Great location for a cache, we went in the complete wrong direction first and had to climb through the slipway and over a barb wire fence after climbing a near vertical hill!
But such a challenge is exactly what guys like PacketStorm4 and myself need (2 18 year-olds) to show off to the ladies
TFTC, took the bells geocoin, might be a nice challenge.

Came out here in the rain with the Mustardland Garmin Big Ben coin, which had specific instructions for it to be left at a cache with a Bell name.(Couldn't get any closer to the name if I tried) And since the orders were direct from England, I thought they'd overrule the Ranger's No-Trespassing sign, right! Well, maybe not, but as it was p***ing down, I had a feeling he'd be inside having a hot cuppa. TFTC embi, TNL-Geocoin, SL
I wanted something out of the norm for my 1000th find as this was the closest challenging cache, and previous logs ignored an atempt was made. The effort was worth it, it took a while for the penny to drop (joys of not having cache notes with me). Thanks embi from one happy cacher.
It would by a pity to see this site lost to caching but in line with previous cache logs I had to enter a no go zone to get a find - added to the fun and challenge.
Dropping in some TB's to join the celebrations.

Things have not changed much since the last two logs, the area is still marked as off-limits. But there is such a large gap under the gate
We weren't sure if you would mind us moving the cache, so we left it where it is. We will be going back to do a few others in the area, if you want something done, just ask.
A nice park for a walk.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found at 1010. Ditto for much of Rabbitto's log. Wasn't sure if I was supposed to go via the slipway, until I saw the sign. Then I had to step over a small barbed wire fence on top of that. Met up with local walker prior to entering the slipway who said access is not possible anymore from anywhere near this point. If the cache stays here, someone may end up getting caught.

We found our 15th Embi cache at 11:30am as the 4th of 29 on our Ballaratatattat Tour III. It appears that we may be the 100th finder of this cache. Unfortunately at it's current location, we may be the last as this whole section has been fenced off with a 6ft high cyclone fence complete with Tresspassers Prosecuted signs. I made entry via the slipway as the fence does not travel all the way around to the top of the hill and hopped a barb wire fence near the top. A quick find then returned via the original intended route as the location of the gate on the cyclone fence had about a 2ft gap underneath it due to its location. The cache will probably need at least a 60m or so relocation to remain in a legal area. Thanks for the cache from D,H & A B-A.

4th find for the day in a lovely spot. We walked up the wrong path and had to cross the weir and jump through the fence. Found the cache pretty quickly and it was all waterlogged still. We dried it out, put in a new log book, pen and a mondo. We have the old log books, they were still very wet, so we decided not to put them back. We'll deliver them to Embi soon.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Great walk, and good exercise on a lovely afternoon getting to the cache. Sat down for a few minutes at GZ and thought about this one… and the very clever location quickly emerged when you knew you were looking for something. The youngest kitty had rushed off into the bush as soon as we stopped the car, we followed not having the time to grab any swaps so TNLN, signed log. Thanks Embi this really was a fun find, and a great park to visit.
And other Embi cache with the usual twist I'm coming to expect. Found without to much trouble especially as the previous finders left the finding tools nearby.

Fourth of six Ballarat area caches on my back from the far west. This was the second of the Gong Gong Reservoir twofer. When I pressed 'goto' for this cache at "Photo Shoot", GZ was only 42m away! The guidelines were obviously still under development in 2001. I initially discounted the cache location when I arrived at GZ, but I spied the cache shortly after at 1305. Retrieving it was the next challenge, but I managed it. Replacing it was an even bigger challenge, but I managed that too with the help of a nearby 'tool'. Thanks to Mark & Bec for the cache--it is as challenging as you intended.

After our second visit to this area we finally found it! Two hints for those who are looking for this cache:
1. It helps if your GPS is running on WGS84 Datum (when we first went out we had ours set on AUS84 and it was telling us that the cache was in the middle of the dam).
2. It's closer to heaven than hell.
Took Merlin figurine, left motorbike. We also replaced container because the old one has a crack in the lid.

Found at 9:15am on a beautiful Easter morning. Attempted to dismantle several rotting stumps before we finally zeroed in on the cache. The cache container has a cracked lid, the zip-lock bag was torn and cache contents were saturated and some were quited mildewed. Dried it out as best we could. The log book was also close to full.

A nice and fairly easy cache to find. Luckily Rumpelstilskin?? was able to let down her golden hair so that the tower could be breached. The Bells were certainly ringing today, especially with the amount of rain that has fallen over the last 24 hours. My feet were ringing also, soaked right through and very cold. Not to worry, going outdoors is what it's all about. TNLNSL

Beck was down around my place in Ballarat for a change this weekend so we decided to go and do some local ones in the are.. Not to mention the chance to be able to drop off a couple of TBs that we had for awhile from Albury region.
This cache had us searching a little until Beck saw the holoow up above. I'm just lucky I'm tall so could just reach in to grab the goods.
To be honest I can't remember what we took or left (seems to plague us lately) but will no longer be a problem as we bought a cvheap 2nd hand laptop for caching for just this reason.

4th of 7 attempts today in the Ballarat area. Visiting from Pittsburgh, PA, USA and traveling around Victoria. Found this one immediately after logging the Photoshoot cache. My GPSr kept pointing to a structure that I thought could not be where the cache was hidden, but eventually I realized it must have been there. After using a prop nearby to help give me a 'boost', I was able to score the find. Nice spot. Left 'Froggy Went a Travelin' TB and took Generic TB. Thanks!
Found the cache relatively easily, and then took about 5 minutes to actually get it. I’m not sure whether this one, or Muzza’s I’ll huff and I’ll puff v. 4.2 was harder. Any way, got it safely, and relatively easily, compared to M8, where I got my foot stuck while hanging of a 3 metre ledge.
Left generic Travel Bug, took nothing.

now now piggy.....its been rolling around in my boot. I just havent been back there....too many caches to approve
Found by Team Piggy.
Nice n easy, as the clues said, interesting spot too, never would have known it was there !
Took Handcuffs (Wondering what smurf was doing with these anyway ?? they aren't police issue, so ??)..
Left umm, Nails I think ! Cache has a huge hole in the side of it. Getting a bit wet ! If the next finder could bring a 2 + Litre container it would be good.
Cheers

Found this one easily at 12:30 today, my second of 7 for the day. It was a lovely sunny day and a great day for a walk. Unfortunately, like many others, I chose the path up the wrong side of the spillway. As there was no water in it, I crossed it and jumped the fence at the other side.
Once across, it was an easy stroll to the site. Obtaining the the cache was not hard for me, but returning it was a bit harder one handed.
No swap was made.
Thanks to Mark and Bec for the cache.
