Lovely little park.
Logbook is soaking wet, I suggest a new container as one clip has been broken off.
UK Mega event trackable appears to have "gone missing"

Cache was on the ground maybe due to the wind. Have placed it back where I think it should be. Tftc
The tree has grown terrain rating increased. Cache requires more pins otherwise all is well.
Clue was right!!! log very damp- forgot to bring spares . Thanks for the stretch hello Mrs
In Christchurch for the Launch of Joy of the Mountains A climbers life - John Harrison who died in 1966 in an avalanche. he climbed with many of the famous climbers of the era. Being my uncle is also the reason my son is named John
Quick park & grab on the way to work. Log book very wet...didn't have a spare with me so could do anything about it. TN:LN:SL. TFTC. #209 for us.

After a great week was had touring around the South Island with Roostaman...including attending the mega event in Dunedin...we spent today finding some caches in and around this wonderful city of Christchurch. This was another nice little park visited on our trip (NZ has so many of them), and once at GZ, the cache was quickly found. Unfortunately the log is quite damp and becoming mouldy.

Gratias Hello Mrs.
Find # 4796 and a total of 52 today with Marcus Vitruvius, on our NZ Mega trip.
Another day of Mega caching around the Christchurch suburbs and city.
Another cache we found about 15m from our GZ, and slighty damp log too.

Arrived in Christchurch late yesterday on our way to the Event at Dunedin. Time for a bit of caching today before we head off tomorrow. Today the satellites had the GZ for this cache some 16m north of where we found the cache. Unfortunately we must report a wet log and wonder if the terrain rating is accurate.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt Hello Mrs.

Thanks Hello Mrs for the cache.
Found during 'The Gangsters' trip to New Zealand, being Big Matt, The Rats, steeba and myself.
It helped having Bg Matt to retrieve this one.
Thanks Hello Mrs for the cache.

#425 Knew exactly where to find cache but just needed to recruit MacPacSon as height adjuster to reach it. Cache visable when arrived, have returned it so not so obvious. Log book really damp and bag split. Sorry didn't have caching bag with spares with me just put in sheet of paper to sign.
Sort of. Could see it, could poke it with a stick, but unable to move it enough to dislodge it and sign the log as I had neither a ladder, nor smaller person with me to boost up to retrieve it! I reckon you'd need to be over 1m75 to get this one unaided. I'm counting this as found, though. Nice idea for a cache location.
Found the cache and the contents of the cache near a tree on the grass perhaps the wind had taken it for a joy ride, tried to pick up all the contents that I could find and place back in the container and back in it's probable location, log book is now very wet.
I took a taller member of my family back to GZ and he scaled the tree for me and sure enough my luck caching ring was sitting in the posy right next to the cache. Now it is safely back on my finger. Happy days.
246 Had a friend come with me today to attempt this again. She lent me a lucky ring... hm.. the outcome was debateable. I got the cache but unfortunately, in the process, lost the ring! Oh dear, gutted. Couldn't find it but think it is with cache. The cache was sopping wet. We dried the insides as best we could. The log was quite damp so this may need checking to further drying out. Hopefully the ring will turn up too. TFTC
It was still spitting when we arrive. The tree we suspected it to be in had a mini waterfall coming from it. No sign of ivy or the cache
When I arrived the was a bunch of "adult" idiots playing on the swings. It was a nice day so waited....... Just when they left Granny & granddaughter arrived. However was able to get in and out quickly without being spotted. Cache is damp & smells bad but great hide.
Park empty this time. Cache a bit of a mission for vertically challenged cachers like us and a bit wet!

After 3 DNFs on Little G caches today we were looking forward to this one and quickly spotted a likely looking spot. Unfortunately 4 young muggles raced in to play just then so we left empty handed.
Great hiding place, It's still there, 1eyednbf

As with macpacfamily log, suspect the ivy has been pulled off the tree and the cache is gone, would suggest cache owner checks up on it
Not having a good day... this was 2nd DNF followed by a muggled container! Not sure if this is also a cache that needs attention. The ivy in the clue has gone. You can see that it had been all over the tree by the marks and odd remaining bit. No sign of the cache unless you have to reach a lot higher than I thought.
Quick find .. and as we were leaving a suspicious looking 'muggle' dressed like a tree surgeon arrived to look at the very same place we had just been, TFTC

I stopped by here on my way to BaldEd's anniversary party. Very nice little park, and fun hide, on a beautiful evening. Helped me keep my cache-a-day streak going (day 64).
SL/TFTC!

A Day for second attempts. Success for today. I thought the GPS was way out but spotted the hide on another walk past. HInt slightly misleading now! Thanks.
Found on 2nd attempt - don't know how I didn't spot it the first time. TFTC (#194, 9.36am)
Kids played in playground until little muggles left, then straight to it - big reach. TFTC
I found this on tippy toes while picking up trademe purchase nearby. Swapped I love NZ pin for Ashburton pin as my family settled there from Ireland (as if I need to justify?!) TFTC
Finally; 3rd times a charm - an empty playground at last...Quick find whilst driving by...
Glad I'm not short!....Cheers.

TFTC. TNln> Had to return later in the day with a tall son to assist with the retrieval.

Quick find with Mosi's 'brother' Kozan. Always feels weird caching without kids! TFTC, TNLN.
TFTC - very challenging for those of us who are vertically challenged already but managed to use the things around to get this cache. Thanks for the challenge. TNLN - SL
Another cache in a playground, another where McWindeLuneX7 made a quick find and I barely had to leave the car to log this - it was brought to me again. Cool Thanks for the hide Hello Mrs.
I think Winglen was really enjoying the excellent level of service she was getting from her fellow cachers!
Quick grab and sign, then on our way.
Thanks for the cache.
