Three of us had a look for about 10-15 minutes all around the mark plus about 10m uphill and no sign (
Today I found GZ a couple metres uphill from the posted coords. Replaced the logbook and added a new mini pen.
Down in Brisbane for the day and had a whole day of caching planned but the unseasonable amount of wet stuff falling from the sky might hinder that plan. Ive got my gumboots, raincoat and umbrella so well see how far we get! Came the wrong way and had to push through the wet bushes but found the cache. Thanks for the cache PesceVerdeFind #6214
It was my second time looking for this cache and I was determined there would not be a third! This cache can be my G for the spell August challenge! Glad to have redeemed it! The log is damp but able to be written on.i made sure the ziplock bag was sealed properly. Once I worked out the dead tree I was onto it. TFTC
Its nice that it is on a bike trail but its a pain to go through because of the spikes bushes also the creator of this cash the logbook is a bit wet
Als deutsche Touristin, die den Hinweis erhalten hat, Vorsicht wegen Schlangen walten zu lassen, habe ich hier die Suche verkrzt. google-translate:As a German tourist who was advised to be careful about snakes, I shortened the search here.
Storm comingso bestgetback to the car but Ive gone round and round abdcant find it!
A little time this morning to look for a cache, so the dog and I headed to this reserve. We found this cache and ruled out two options for the nearby multi. I found a good track just on the edge of the dam and with about 20m to go, headed uphill. I found the cache quite quickly considering the number of bushes and hiding spots about. The log book was a little damp, but I was able to make my mark. It was then back to the car. Thanks very much for placing this cache Pesceverde. Cheers
This was an awesome find and we found it within minutes. Now all we have to do is get out!
After a CITO nearby, we looked around which caches we hadn't found yet.
This was one of them. We found it and signed the log.

PesceVerde I found your cache Gems Perhaps on 10/5/2023, 10:25 am. This is my find 5266 and find # 1 today. Bush bashed down until I found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Found easily while walking with Sausage3 on a beautiful winter’s day. Damp logbook so replaced its plastic bag. Took a tb for further travels. Tftc
On the Northside of Brisbane to attend two Events it's only right to get some caches before the 1st Event and this was one of them.
I was out with RoddyC, Hatzoff, Snickersallan and grannysmith1947. A quick find was made here, I think it was because it had a good hint..
Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC

Traveled up from the Gold Coast for two Events and had enough time up my sleeve to grab a couple of caches before the 4pm start of the first Event, A pint in the woods!
Met up with others doing the same thing as me and had a quick find mainly due to the good hint.
Thanks PesceVerde for placing this beaut hide.

This geocache has been on my map, unfound and annoying me for too long! With a bit of time this afternoon and a desire to get out, I chose to finally head up to grab this. Coming from the northern Gold Coast, it was a longer but welcome and calm drive. I parked up at the top of Dam Rd, on the Jinker Track and headed down.
It was already reasonably late, and I knew it'd get pretty dark as I walked. But, that's alright. What I didn't expect though, was how cold it would be. It has been drizzling rain all day and now getting late, I had to will myself to move faster to warm up. Shorts, shirt and a vest wasn't quite adequate.
At least the tracks marked on my map made sense, and were accurate. I had to hop over a creek at one point, then turn right and cross the dam wall. From here it was a shortcut across the bendy bike track. Then, looking at contour lines, I wandered off track.
Down below the dam and a little platform some kids have made. And in the failing light, I arrived without issue at GZ. I looked around a little, but wanting to expedite the hunt, I flipped through some logs. This narrowed down my hunt - especially a photo from a long way back.
Not quite where I'd have otherwise expected, I found the little container tucked away. All in good condition here; I signed my name, dropped a trackable that I picked up in Townsville, and replaced it all back as found right at 17:00.
Now time tohead back. I took the lower footpad back to the tracks the whole walk was delightful as owls had started calling, and fog was descnding into the forest. Nice to have finally found this older geocache. Thanks, PesceVerde

Not sure if my GPS and the storm were giving me issues, but this one was way off from the location. But alas I did find it
I was in the area finally sans child to pick up a few caches. All up it was an 8km hike with some great finds. After finding a couple of nearby caches I headed down to this one. No issue with understanding the clue, but there were a few pillars to choose from. found the right ones and spied the cache. TFTC
In the area hunting an old cache, this one was just to close to ignore… it’s actually closer than I thought possible…
It didn’t too long to locate the container, it was a comment by a previous finder and the hint that lead me to the cache…. I was some 9m from where Geepers originally had me… tftc…

There weren't many people around today, so this bush walk was a relatively quiet one. DanSanHai and I enjoyed ourselves out in the woods looking for caches.... DanSanHai spotted this one!! TFTC!
Early morning mountain bike ride, popped into the scrub looking for this geocache. What an amazing location. TFTC
2 of 2 caches found while at Bunyaville for trail running. Had a bit of trouble locating this one (coords were off on my phone by 10m) - used the hint for an easy find. Thanks for the cache!
A few wrong turns but got there in the end. Lots of people out on their bikes. TFTC!
Today with COVID-19's lockdown in effect, I decided to take a short drive to Bunya for a jog around a few parks and reserves, and then on my way home, I made a stop at Bunyaville Conservation Park for a trail run along those tracks and creeks.
This was my final cache find of today, and for me, it took quite a while to find as the geocache wasn’t in a usual/logical hiding spot. The hint wasn't the clearest to be understood, and so with room for interpretation, I kept wandering around GZ trying to spot something a little supicious. I was about to give up thinking perhaps it had been muggled, but eventually caught my eye on this cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks PesceVerde for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. I liked the nearby lake, which made the area quite scenic!

Nothing better to go geocaching on a Sunday morning. Lovely hiding spot and the cache stayed not hidden for long. TFTC PesceVerde
Took me a bit but I got there! Just a warning, watch out for the spider thats now made this cache its home
We enjoyed our walk into this lovely bushland today. Not far from GZ we were surprised and happy to see water, which I’m sure the local fauna appreciate.
It was a quick find for us at GZ, and then we took a direct route back up the hill until we met with a track which was buzzing with mountain bikes today. We decided to stay out of their way and continued off-piste back to the main trails and then up to the car.
Thanks PesceVerde.

After grabbing the nearby Earthcache I decided to venture in a little further in search of this cache. It was a rather warm day which didn't make the walk to GZ overly pleasant, I was a complete mess when I finally reached GZ and that water looked highly tempting to have a quick dip to cool off, but who knows what's lurking in there, so I'll pass.
I couldn't work out the hint at first for some reason, so the cache remained unfound for several minutes until I dug a little further in the information provided, after that the cache was in hand a short time later. With the log signed and the cache replaced, it was time to retreat back to the comfort of my cars aircon.
Thank you for bringing me here today.

Our Samson strength didn’t pull the hose down, but did find us the cache. Thanks for it!
We had a few hours free this morning so I convinced my husband to go for a walk to find 3 caches near here. This was our first cache to find and it was my husband who spotted this cache. Thanks for taking us here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Popped out for a morning stroll and to collect some Wonders. A place I have never visited but will be back, the rope swing near the dam is calling our names! thanks for bringing us here.
Out today to continue my challenges of a cache a day and a trad a day, while I had this area saved for a particular challenge that may happen, it seems it will be a while before that challenge will ever happen again. There are three little caches of different types here so today I grabbed all three.
First was a puzzle cache, then a nearby trad, before I headed up to the earth cache.
This trad cache was just a short walk from my last find and an easy find. I open cache and all was dry and clean inside, signed the log and replaced the cache as found. All good with this cache and a nice hide.
Thank you for placing this one here and maintaining it, it was now off to my last one for the day, the earth cache in the area.

Out this way to pick up my daughter and stopped in here for a few caches. Once my phone’s GPS settled it was an easy find. TFTC.
Another relatively old cache a short walk from my target cache for the day...gotta love that! I quickly arrived at gz from my previous find and added my name to the log here. Tftc PesceVerde
I snuck out of work for an hour or so to pick up some caches over lunchtime. This cache was on my hitlist, as it was nearby to a few others (oldies, and solved puzzles) that I wanted to collect.
The cache was unfortunately out in the open when I arrived at GZ. I suspect it has been moved by animals. Thankfully, the cache and log were still in good condition. After adding my moniker, it was a quick return to where I suspect it should be hidden, and then retreated further up the path. Be wary of the BMX riders - they come down this path quite quickly and you will have to get out of their way with little warning.
TFTF - TB visits as well.

Found this one whilst taking the geopup for a walk in this park. Was a fairly quick find as cache was showing. TFTC from the inspectorrexteam.
Wasn’t planning on geocaching today.
Was walking in the area and checked my phone out of interest. TFTC!

Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. TFTC *415* streak. *2553* Finds
Managed to find this after work today. Area is still quite scorched looking, but that does limit the potential hides. TFTC!
In the area today and we were pleased to see that this was enabled so we could clean out this section of bushland.
A couple of small green shoots and a new cache container have sprouted at GZ. Enabled but now no gems, perhaps.
It seemed like a run-of-the-mill burn-off last month, but not a skerrick remains of the cache at GZ. The gem field is baron. Rethink necessary. Cheers.
