Could not find this one. Was not in the obvious spot for the area. Nice view though!
Had a few hours (and a car!) to explore the area before dinner, so I dragged a rather unwilling geobeau to this cache. Pretty sure we weren't meant to access this from the road but we climbed up anyway The day was swell and we weaved through the track on a way back. Tftc and the nice views!
TFTC kandles. Our first for the day, found in an obvious place quite easily by N04 despite the GPS telling us it was 10-18metres away. Jimmytherat with Noelle04.
Thanks Guy's took the hard way with Jimmytherat but well worth the effort for the view! 1st time here oh sooo! Pretty.
Spend the night a few meters away in our van and found this quickly this morning. Nice view
Found with YGAT on our early morning walk. The cache was a little exposed so we tucked it away out of sight.
It's a beautiful place for a cache, thanks kandles.

This early, there was still a cold wind blowing off the bay but GZ was nicely sheltered. Great spot. SL TFTC
(This is a copy and paste log because I am catching up with logs.) This GC was done with thomasalcock. Log signed with variations of Alcock. TFTC
Stepping over ants nest to get to GZ then container v quickly spotted SL TFTC
Woohoo! Our first geocach. I had just given up. Thank goodness for the enduring positivity of the 9yr old!!!
Loved it! The view is amazing. It was pretty easy to find. I felt like an adventurer like Indiana Jones.
Found it! We followed the road and had a bit of a scramble uphill to get to it. Take the path next time. Left it as it was
Today we travelled from Caringbah to Nelson Bay for a quick holiday. For some reason HanorahTLG managed to find the most containers...
I went up the hard way, as in approach from below. As it was dark I couldn't considering going down back that way a good thing. So I went the official path back to the street.

Excellent walk up here on a rainy Shoal Bay day. We made the mistake of walking up the road rather than path and needed a scramble up the bank. Tftc!
I attacked this cache from below which mean a bit of a scramble up.
The "cache" was located, it is just a plastic bag with the almost full log sheet inside, there is no container as such.

No luck here for us. Looked at the right side of the platform and nothing. Widened search and still no luck.
TFTC, spent 20 mins looking for it, D1.5, T1.5 so it should'nt be that hard. Then as I was about to log that maybe its been muggled my thoughts where confirmed when I found the log and nothing else on the ground in the long grass. Did the best I could and replaced behind the post and below the platform ground level RHS looking up from the bank.
Thanks for the view! TFTC
Didn't take anything or leave anything but love .... Tiny! Fun to find.

Up to Port Stephens from Sydney for the ANZAC Day Wknd. Found it, easier to approach from above, there are tracks up on either side about 50m away. Dropped off a TB from Sydney. TFTC

Wasnt keen to go down steep hill covered in bush ....if thats where it is? with two littlies! On to the next one
Ai...did not find it. And probably my only visit to Port Stephens so no other chance of finding it. Regards from the Netherlands.
Our very first geocaching experience. Lots of fun. Nearly gave up but we did eventually find it. How exciting. Hint....Don't be ridiculous, you will feel fresher.
This was a bit tricky for me, being new to geocaching. I actually spotted it without knowing it at first. My second find. TFTC
TFTC Found by oneyeandbag. First found another item that looked the goods but all we got was rust .
Nice view.

Like others, we only scanned the cache description and ended up tackling this one as a T3...scrambling up the embankment. Spotted a baby lorikeet close to the road. Found cache using the hint but in a different container to what we were expecting. SL TNLN TFTC kandles

TFTC!!! Second cache of the day was easily found after looking for similar containers at the Gan Gan Lookout. ☺
We have travelled up from Sydney to Port Stephens, camping at the Lemon Tree Passage Big4 Koala Shores caravan park, for our annual summer holiday. Today, with the rain finally gone and the sun once again shining, we set out to target caches in the Shoal Bay area. This was the 12th, and last, find of the day, 33rd find of the holiday.
After finding "Inner Light" we drove around Beach Road and parked the Geomobile at the end of Victoria Parade, as it was a one way road and we were going the wrong way! We then walked up Victoria Parade until we were close to GZ, but GZ was up in the bush from the road. So we climbed up through the bush to GZ and made a quick find. Signed the log sheet, picked up the trackable, and then replaced as found. TFTC.

Great view! Found with Phil, Radelaide and Zac. Log getting full and crumbly. TFTC!
TFTC what a climb! I climbed up the embankment... I will be going back along the path to go back to our holiday apartment. My first cache on holiday.
Finding myself.in the area for a weekend away, a play for the geokids down by the marina was in order... While hanging about I grabbed one of the scooters and took off the kilometre down the road to this cache. Nice little parkland here... Slowed myself down on the approach, and with a quick.check of the GPSr to point me the right way,and quick find was made. Nicely done, and a nice view to boot, even on a dreary grey day
Also in beautiful Nelson Bay we were lookin for some caches. We walked up the road, saw where we should be instead and realised once again that reading the cache information is extremely helpful )
We found a way and soon held the box in our hands. Thanks for showing this nice spot to us. TFTC and greetings from Switzerland

A great spot. What a view. Jogged up the road and realised where i needed to be so doubled back and took a sensible approach. All smooth after that. Tftc
