Went and checked it today....and it's gone.
We have already moved this cache once.
And it's been muggled again.
Won't replace it as somebody obviously knows the hiding spot.
Thanks to all who visited.
Cheers M+S [:O)]

Enjoyed the informative walk but, like others, unable to locate cache despite finding where I think it should have been.
This is the 2nd time we've attempted this cache, the first time it had gone AWOL. It looks like it could be the same problem again.
We were in the right place, the clue made sense, but no cache....

TFTC. TNLN. This was a fun cache. Thanks! I enjoyed the signs along the way, and the view at the end.
Great location and enjoyable walk. Fishermen muggles nearby so care required. Left "silver" coin.
Plenty of muggle truck drivers nearby but none interested in us. Plenty of action for a couple of kids! TFTC
Great spot - quiet day except for a fisher muggle - took Georgia's Birthday Kiwi Geocoin
Hi, we went to see Quenn Mary 2 when it left the warf from Auckland. We waited that all muggles were gone and found it easily. TFTC

Sunny weather and a mild breeze made this tour extremely pleseant. We have learned a lot about the habour and also saw the heli airport (that we saw also in a NZ documentary that was available in the airplane's entertainment system). Auckland is very nice and totally worth a long trip.
A fair number of people were fishing there today.
I wanted to leave a big TB, but the box was smaller than expected.
TFTC
"The Thrill of the Hunt Geocoin" wasn't in the cache.
IN: 2 coins - one from germany, the other one from england
OUT: 1 coin

Another one found by The Worm today. Glorious Day. Didn't bring the camera sadly, but enjoyed the walk and watching box and boat activity. Had a good rollerblade around the bays too.

The coordinates were right on the spot. But we didn't trust it and looked for the cache a few meters away where there are a lot of possible hiding places. It took quite a while till we understood the hint and went looking where the GPS had pointed all the time. TFTC.

Well glad this was the furtherest we were going to walk from where the ship was docked. We guess a find always makes it worth while. Fishermen were trying their luck nearby and there was a yacht race happening in the harbour. Weather was a little fickle but not too hot.

Quick find during an after-work walk to pick up few more central city caches whilst staying in Auckland. Interesting spot, had never been round here before. Signed log, TFTC!
Very cool cache along a walkway I would never have found on my own. Plenty of action with helicopters coming and going and huge machines moving containers around. Had the walkway to myself though which was a surprise on such a nice day.
Many thanks

Found in the company of the inimitable XenaCommander.
TechnoKitten has been very slack with logs and is finally catching up.

XC and TK cycled around a few after the WWFM event... Enjoyed the location although TK found great difficulty cycling on the white gravel...
Nice placement... Enjoyed a chat with some truckies after signing log... Swapped out jeep TB and left "Thrill of the Hunt GC"

An interesting spot that few locals would know about I expect - certainly meet no-one on the same side of the fence while we were there. TFTC
Interesting spot - the info boards where helpful. Will be really nice as the pohutukawas grow bigger. Took helicopter and left Discovery Travel Jeep TB as it felt appropriate. TFTC.
Great walk with a different and interesting view. Stopped and talked to truck driver waiting for his turn. TN, L helicopter key ring in honour of the nearby transport site.

Neat spot for a lunchtime walk. Several muggles out doing just that today as well.

What a cool walkway. Lots of action as we arrived, all the machines driving off (back to base?) and then not seen again. Must have been smoko time. Cheers for the tip off, would never have known this was here. Quick find. Great views of the harbour today with hundreds of sails up!
Nice walk on a Sunday afternoon, not to much muggles around.

Nice hide Tried this one a while ago at the end of a day of geocaching but gps battery died on the way out. Success this time. TFTC
Hmmm, my GPS had the old coordinates in it, no wonder I couldn't find it at first. On returning to the car, observed PhilipA returning from another cache nearby and we joined forces (using his GPS) to find the cache. Cheers!
My first New Zealand geocache, wahoo! Met up with KiwiGary and walked along the beautiful river at night to find this cache. Took geocoin and will take it back to the states in 3 weeks. Drop off 10 bugs! Thanks for placing this cache, and for KiwiGary for taking me here. - TP/corey
20:18 Back again another after our last Dnf when the cache had been muggled.
This time I had a secret weapon Team Pez from Georgia in the United States. It was Corey's first New Zealand cache, so it was great that he found the cache first.
It was a great night and the wharf was very busy tonight. Didn't need the torch as the area is very well lit.
Thanks for cache Mike. Left a few trackables that Team Pez picked up, I also picked up a few trackables that wouldn't fit in the small cache

Definately 'lotsa boxes'. A nice walk in the afternoon yesterday. Dropped off a geocoin. Nice hide. TFTC
Lot's of boxes indeed. Was more interested in the flash helicopters the other half use though. Quick find, TFTC
Wow - soooo many boxes, soooo little time.
I wonder how many plastic boxes could fit into all of those steal ones. Mmmmm Plastic Boxes!!!

Unfortunately it looks like this cache has diappeared. We found some swops and silca gel nearby but no cache. A quick check with the owner confirmed we had been looking in the right place too...
Otherwise a fantastic place. Our 6 year old loved all the moving cranes especially when the drivers waved at him and beeped their horns!

13:42 Great spot but also DNF for us. We searched high and low, I suspected where the cache may have been, but couldn't find it.
Took little Liam along with me and he loved watching the Helicopters. Great spot Mike will have to return when the cache is up and running again. After seeing Adnshe log looks like this one is a goner. Thanks for cache Mike, bummer its been muggled. Great to see you this morning at the event.

#875. Quick stroll this afternoon between passing showers. Port was busy with lotsa boxes on the move. Somehow those cranes remind me of War of the Worlds. Nice little cache placement. Toof Coin and TB. TFTC.
2nd Find today. The kids loved this one! Helicopters departing and arriving, staddle cranes honking at them, and boats! Not to mention all the stones to throw into the water (Mrs SWW not pleased by the latter). It was a lovely sunny day for this one. + toy car - TB WQ3115. TFTC
Pretty nice trail, interesting area, a few muggles about. Took some pics. Mrs Wonder grabbed this one, I was in the wrong area. Thanks for the placement, wasnt concerned with the cameras, good fun,
Cheers!

High winds from the east and a highish tide meant we got wet.
Loved the area would be great to take kids to, but just hope the people on the other end of the CCTV know about it. Managed to retrieve it stealthily but had a devil of a job getting it back in place.

2.30pm. Couldn't have been a good day on the Maori fishing calender as no muggle fishermen today. No muggles at all in fact. Only a couple of helicopters coming and going. Enjoyed the new walkway - how do you find these new places? No difficulty with the find. Sat in the sun and inspected the contents.

What a great spot for little enquiring minds. Lots of things to ask questions about. Popped out at lunch time for a short walk.
Thanks Pud - good place for a cache but be quick before the fishermen find the spot.
Cheers TT

Found 0710 on my morning run. Interesting spot, under the watchful eye of some truck driving muggles.
Picked up "Obsessed with geocaching" and yellow "Around the world" geocoins.
