yet active geocaches.

How many times have I planned to grab this older cache that’s close to where I reside.
Found what seemed to be left of a cache, a destroyed container that was the same as other photos, an old logbook in a torn bag and little Knick knacks lying around
Went out and found it yesterday. Was completely waterlogged but still easy enough o find.
I wasn’t sure about where to access from but parked 120m away and had no trouble reaching GZ. Unfortunately the container was found in the open and the log is saturated. Nothing I could do about the log but put it back in its hide hole. Thanks for the cache
Another oldie on the list that needs finding. Was a quick find after a nice walk with the Domskys admiring the properties nearby while watching our steps for some muddy road.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here ruzzelz. Log was wet.

A really fun morning out with E_Smiley. We met at 6 am to finish the drumbeat series, and then to collect a few others in the nearby areas.
This oldie looked interesting and the drive which took us close to GZ, was quite amazing. I did not know people had houses that big!
After crossing some very wet grassy areas, and gathering a little bit of mud around our boots, we walked into GZ and soon found the container. We have added our name to the logbook, although the book itself is very wet and will need replacing.
Great to find this old one today.
Thanks Ruzzelz

I finished work for the day rather early today, so what else is there to do besides going home and continuing with some jigsaw GeoArt I've been solving over the past few days? Geocaching of course! I didn't have anything planned, so I just grabbed a couple of caches that were close by and went from there. I started at Aspley, then through Bridgeman Downs and finally finishing up at Albany Creek.
I wasn't sure if I went the correct way to get to this cache, but I got there in the end. I parked by the childcare centre and made my way towards the cache. After about 50 metres or so I encountered a small creek, but I wasn't sure if I could make it over, but I managed to make it across easily without any hassles or getting wet.

After finding myself on the wrong side of the creek once again I proceeded around to Camelot Pl. OMG the homes!
Off I set on my search for the cache. At the base of a tree, I headed for the biggest tree. Braving asparagus fern & a steep drop to the creek I came up empty handed. Now to navigate my way out without being scratched to death or falling in the creek. Fortunately I survived both & spotted the cache on the way out
Thank you for showing me how the other half lives. TFTC
Oh the log is wet, almost forgot

Came back out here today! Wow! We admired the homes while driving to the cache, and a nice stroll too. We dreamt of having something like a property nearby with several sort of animals. Thank you for taking us here!
Read a few previous logs - geo grandies said, 'Let's cross the creek. It'll be fun!', they said! TFTC
Well, I certainly went the wrong way! Headed out with the geokid this morning and let google maps direct me to the closest parking spot rather than use the supplied info. D'oh! Crossing the creek was fun. This is a beautiful little rainforest surrounded by the most amazing houses. Thanks for taking me here. Great little cache.
THANKS, for reintroducing me to geocaching and my 12yr old son, whom I last did it with when he was a baby. He enjoyed finding this and is excited to find more.
Geokid is definitely getting the hang of these finds. How amazing are these hotels...I mean houses TFTC
Out for a quick pedal around on Evie to try and find some caches this morning.
Some mighty mansions around here. Most of these garages are bigger than my little house.
A very short hunt to locate this one. All good here.

Winter the Geo-cat needed a day out, as did Mr & Mrs VC, so we decided a short run across the bridge would be a good way to start our day & pick up a few solved puzzles & assorted other caches.
Managed to drive the Geo-Beast to within 120 metres of GZ.
Enjoyed the short walk but was a little concerned when I realised there had been some tree trimming right at GZ which looked fairly recent.
Fortunately it did NOT affect the cache or it's hiding place.
The container seemed OK other than someone had left one of the clips in the open position.
The log was a touch damp but still writable.
I have seen a lot worse caches than this one.
Made our mark & replaced as found.
On the walk back out I took a few moments to enjoy the myriad birds sharing the songs in the sunshine.

Wear sturdy shoes, container is broken so if you are looking next please bring another to replace it, as well as a log book it is wet and severely damaged.
Out with Selva Girls for an after work caching meet up, we had done a few in the area, and she was kind enough to stop so I could claim a smiley here as well. The approach to gz was very muddy after the rain, but what's some muddy, wet shoes for a smilie? We admired the houses as we walked and at gz the container was located after the gps settled. Tftc ruzzelz
Now one for Boxing Day! Great little stroll to a relatively easy find if you ignore the spiders! Took purple bracelet . Left s Combat Carl! TFTC!!
Out and about on a beautiful winter's day. Some amazing houses around here! We parked in Camelot and walked in to GZ from there. We found the cache out in the open but the container was in tact and the log was nice and dry - contrary to what the previous finder's log says. We couldn't find anywhere in the log book that he had signed either, so don't know that his report of the cache condition is very accurate. We signed the log and placed the cache back where the hint said it should be, ready for the next person to find. TNLN TFTC
I was looking for some unloved cache's and this one showed up not too far away.
So after my Saturday morning routine of gym then a visit to the markets I headed off in search of this one.
Parked in amongst the large properties and set off along the path to GZ. The dog that lives along side the path decided to run and bark at me the entire way. Lucky it wasn't too early but glad I don't live next door. Luckily the cache wasn't behind that house as I may not have bothered.
Arrived close to GZ and another dog let everyone know of my presence but luckily he got bored and moved on. Walked around in circles a bit trying to locate GZ. Moved further afield and like others found this out in the open. It was bottom side up and the bottom has broken. The cache was full of water and the log book when removed from its zip locked bag was a soggy smelly mess.
I got a bit of my name on the back page picked up the few swaps that were lying about a dice dinosaur and marble and took them with me as not to become just litter. I found the nearest tree and leant the cache up against that but I'm afraid it's not looking too good after a year of no visitors.
Thanks for having this here though as it's a part of town I haven't visited before.

After finding a nearby cache, I made my way to this one. Wow!!! Look at some of those houses. Mine is smaller than some of those garages!!!! I parked the car and wandered along the access trail to GZ. I didnt need to search for the cache as it was out in the open. I can only assume that an animal had pushed it out of its hiding spot to make room for itself. Everything was intact. I signed the log, rehid the cache in the spot I thought it had been dislodged from, then headed back tot he car to continue on my errands. TFTC
Found it but again it was out of it's hiding place, tucked it back in and covered with some bark/ leaves, Tftc
Was a mission to find the best access point. Once we found where to go was supwr easy. Unfortunately left open to the elements. Could definitely see where it was meant to be so we covered it well with leaf litter sticks and bark so every geocacher will know what they are looking for.tftc
Found it after trying the third access point. Found cache out in open amd out. Covered it up with leaf litter and sticks. Let's hope it stay hided this time.
Thought this would be a quick grab, but there was people riding horses in the direction I took. They now think I was new to the area and was out for a walk to explore... That did involve me taking a loop back to the car. When I got to the cache, it was out in the open. Put it back in the hiding spot where it had obviously sat in the past. TFTC.
I found this one just out in the open in front of its hiding spot so after signing the log I made sure it was well tucked back in. I think I might have dated the log the 16th as I was writing logs this morning for the caches I found in Toowoomba yesterday.
I came in via the impressive front yards and soon found a nice track, with a nice Goldie dog watching me (quietly for once). As I approached the scrub, I wondered how dirty I was going to have to get, but the answer was - not at all. Nice little hole for the cache you found there! TFTC where all is fine. I enjoyed the tour of 'lifestyles of the rich and Northside' homes too.
Arrived from Beams Rd to a solo mutt that continued to bark from when I first arrived until I left, even when I was out of sight. Quick find at GZ. TFTC
Quick find and just about back to the geobus before the local hounds picked up our scent and gave chase... perhaps they have a taste for geofolk!
TFTC
TFTC
Aye, we found it after a nice trek along the creek bed to get to this one. Tftc
Drove down past all the fancy estates to the oohs and aahs of 1MinnieMooJnr and parked in a quiet little cul-de-sac and walked through the path to the sounds of an event at the local footy club. Came to a clearing with a very whimsical lonely tree in the middle, stopping briefly to take a photo. Then headed on to GZ and made a quick find, being constantly aware of both the amazing backyards of the nearby properties and the children running along the nearby creek. Log signed and a pathtag grabbed, swap placed and we were back on our way. TFTC ruzzelz
After fighting with the wife about which way to attack this one we went her way. But i found the cache quick and let her walk around in the creek for awhile before telling her it's up here. Lol.
A perfect sunny day for a cache or two. Once i had worked out how to get into the park without having to cross a river i was set. My beat up ford was definitely out of place, and there were a few strange looks from the muggle neighbours. Cache was found dry and in good condition, and I topped up the camo. Tftc
Came at this one the hard(er) way from across the creek. After a false start when I found myself wading through an 8 foot wall of bladey grass, I entered near the respite centre, and could hear echoes of kids having fun at play time from the nearby child care centre. Past the well constructed impromptu BMX track complete with ramps and clubhouse, over the creek and up the hill past some of the biggest spiky creepers I've seen. Found after applying some logic. Took the TB to take to the Mega. Returned the same way, quite an experience, thanks.
On my way home and stopped in to find this one. Nice little walk to GZ for an easy find. Left a tasty travel bug to continue it's journey. Tftc
Out knocking off DNFs with Tanmitch. Took a while to find as gps had us looking all over the place. Thanks for the mozzie bites.
Yay! Third time lucky. Coming from a different angle helped. Was good to have twoknight as a third set of eyes.
A lovely walk , looking at some very large houses. The trek in was a little muddy (I wouldn't recommend wearing a skirt and sandals like I did) but the cache contents are dry . TFTC . Now off to our small little home
I had been out to Sandgate this morning to make a find on a Earthcache to cover my need for Earthcache day. However after that I had been along a string of DNF's and figured I needed to get to a different area and see if I could change my luck.
So I arrived and picked out this little cache on the map. A few streets and corners later, and I found somewhere to park, in front of some pretty nice houses and went for a little walk down the access track.
I arrived in an area with many places to hide a cache, but it would seem that I must have approached from the right spot and noticed the cache as I was heading for something that looked really good or a hide. So saved me some looking and soon had my name in the log.

Walked through the bush from the other side about midday. Since I only live in the near by streets. Funny being meaning to do this one for while now. Cache is on good condition and safe.
Thanks for the hide

Second time we've attempted this one. Thought now we were more experienced we'd have better luck - but no. Have no idea how the last people found it at night! Might have to wait for more clues from other logs. Too many bases of trees and after a bit of rain hard to move lead litter around if it has been covered again. Big again.
Found it in the dark. Nice hide. Geodaughter would like to be adopted by anyone who lives here in this area. LOL

Some interesting back yards indeed!
We parked at the end of Camelot Place and headed off down an easement towards GZ. At the back of a large property we were met with a large group of revellers apparently celebrating something that need a lot of drinking
Fortunately the party goers were happy to just shout a few hellos as we proceeded past and we ended up alone at GZ to make our search undisturbed. Located the cache (which was out in the open) as suggested by the hint after a short search. After signing the log we recovered a bit better hopefully.
Now to make our way past the party again…

It was a little exposed when I got there so I covered it with leaf litter.

Couldn't get this cache guardian to detach so I could sign the log, here's a piccie instead. Hope the contents stay dry, have put cache back with a stick. Will come and replace log if next cacher finds it wet.

This cache is the closest to home and only 100m from my front door.
Unfortunately my humble abode is on the other side of the creek. I always wondered what it was like on the other side and I must say I am quite impressed. I'm not envious all that much, happy squeezing my family into a apartment smaller than their garage's.
Wondering what happens at the Yamba Café and the vats that were behind it. There were a few other tracks around the creek, not sure where they are heading.
No trouble getting to cache (except for muddy shoes) and it is in excellent condition.
Took toy whistle and left toy maze. Love the colour of the pen to sign log, very bright.
Thanks ruzzelz.

Found the dirt, mud, creek, bmx track, shed, bush. Found the 4 billion mossies. Didn't have enough time to do a proper search as the game of soccer we came to see was about to start, and the gps was sending us on a wild goose chase. So we abandoned the search. Our team lost too! [B)]
Out tonight with [purple]Nyssaflutterby[/purple], [maroon]Net88[/maroon] and [navy]Captain Terror[/navy] we decided to do a mass attack of the area and clear out some caches. We decided to park as close to this cache as possible and i am really not sure if we took the front or back access to this one but it certainly was a very interesting access.
We had to jump over creeks, climb through mud, scale a dirt hill, found a bmx track and eventually found the cache, before once again getting lost on the way back to the car and again making this into a T4.
eventually we found a way out through a "fence" which turned out to be a soccer goal, and found a stray soccer ball which has now been adopted by Nyssa.
very interesting one here
